I remember when I was first getting into baseball (circa 2010), Prince always used to destroy my team (the Phillies). But even then, I just absolutely loved watching him blast the ball, and even now, I can watch it all day. One of my absolute favorite home run swings; damn near every time he hit a home run, it felt majestic. Breaks my heart that his career ended earlier than it should've because he was absolutely on a HOF path.
I miss watching the guy. His retirement announcement in a neck break with his kids was soul shattering. Insane that the force of his swing ended his career.
That was a Hall of Famer right there. I don't think 600 homers, 2750 hits, and even 500 doubles were out of the question. Career cut too short man, damn. Reminds me of David Wright in that way. That boy could rake, straight up. I hope he's happy with family now.
Well he didn't do any of that. Extraordinary talent but his weight and conditioning kept him from those numbers. So yes obviously all of that was out of the question.
NL Central fans from like '05 to '10 were spoiled with first basemen. Brewers had Fielder, Reds had Votto, Cardinals had Pujols, Cubs had Derrek Lee, Astros had Lance Berkman...Adam LaRoche was even decent for the Pirates.
can't say I miss seeing this guy step up to the plate against Cardinals pitchers. forgot just how explosive that swing was, but I certainly didn't forget how far he could hit em.
Cleanest post swing batdrops ever. Also amazing that he changed literally nothing about his swing/setup his entire career he's taking the same swing every clip here.
Yes. He was only 32 during his last season. He only needed 2-3 years of good baseball to get past 400 career home runs and 1400 RBIs. If he had, say, another two years of average baseball after that, he’d be around 450 home runs and 1500 RBIs. That would be enough to get in.
I don't really remember his brewer days, he had some great years. Then he signed that huge contract with the Texas Rangers, hurt his neck or back then poof, career over.
The crack of the bat on that first one tho 😳
Jeez, I had to replay it😹😹
@@Wasabeazme too! 🤣
Shit echoed like crazy in that empty ass stadium
Baseball Tonight, Prince Fielder and Ryan Howard…what a time to be alive
Clicked on the video for the title, stayed for the memories. I was at the game where he hit 3 dingers. One of my favorite players.
the greatest title to describe a great hitter
I was at the game at 1:53, I feel like back then every time he came to the plate you thought he’d hit a bomb
watching him and Miggy hitting back to back homers was the best feeling as a tigers fan
He was so bad in the playoffs. One of the reasons Detroit traded him for kinsler.

Wish I was watching baseball when he was a Brewer
It was a fun time…baseball was the best back then.
It was pure entertainment. Him and Braun were unbelievable. They had a great support cast too
@@offtourdon Forgot about Braun! That was a crazy team!
My fave brewer when I was a kid. What a flashback!
Prince and Jeremy Burnitz had the most exaggerated swings in mlb history. Looking like they’re trying to hit the ball into the next galaxy 🌌

he was a beast. one of my favorite players growing up.
That was fun.
Make Baseball Great Again.
Manfred out now.
The Son of Prince was absolutely murdering those baseballs
His Dad parking em on the roof at old Tigers Stadium. Priceless.
I've never seen someone swing the bat as violently as Prince Fielder did.
lmao love the title and the first 2 seconds of the video bro. I got exactly what I expected when I clicked XD
one of my favorite players ever
I just want to say, that I saw "piss missiles" and absolutely lost it. Spit out my food. Hilarious.

That walkoff against Colorado was a fuckin TATER
I remember watching his pops back in the 90s. He could hit like a MF too
Absolutely
Prince Fielder no doubt hit some of the longest home runs I’ve ever seen. He was insanely powerful!!
can't say I miss seeing this guy step up to the plate against Cardinals pitchers. forgot just how explosive that swing was, but I certainly didn't forget how far he could hit em.
This dude had a hyper violent swing and did not get cheated😬😯

I hate that injuries cut his career short! He would have had a field day if he played for the Yankees.
I’m watching because it says “piss missle”. I haven’t heard that phrase in a while!
he was fun to watch in Detroit, good memories
Liked before the first crack of the bat. Great title
Would Prince Fielder have been a Hall Of Famer if not for his career-ending neck injury in 2016? Part of me feels like he would have.
Yes. He was only 32 during his last season. He only needed 2-3 years of good baseball to get past 400 career home runs and 1400 RBIs. If he had, say, another two years of average baseball after that, he’d be around 450 home runs and 1500 RBIs. That would be enough to get in.
Yes he wouldve hit 500 homers very easily and probably wouldve retired a year or two ago maybe even still be playing.
How did he injure his neck?
No. He was already steadily declining by 16.
@ he was hurt in 14 and really good in 2015. He had already done most of the work he just needed a relatively healthy 30s and he’d hit 500 homers easy
The fact he ended his career with the same amount of HRs as his pops 🤯
The Stromile Swift of the MLB
Just like his dad
really like the name of the video and the channel name as well
Don't know what a piss missile is, but I know Fielder was a monster.
Fielder hit dingers primarily out of fear of having to run the bases.
i think about fielder and his vicious swing every day
The king of moonshots
Good to hear Mario and rod again
legendary
my goat !
Watching this clip makes me realize that Milwaukee absolutely hates having their dome open, but is demanding MILLIONS to have it repaired?
There's obvi better homerun hitters than fielder, but his launch angle in otherworldly.
the old FSN scorebug 🥺
Future legend? if so what year?
Piss missiles 🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀💀
I don't really remember his brewer days, he had some great years. Then he signed that huge contract with the Texas Rangers, hurt his neck or back then poof, career over.
zero lies told in title
I miss prince on the tigers
He could've hit 500+.
Channel name🔥
Should’ve been a brewer for life but we have a cheapskate for an owner
I've never heard someone say "piss missle" before, spelled or pronounced incorrectly, in the context of baseball.
Seeing him in any other jersey then the brewers just doesn't look right at all
The worst post season player in MLB history.
