After an upgrade from Indica to Nexon 3 cylinder Bs6 phase 2 petrol I can confidently say that vibrations are minimal. Never felt like a tractor as indicated in the Caption. Riders should feel the car and that is felt when we will have a bit of Vibration.
Imagine all cars going at 80. 5 star cars have a chance of keeping the occupants safe or atleast just have injury. All Hyundai and Kia cars will send you to God at that speed.
Not not in case of seltos and vitara .my uncle made an accident with a bike but surprisingly his car is Nexon . And that tragedy occurred at a speed of 60 . His fingers are broken , head injury 🤕 and he lost his sense for about 21 hours. And yeah it saved our life but the repair cost is about 3.5 lakh. Now he have to pay from his hand coz police seized his car

I rear ended an RTC bus @80kmph with my tiago and nothing happened except the bonet bent, the panel above left front wheel misaligned and the left headlight broke. Not even the radiator leaked and the impact hasn't reached the chassis. I drove 600+ kms (hyderabad-visakhapatnam) after the accident to my hometown. I guess an s-presso will barely be able to move incase it hits anything @40kmph. And yes I do agree that the new gen vw group cars are far ahead
@@SachinJavsen I guess u haven’t read the comment properly. The accident happened at 80 kmph and not 40. I was @110-120 kmph and it was raining which is why even though I braked hard (used hand brake aswell) the abs kicked in and I was able to make the car come to not less than 80kmph

My friend met with an accident at 120 Km speed. He felt sleep and car rolled twice. Both the passanger was barely injured. Both of them were shocked but survived. I have Maruti car and barely touch the tempo at 10 km speed. The damage reached upto the engine. I have seen multiple accident of New Tata cars especially Nexon and there is barely any damage to the car. Mahindra and Tata really make good cars. Noise is not so much of concern.

I own a Nexon ZXA model (2018 last). One month back while waiting for signal in a highway near Kovalam A tn ton truck rear ended me and onlookers say lorry was at about 60-70 kmph. Car thrown forward and hit Scoda 2012 waiting ahead of me. All three vehicles got damaged with me taking maximum hit..luckily all four of us family in the car escaped physical harm, but for mental torture from the incident.( truck driver was drunk). Comment please on safety.( car is being repaired and will be out next week I hope )

1 ltr is indigenous 1 Ltr engine 3 cylinder turbo which is equivalent to 1.6 ltr cvt and more reliable than 1.5 ltr DSG 4 cylinder engines which are prone to failure.. and believe me the repairing costs are insanely exorbitant.. and finding engine parts is different ball game altogether..

I driven both of them.. u can do the same.. also less to maintain.. I can easily pass 140 n the engine won’t rattle like you said.. as I said earlier if you are ready to accept the tantrums of a notorious DSG then go ahead.. my friends 2016 skoda octavia has problem in its megatronic TPU plate (TPU plate goes on megatronic unit) which helps in changing gears.. He is not able to find in India & has to change whole set up expense going 1.5 lakhs.. so now iam sourcing that plate from China here and will courier it to him..

Machine with no sound in not what I like. For two wheeler I have an old Royal Enfield Bullet Classic, beleive me its only because of the sound I am keeping this with me. Bullet with no sound is useless. ..Therefore sound is not a concern for me. BTW I have driven Nexon petrol Bs6, many times, one of our family member own a Nexon. I loved this vehicle from many aspects.... If a tractor sounds like a Tata Nexon then its good for tractor owners....😂Check my DP with Nexon. But yes I am a fan of Ford cars specially Figo TDCi. But with companies like Ford, VW, Skoda and with Honda there is a safety concern of LEAVING INDIAN MARKET without notice ....😢

Sir good content on safety.. from this i understood that 1.5L engines are balanced in refinement and safety. But it suffers higher tax rate say 48% . Will it be better to uae 1.2L NA as against 1.5 for city use
It's better to go according with ur financial status. Every one will suggest u tata . But if u want safety with comfort with low running cost and save more on tax in car then u have to go for car with length of less than 4000 cm , engine power of less than around 1400cc and in this segment only brezza come in my mind .
I have virtus 1.0 AT topline. All safety features are present ,same as virtus gt variant. It's a good daily driver for me and the 1.0 litre engine is quick and fun to drive as well.
Good but its 19+ Lakhs on road now...they have increased the prices alot ...despite of the turbo, 1ltr 3 cylinder engine doesnt make sense when you pay more than 19lakhs for a sedan with known quality issues like AC, squeaking noices etc 😢
@g1y3 no have test driven it.. I was quite impressed with slavia and virtus when they were priced around 17-18lakhs...but now 19plus is too much for them specially after the aggressive pricing of Elevate
@@g1y3 interior is still on the good side , given that VW sure has done some cost cutting in these new cars. Creeking noises are nil. Some plastic noises are there "only sometimes" because my car is parked outside in sunlight . Those noises are due to expansion and contraction of the interior materials. I think any car might do that due to prolonged exposure to heat.
Personally, I'll never compromise passenger safety for a few kmpl gain in fuel efficiency, engine refinement and resale value. Human life is sacred, and crash tests are a credible marker of car safety for passengers. Yes, speed does matter in accidental damages. That's why crash tests are conducted in standard conditions which forms a level playing ground for all companies. Maruti needs to make safer cars, there's no two ways about it. Brezza is a good start. Also kudos to Tata and Mahindra for raising the standards for safety in Indian cars in terms of chassis and sheet metal strength - something only German brands (and Ford) offered a decade ago. Although, they have a long way to go in competing with Japanese brands in terms of fit, finish and refinement, they've shown impressive growth over the past years. Lets be critical of Maruti where it's needed, please. And safety is definitely one area which no alternative theory can cover up for them.
Grand Vitara is 2nd gen. Scross & wholely a Suzuki platform. Scross name was not used. Platform is same as of Brezza or 1st gen scross or international Vitara awd.
I am happily driving ford aspire for last 5 years, 1500 CC 4 cylinder engine TDCI. Amazing build quality & engine performance. On highways I get mileage of 20+ with 4 persons seated with AC. And the silver lining is the torque of this engine , you can go from 0 to 40+ without pressing the accelerator, the car has its own mind & accelerates as and when you shift in higher gear. Its really unfortunate that Ford had to move out of India. I really hope that skoda & VW survive our resale and kitna deta hai mentality.
Elevate wld be a 4 or 5star rated SUV where as Creta is a 3 star SUV.Choice is yours..u want more features and mileage then go for Creta.If u want safety and comfort then go for Elevate.
Sorry but this time comparison is not fare if you are using picture of Nexon. best alternative for nexon is xuv300 any day.. however skoda vw has different audience who don't worry about resale or high maintenance.. elevate is good allrounder if buyer is feature savvy. Just my thoughts

Venue S or Nexon XMS or Breeza VXI... ? Please suggest .. budget is around 10 lac only.. breeza doesn't feel premium and also costing above 10 lac... but still confuse.. planning to buy for long term
Nexon XMS is a better package overall.. one fresh suggestion, u may also have a look at Hyundai Exter SX variant, just compare it with other options as per ur need. Value for money wise you may find some answers there too. Happy hunting 👍
You said rightly. I don't prefer Tata and Mahindra because of vibration,cabin noise , non smooth ride quality ,low nbh etc. Ford,VW ,Skoda,Jeep are the best cars available in our indian mkt. Even Honda and Toyota. This is my opinion after using many cars in the last 25 years. May differ from others.
My car neither have airbags nor abs ebd traction control speed alert system etc, but have seat belts that i use without miss, drive carefully and never feel unsafe!!

3 cylinder engine always has more noise everyone knows that but it is fuel efficient Not expected this kind of mis information about nexon from you I own two altroz I agree it has some noise but it gives 16kmpl in city ride with full ac on. Has some noise and initial jerk but it almost vibration free while running. Also after changing spark plugs with NGK iridium jerks almost gone and engine has become almost quite and more fuel efficient. You are also saying about speed limit and performance simultaneously that is confusing. Always drive car within speed limit and it is also true that you are driving in speed limit but others not and collided with you safe car may save you in that condition but not unsafe car like spresso which will Sandwich you.

High speed definitely increases risks, but even in the US, speed limit on highways is 60-85 mph (95-135 kmph) and most cars drive at that speed because its less safe to driver slower than the rest of the traffic. Newer cars here have more ADAS and safety features by default like blind spot monitor, pre-collision alerts, auto-braking etc. In India, there should be more public awareness (buy safer cars), adherence (seat belts, lane discipline, watch blind spot over the shoulders) and focus on building safer roads.

But my Nexon left his soul after accident with a bike at 65. Interior was totally damaged but in front Bonet destroyed and some engine parts also .
At 40 KMPH, all cars can avoid accident including Tiago because if you break hard car stopping distance is less or car stalled at same place early.

1 ltr is indigenous 1 Ltr engine 3 cylinder turbo which is equivalent to 1.6 ltr cvt and more reliable than 1.5 ltr DSG 4 cylinder engines which are prone to failure.. and believe me the repairing costs are insanely exorbitant.. and finding engine parts is different ball game altogether..
It seems 1.5 is more smoother, so pay 4 lacs more for it is justified 😛

I driven both of them.. u can do the same.. also less to maintain.. I can easily pass 140 n the engine won’t rattle like you said.. as I said earlier if you are ready to accept the tantrums of a notorious DSG then go ahead.. my friends 2016 skoda octavia has problem in its megatronic TPU plate (TPU plate goes on megatronic unit) which helps in changing gears.. He is not able to find in India & has to change whole set up expense going 1.5 lakhs.. so now iam sourcing that plate from China here and will courier it to him..

Always very nice review... Appreciate your efforts to bring quality contents for viewers..... I own a Ford Figo TDCi and engine in not silent, but I love the crusing sound. Machine with no sound in not what I like. For two wheeler I have an old Royal Enfield Bullet Classic, beleive me its only because of the sound I am keeping this with me. Bullet with no sound is useless. ..Therefore sound is not a concern for me. BTW I have driven Nexon petrol Bs6, many times, one of our family member own a Nexon. I loved this vehicle from many aspects.... If a tractor sounds like a Tata Nexon then its good for tractor owners....😂Check my DP with Nexon. But yes I am a fan of Ford cars specially Figo TDCi. But with companies like Ford, VW, Skoda and with Honda there is a safety concern of LEAVING INDIAN MARKET without notice ....😢

It's better to go according with ur financial status. Every one will suggest u tata . But if u want safety with comfort with low running cost and save more on tax in car then u have to go for car with length of less than 4000 cm , engine power of less than around 1400cc and in this segment only brezza come in my mind .

Its not about the Engine Noise, some noise can give u feel of a CAR. Turbo noise, Roar of engine they are magic in some cars.

I have virtus 1.0 AT topline. All safety features are present ,same as virtus gt variant. It's a good daily driver for me and the 1.0 litre engine is quick and fun to drive as well.

Good but its 19+ Lakhs on road now...they have increased the prices alot ...despite of the turbo, 1ltr 3 cylinder engine doesnt make sense when you pay more than 19lakhs for a sedan with known quality issues like AC, squeaking noices etc 😢

@@g1y3 interior is still on the good side , given that VW sure has done some cost cutting in these new cars. Creeking noises are nil. Some plastic noises are there "only sometimes" because my car is parked outside in sunlight . Those noises are due to expansion and contraction of the interior materials. I think any car might do that due to prolonged exposure to heat.

Personally, I'll never compromise passenger safety for a few kmpl gain in fuel efficiency, engine refinement and resale value. Human life is sacred, and crash tests are a credible marker of car safety for passengers.
Yes, speed does matter in accidental damages. That's why crash tests are conducted in standard conditions which forms a level playing ground for all companies.
Maruti needs to make safer cars, there's no two ways about it. Brezza is a good start.
Also kudos to Tata and Mahindra for raising the standards for safety in Indian cars in terms of chassis and sheet metal strength - something only German brands (and Ford) offered a decade ago. Although, they have a long way to go in competing with Japanese brands in terms of fit, finish and refinement, they've shown impressive growth over the past years.
Lets be critical of Maruti where it's needed, please. And safety is definitely one area which no alternative theory can cover up for them.

Grand Vitara is 2nd gen. Scross & wholely a Suzuki platform. Scross name was not used. Platform is same as of Brezza or 1st gen scross or international Vitara awd.

I am happily driving ford aspire for last 5 years, 1500 CC 4 cylinder engine TDCI. Amazing build quality & engine performance. On highways I get mileage of 20+ with 4 persons seated with AC. And the silver lining is the torque of this engine , you can go from 0 to 40+ without pressing the accelerator, the car has its own mind & accelerates as and when you shift in higher gear. Its really unfortunate that Ford had to move out of India. I really hope that skoda & VW survive our resale and kitna deta hai mentality.

You want six air bags with fragile chassis or two with iron build chassis. TATA is providing safety in entry level cars but sadly people expect refinement at entry level. Tata has come a long way and producing best cars now with topmost safety level with 5 star safety rating.

I own two altroz I agree it has some noise but it gives 16kmpl in city ride with full ac on. Has some noise and initial jerk but it almost vibration free while running. Also after changing spark plugs with NGK iridium jerks almost gone and engine has become almost quite and more fuel efficient.
You are also saying about speed limit and performance simultaneously that is confusing.
Always drive car within speed limit and it is also true that you are driving in speed limit but others not and collided with you safe car may save you in that condition but not unsafe car like spresso which will Sandwich you.
Sir maruti toh bike se bhi takra ke toot jaati hai so they are not safe atleast as of now. Yeh bilkul sahi baat hai ki safety speed pe depend karti hai.

High speed definitely increases risks, but even in the US, speed limit on highways is 60-85 mph (95-135 kmph) and most cars drive at that speed because its less safe to driver slower than the rest of the traffic. Newer cars here have more ADAS and safety features by default like blind spot monitor, pre-collision alerts, auto-braking etc. In India, there should be more public awareness (buy safer cars), adherence (seat belts, lane discipline, watch blind spot over the shoulders) and focus on building safer roads.

Sir, please compare apple to apple and not accident conparison at 40kmph and 80kmph, though we understand what you were trying to imply. Safety is the most important factor one should consider. Abroad, people first see safety along with other bells and whistles. Highways are getting faster and safety is increasingly getting important, that is why there is a speed limit. In India due to budget and other mentality people go for a to b transportation and might not be able to buy and maintain high end cars above 10 lakhs. Govt. is doing its job of mandating in bringing in safety features. Some people just take such videos as fanboys of this and that. Your money, your family, choose wisely.
