I took care of following things: no logistic charges, no hypothecation charges, no resigtration commission charges, for that we should know break up of registration charges like MCD parking, tax bracket car price falls in etc .. always ask for registration charges breakup from dealer as they tend to mix up things there .. additionaly I got cash discount of 60k on 2019 model .. 30k exchange bonus and 5 year warranty on Amaze S CVT .. overall on road price of 7.65 lac in Delhi ... I hope shared enough details here .. thanks

I also had bitter experience with TATA dealership. I am a defence personnel and contacted JKR Tata motors at Kangra and Surya Automobiles Hamirpur Himachal Pradesh for Tata Tiago car. Both asked me for additional charges of Rs. 1800-2000/- as CSD file charges. Later Surya Automobiles renamed the charge as handling charges. The other charges like insurance, RC temporary number, High security number plate of both these dealerships, although from the same state, are different. They also bluntly insisted that I have to get my insurance and RC from there respective dealership only, otherwise I will face problem later on for claiming insurance or hiring surveyor in case of accident. If after being a Defence personnel I am facing such malpractices, god is the only savior for civilians. Sadly I had to drop the whole idea of purchasing a good car of TATA. TATA has to look into matters like this. Their customer care also say everything but doesn't do customer's care. ( Vocal for local 😂😂😭😭). Finally, decided to buy Hyundai Car.
Excellent video. Recently I wanted to book Altroz and experienced the same in one of the dealers of Tata Motors of West Bengal. I took a stand and declined to pay all the charges which you mentioned in your video. After a week the owner of the dealer called me and settled the matter with me & agreed 100% with my terms and conditions. Usually we go to the car dealers with our family enjoy coffee and listen all the story what they present to us. These dealers cut our throats smilingly. This video will be an eye opener for many buyer who visit car dealers as if they r visiting a departmental store for weekly purchase. Great video keep uploading such. Thanks.

Dealers get extra benefit at two ways
1) at the time of additional charges like our friend mentioned in this video
2) at the time of service
Dealers will Loot us in many way at the time of service. No dealers keep transparency. Company should give some attention in this matter.

I booked this month altroz XZ petrol variant on road price for 8,77,000 in (tuticorin:susee dealer)Tamil Nadu.Is that price is reasonable?

An excellent useful video and an eye opener for any car buyer. Recently I had been to TATA MOTORS for Altroz XZ petrol. All these unnecessary charged were waived off by the dealer like handling charges and AMC etc. Then I told them that insurance I will purchase online and Road Tax I will do of my own since my friend is a RTO. The sales head and the owner of the Dealer requested me that they will do the car insurance but at my price that is I will show them online what lowest insurance quote I am getting the same amount will be charged from me but the insurance will be done by TATA. As regarding Road Tax the owner said I will pay only the amount ( I opted for life time RT) which will have the Government Receipts. So I agreed but unfortunately because of lock down I had to change the idea and I cancelled my booking.

Same thing happened with me when i went to buy Bajaj Pulsar 125 neon. They charge me extra 3758/- for handling charges etc, so i complained this matter to bajaj customer care and the dealer refunded me the same amount.

Really appreciate your efforts in bringing this to customer. Have gone through multiple videos on Tata product and everyone talks of poor customer services from Tata. But your video factually clarifies on loopholes
I have a similar experience in one of the showroom (Thane). The sales guy was very adamant on the handling charges and registration fee additional. Even to justify the handling charges, he was quoting the handling charges of Nexon which was around 10000 rupees. Finally i purchased a ford freestyle, I didn't pay any handling charges, no extra registration charges (apart from the normal registration charge). Even I bargained with him regarding the insurance quote, the dealer offered me what i was getting through online. To summarize Companies are never bad, but customers are always trapped by these stupid dealers. One thing which is still missing the customer connect by the can manufactures. They must try to connect with their potential customers.

An article was published on Aug 12th 2020 stating dealer charges have been removed. But if you notice CAREFULLY, the Ex showroom prices have increased.
Nexon XE: Rs. 6,99,500 (Earlier 6,95,000)
Nexon XZA+ (O): Rs. 11,34,500 (Earlier 11,20,000)
Earlier you could negotiate for removal of those charges, now it has become non negotiable -_-

Fortunately, this handling charge issue was not faced by me. But based on your video, I availed cash discount instead of purchasing costly accessories.
I required 4-5 visits to showroom to understand the charges 😁, they are written and explained in complex manner.
