i got my new PC 2 year ago, before that i have been playing with a GT440 for a really long time, that thing has been running at 80-98 degrees eversince it came out, it was about 11 years old when i switched from it, it's back in my father's PC, playing Battlefield 4 and GTAO on it lol
In 2010, a 1GB graphics card would of still been reasonable, even if it was a lower tier card. I think the GT430 was about $80 US recommended price with the 1GB DDR3, so definitely not expensive. It's great to see how well the little GT430 still works, even with the updates GTAV has received over time.
i actually played this game on a gt 430 days back in 2016 .. i had one of those old monitors having 1366 x 768p res .... those were quite popular low end stuffs back then in my area .. i actually upgraded to a 2nd hand gt 430 from my gt 210 in 2016 .. and finally bought gtx 1060 6gb on 2018 .. and still using gtx 1060 6gb atm

6:32 PS3 RSX was based on GeForce 7800GTX, and Xbox 360 Xenos was based on X1800 XT, so yeah it was 2005 GPU, and Xbox One GPU was FirePro W5000, PS4 have similar performance to slighty overclocked HD 7850(or downclocked HD 7870)

GTA V is scalable True, but not 360 level of scalable, the 360/ps3 versions were completely different and if ported natively to this system spec it would run 60fps max, the old gen versions were less than 10GB in size, so the textures were like 256 or 512 max, no cockpits and less graphical features, the pc version even on lowest settings is still on par with the ps4/5 ports
This is better than ps3 as I remember, ps3 average fps is 25 sometimes drops to 23 on intensive scene on 720p ofc. but I don't know what fps is back then. I mean like 30fps and 60fps feels same on my eye, but nowdays 30fps is hurting my eyeballs and I prefer playing on lowest settings with 60+ fps than a 4k highest settings with 30fps on every games that I played
That would pair nicely with a Ryzen 3 4300G so you can call it project 43 , just don't forget to connect your display port to the motherboard not the gpu 😅
Disabling the shadows doesnt get you banned from GTA Online, I played it with no shadows for around two years on a Dell Latitude E6420 and had no issues regarding that (asides from framerate but shhh)

my old gpu xD I used to play like this with Core2Duo xD at around 30fps.
Why don't you use the scaling option in GTA 5? With that the interface is still 1080p, only the graphics are 900p or lower.
