We need further render distance for mountains.
And the In-Truck Navigation System should show data like remaining kilometers and time just like the F3 Navi.

it's even better just to have an option to include route advisor into truck multimedia. Imagine just driving and be able to see the messages, truck damage etc in the little screen. there are no mods for this and I searched hard and long. It would be one of the best quality of life changes in game for people who want as much immresiveness as possible
@@maggot3134 For real. I play with a vr headset and so don't use the HUD, but that makes it impossible to see route details. The dashboard is already dynamic with a bunch of info so why not implement a proper infotainment system with music controls, truck info, route info and more nav route info
The updated version of the game 1.50 is disgusting. In an effort to improve and soften some aspects of the graphics, the developers, unlike version 1.49 of the game, have made the impact of rain on the windshield so minimal that you can refuse to use wipers even in the rainiest weather. But also the guys (developers) did not fix the old problem when the headlight effect is not displayed during rain or fog in the daytime. It feels like the developers have decided to go the arcade way.

Нужно помнить, что Euro Truck Simulator 2 и в основном его игровой движок уже 10 лет. И всё же они все еще обновляют игровой движок, который уже 10 лет. Возможно, я бы хотел увидеть Euro Truck Simulator 3 на движке Unreal Engine. Но кто знает.
@@LuigiCotoceaграфика вполне приятная, производительность при этом очень высокая. Сейчас полно игр где используют крутые движки с млн+ технологий и 4к текстурами, где по итогу на выходе мыло с артефактами и 20 фпс

@@LuigiCotoceaне надо. Движок всегда можно обновить (привет тундре, у них тоже свой движок), а Unreal так то не бесплатный, и им надо отчислять баблишко с продаж.
Плюс, ETS3 - это получается надо всё карты снова переделывать, как официальные, так и неофициальные, по типу ProMods

The new UI is an ABSOLUTE SHIT. Previous UI was way better. Please roll back to previous one or improve the new one. The ui now doesn't fit this game.
EXACTLY. I've been playing the game since 2012 and now its time for some constructive criticism, the ui does NOT fit the game. they made look from a professional simulator game to a crappy simulator game when its not. and moreover I don't know whats with them using this ugly font that appears on Fandom.

@@michaelprox1172 I know right... I dislike the new design so much, I haven't been able to play for like even 15 mins at a stretch even for a single day! Since the update, I played just once and quit in 5 mins or so...
Its not bad, but a new engine would be better. It's 16 years old already.
and then players will complain about getting lag spikes and low fps. my gaming laptop from 2017 is still able to boast 50 - 70 fps with high settings.

Игра несомненно получила хорошую графику, сколько можно оттягивать прогресс и тянуть хвосты из каменного века. Игра должна прогрессировать, и получить новый движок. Слабые системы ПК не должны стать помехой для улучшения. Однако после обновления 1.50 я всё же остался разочарованным некоторыми деталями игровой механики. Что именно мне не понравилось? Первое, это камера с видом сверху, по умолчанию клавиша "2" неужели нельзя было её поднять выше над кабиной? Из за низкого расположения не видно дороги спереди. Далее. Боковое раскачивание при полной настройке жёсткости амортизаторов, физика просто ужасная! Разработчики вынуждают игроков покупать дорогие гаджеты, которые многим в мире не то что не по карману, а заставляет изымать деньги из семейных бюджетов, это не допустимо! Механика, физика игры отталкивает миллионы игроков играющих на клавиатуре и мыше ПК. Рекомендуется разработчикам тестировать свои игры не на продвинутых системах, и топовых гаджетах, а на простых семейных ПК которые доступны для большинства пользователей! У вас ребята очевидно сбились ориентиры. За столько лет от создание этой игры ЕТС 2 вы не принесли ни чего существенно нового, только меняете качество графики, и вносите DLC. Одни и те же карты, одни и те же грузы, одна и та же дорого много лет. Игра держится на плаву благодаря заслугам, и стараниям Моделистов. Вас много лет игроки просят добавить улучшений в сферу обслуживания, салоны, кафе, автомойки, пачкающуюся технику, голод водителей, добавить совместный прогресс в онлайне, кооперативе, совместный автосалон. Вы ни чего из этого не добавляете, полностью игнорируя игроков. Добавили этих ИИ камикадзе, и окончательно испортили игру, потому что как бы игрок не старался ездить по правилам, разработчики исключили подобную манеру вождения, заставляют получать урон от наглого трафика. И ко всему прочему вы обрушили экономику, потому что не просчитали доходы, и расходы. Разработчик к сожалению сам толкает игрока на использование читов, и другие сторонние программы для улучшения финансового положения в игре. Я играю с перерывами в вашу игру с версии 1.36 и прекрасно вижу все внесённые изменения, как в механике игры, так и в экономике. И к сожалению я как и многие другие игроки остаюсь разочарованным. То что вы должны были изменить в игре много лет назад, внести дополнения в игровой мир, вы не внесли, и продолжаете топтаться на месте. Спасибо хоть за какое то подобие хорошей графики, а что там ещё? А ни че го! Игра теряет популярность, и набирает негатив.

Day by day, SCS keeps amazing me and pulling me more in love with the game.
Reworked UI......something like ...... windows xp and 7 colorful and awesome UI to windows 10/11 dry flat thing..... !!!! pffff....... also this unified thing with concentrated options in a button, is always annoying..... in other words, you think you did something useful and good while all you did, is to cause a mess without a reason, as the current UI is already well made and convenient. Such details after every update, made me more and more to play this game maybe 1-2 times per year from daily since 2013.......this and the fact that you want people to beg you in your forums for actually useful additions and solutions to bad visuals etc.
No thank you... will not spend more money in this game, you have rich fanatics to do that. You don't need me, i don't need you.....all good.

Personally the new UI isn’t for me, but regardless, amazing update, there should be the option to switch to the old UI if you want in case you don’t like it

After this update the brightness of the game get so low, i can not even see the screen. Please fix it
Hello, I have some ideas that I would like to see in this incredible game.
These would be some:
1. Get out of the truck and explore
2. Close the window curtains
3. Another way to sleep in the truck (change the way from just pressing "Enter" to using the mouse and pointing to the bed that is inside the truck and with the left click sleep, but at that moment send three options to sleep by a short, medium or long time, then an animation of the character waking up due to the noise of the alarm at which time the screen darkens for 2 seconds *with movement noises in the background* and appears on the steering wheel ready to continue the trip).
4. Load or unload more realistically, honestly the current way is to apply for a job and drive.
I will show you the different ways to get a job or a charge in another way:
- Quick job: Accept the job as normally done in the game but with the difference of appearing outside the truck with a list of delivery and destination information (as shown in the game but in the character's invisible hands).
- Transport market: This option would be the same as in the game, but the detail is that when hooking the trailer the player must go out to connect the cables and lift the trailer (the player will only have to hold the left click to upload it).
- Merchandise market: When arriving at the company to load the trailer, the player must get out of the truck to open the rear doors of the trailer (I am aware that there is not only one type of trailer, this option will only be available if the player has the possibility of doing it himself, this function will not apply if the trailer has more compartments), once everything is loaded the player must move the truck a little to close the trailer doors.
I would like to add that I would like to see an option connected to this to check the status of the truck and trailer wheels (showing a small message checking the status of the wheel from 0 to 100% damage, this option would connect with the idea that follows continuation).
5. Burst tire: It is simple, if the player checks the tire, and it appears that it is in a state above 70%, but he does not give it importance and decides to drive in this way, there will be a 50% probability that it is burst or not.
Information about this option: If the player bursts tires during a delivery or on the way, they will have the option to request a mechanic to solve this problem, the time of this option will be deducted by 2 hours (in the game).
6. Dirty truck: The truck can get dirty when driving for a long period of time, in the rain it is more likely to get dirty, in places where there is a lot of dust it can also get dirty, to wash the truck it would be appropriate to add specified places to wash the truck (the washing would not be done by the player, the option is to show a brief animation of the truck being washed).
7. Load the fuel with your own hands: That's right, the old way is unrealistic, this way is more realistic (also the information about the gallons of fuel and the money to be paid will not be displayed in the small window on the right, This time it will be shown directly from the machine the player will be using to fill the tank).
FACT: PLAYERS IN CONVOY MODE WILL ONLY SEE THE AVATAR WHO IS INSIDE THE TRUCK, IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT WILL BE ABLE TO SHOW THE PLAYERS A PHYSICAL BODY.
SINCE THE IDEAS THAT I AM EXPLAINING HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH A CHARACTER OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE.
These would be some ideas that can be used to add more realism to the game without having to adjust new graphics or redesign some visual details.
(All ideas must have the option to activate or deactivate)

None of this will happen. All the ideas you mentioned are completely out of scope for now. You don’t understand how a studio like SCS works. They have a lot of important things to work on, for years and years to come. They will never waste resources on moving curtains and bed animations. I’m sure they are following a structured plan and implementing ideas that make sense to implement. They don’t just wake up on a Tuesday morning and decide to deviate from the plan and add useless things 💀😂. They barely have enough people to dedicate to work on buses, let alone work on your ideas. It will never happen.
getting outside the truck is more fit for ets 3 or sth it wouldnt fit into the current game
The new UI is actively painful to look at. It looks like a UI you would find in cheap shovelware RUclipsr bait, not a polished game like ETS2. Why? At least give us the option.
oversimplification is one hell of a beast. when I saw it online I thought people were using mods until I saw it here. I'm even more disgusted with the font they use.
After updating ETS 2 to version 1.50, the brightness control stopped working in the game. I had to roll back the version of the game to 1.49, the brightness control works again in the game. There are a lot of flaws in the new version of the game! Please fix it.

It is incredible that Euro Truck Simulator 2, which was released 12 years ago, will be in 2024 with new details and graphics. It is nice to see that the developers update and improve the graphics, maps, engine, add new locations and cities of the world. Thank you for this incredible experience, SCS Software. We look forward to more updates from you. I play with pleasure, feeling like a truck driver.
Where Renault?
There are unnecessary fps drops in the city and traffic vehicles behave very stupidly. While driving on the right, they turn left and suddenly brake in the speed lane. They brake while overtaking and cause an accident, you need to correct the traffic.
I want to return to old interface with 3d icons
just wait till they make an improvement, add an option or if someone makes a mod for it, that's all I'm waiting for too.

It's a huge map , that'll take 2-3 years for completion probably they'll never do it or update it in small sections in regular intervals.
All Visegrad 4 countries (Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary needs an upgrade. They were the first new countries in the first DLC Going East.

Sorry, but the new user interface looks atrocious and cheap. At least re-use the old coloured icons and add to those if needed. Much easier to distinguish what is what.

My name is Geovani and I am a player of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and I would like to suggest an update, signaling the change in speed limit on the GPS, as on numerous occasions, it has happened to me that I cannot see the sign and receive fines for exceeding the speed limit. , even though after passing it, the limit appears on the GPS, but it would be much better if we could see this limit on the screen, before we even approach the sign that indicates the lower speed limit at which we are traveling in a certain part.

Big perfomance problems. Sometimes you shouldn't leave the right way and break your game. The engine was fine so it is very hard to play.

I don't know about others but I'm not a big fan of the new user interface, I like the old and classic interface.
That new shadow map update might be worthy because this flickering might now be very much less, which would mean ... "maybe" its also gone in VR. That was the one major issue I had with VR because it drives me crazy when there is a flickering aliasing.
On the other side: I hope this update wont break my Steamdeck performance ;) Seariously I just got used to play ETS2 on Deck since 3 days and have a blast with it. I hope its not gone now ^^

What a worst update this aint 1.50 this is called dog poop its just a small differrence of graphics update and plus you really mess up optimization you made it lag on my rtx 4050 laptop because of poor optimization now i reverted back 1.49 its much better than this new crappy art update. Ill go to 1.50 once you fixed all the optimization issues and make mod work for 1.50 without issue!

SCS could insert more trucks at the time of loading and unloading, there could be a queue, to do these things, it doesn't make sense, to have only 1 truck loading and unloading, it's not like that in real life we know that.

Now we just need a quality of life update, like the ability to select all tires or wheels when modifying your truck so you don't have to do each individual wheel on the trucks and trailers. Maybe for the lights as well. Looks like a great update and looking forward to the tandem trucks and trying out the electric trucks in the future! Keep making the game great!

reverted back to 1.49..Not worth it to update for now. Promods dont work, 99% of my mods dont work, i see no point in keeping a stock 1.50 that doesnt even bring any crazy changes tbh
