      Red Pill Vegan thanks for acknowledging that we are real doctors. When people simply dismiss a chiro for being a chiro it kills me, most are idiots anyways there’s plenty of other reasons to dismiss them rather than stopping to just saying they are a chiropractor 😂

      Jessy Glaub - Sadly I was GREATLY misled by a chiropractor back about 6 years ago in terms of nutrition. It soured my taste for them.
      But when I injured my neck I took a recommendation from a friend and went back (to a completely different practice) and can not say anything bad about the profession except that the nature of our health crisis has led a lot of them to offering weight loss services - which, when combined with the supplement sales that go along with it - often make up the majority of their revenue.
      But I can’t blame them... people come and want weight loss. No One knows who to trust or what to eat, the American public is confused and nutritionally confounded by conflicting messages.

      Strawberrysmoodie I would have to disagree. I rarely if ever eat fake meat and I make my own almond milk. Vegans don’t need to rely on substitutes. Substitutes are actually relatively new to help people who are transitioning to plant based.

    • @LaLa-nn7lg
      @LaLa-nn7lg 4 года назад +26

      Strawberrysmoodie the thing is being vegan isn’t about health so substitutes don’t have to be healthy 😂 people don’t eat vegan pizzas and ice cream for health. Those things are indulgences just like everything else. And just fruit and vegetables 🤨 you’re forgetting about all the whole grans, seeds, nuts, beans and legumes etc. There’s a healthy and an unhealthy way to be vegan and someone who is vegan is free to choose whether they consume substitutes or not 🤷🏽‍♀️

    • @user-nf5ut9g1y
      @user-nf5ut9g1y 4 года назад +1

      @DriftZ TwoSeven First of all, DriftZ TwoSeven, I'd strongly recommend you to read or listen to The China Study by T Colin Campbell, hopefully that will help to sort out your confusion about protein as an essential macronutrient and more specifically that from animal sources. There, by the way, beyond explaining why animal protein is not good for our species, Dr. Campbell addresses exactly your point regarding skewed and biased science. Secondly, being lean doesn't equal being healthy just as lots of smokers and drug addicts aren't. Thirdly, there's a DIFFERENCE between carbs. Complex carbs from whole plants are as good for us as refined simple carbs mostly in junk foods are bad. Very, very important point to remember and not to mix those two together. And lastly, TMAO, IGF-1, HEME IRON, ENDOTOXINS, CHOLESTEROL AND SATURATED FAT. If you look them up in the latest scientific research, that might put you off your meat for good. If not, keep chasing the final 0.00000001 % proof if you think that 99.9999999% of science against eating animals is not good enough for you. But I'd have thought that the overwhelming body of evidence that animal protein is detrimental to our health is sufficient enough to leave the poor creatures alone and wholeheartedly embrace the food that we have always been meant to eat, namely, whole plants. Just common sense.

      Maybe you should talk about the real culprit here, which is sugar. The USDA said that you should eat more carbs and low fat. The main population have followed that and now we have increased obesity, increase type 2 diabetes, increase heart issues. There is your proof. Maybe you should focus on sugar and processed food.

    *Disclaimer I am not biased towards vegans or ketoers
    Videos likes these genuinely makes me confused because both sides make claims that make me think. I have been both keto and vegan and even both at the same time. I am no doctor just some random guy trying to choose a healthy lifestyle and genuinely interested in health and nutrition.
    I’ve learned that you can be healthy doing both, i lost 25 pounds as a vegan and gained some muscle. But when I was Keto I lost 35 pounds a lot faster while also gaining muscle and strength at the gym. And I felt amazing doing both. I have also ate unhealthy vegan junk foods towards the end of my 1st year as a vegan and gained back all the weight I lost ( I take full responsibility on that ). As well as the same goes for keto I ate “fat bombs” snacks all the time and gained some weight back.
    At the end of the day I just try to be as balanced as possible and do my best now to stay away from as much processed foods as possible. My family line has amazing genetics and my family from both sides have lived into the 100’s before passing away and they were not vegan, they were not keto. But they also were not stressing about this stuff and lived in the DR where all fruits veggies and meat is prepared organically with none of the crazy stuff we use today in everything. I love my greens I love my fruits, i still eat meat and I still have junk food every now and then but nothing like I did before. What I do know is that All my inflammation issues I had before I even started any of these diets are completely gone and I feel amazing now. and I can perform at an advanced level in the gym and with my friends playing sports.
    I appreciate and enjoy these videos and I glean as much as I can from both sides without trying to be biased. I just genuinely want to be healthy. I don’t hate vegans I don’t hate keto I appreciate that both sides have helped different people with different circumstances. And I undertake that the debate of keto vs vegan will go on for ever. just dropping in my 2 cents until then I’ll be watching and reading every single RUclipsr “debunk” each other and see contradiction studies on everything we put in our mouth!

He was just critical about some cherry picking data used by filmmakers in order to prove their arguments. He believes that both carnivorous and vegans can be healthy which i agree.I think that what makes the vegan diet so special is not any partcularly health benefit, it is the ethical and philosofical premisses behind it related to animal sentience.

Eat meating is like constantly consuming battery acid, eat enough of those acid- forming foods like meat and the hair follicles will eventually die off and the hair falls out. Dr. Robert Morse has had great success with his patients re-growing hair when they have gone to the fruit and herbs. Fruit and herbs regenerate whereas animal products cannot and do not.

Further more in living it I know I'm healthier because I feel healthier, gamechangers merely confirms what I feel and no vegans are not taking a ton of supplements, you'll find meat eaters in the body building world take a shit ton (a vegan that does take supplements got that habit from there). Btw real world problems should be about human AND animal suffering.

      An extreme case but becoming more common as industry lobbies to speed up production lines. Animals are a mere product, what for are they concerned about suffering except when being forced to. How much goes on that we will never find out about
      As for supplements, I’ve been use chronometer lately, a calorie counting application that keeps track of numerous nutrients and has shown me plant based food easily supplies abundant levels of everything so my evidence isn't just anecdotal though there are plenty of vegans who will testify to such. Workouts these days are packed with power unlike the sluggishness I used to experience on a keto meat diet I'd been on for several years. B12 I do admittedly take sublingually but in case you weren't aware, the older you get the less efficient people will absorb it therefore meat eaters can and will be deficient in it as well and will need to resort to such in time.
      If the video above didn’t pull a heart string then I question your morality and ethics and would have to wonder if you really do have a sister who is vegan

    Eh, sorry but Ekberg still more persuasive-because he is more inclusive and encourages personal vigilance. I think he’s pushing for personal balance through a more a Whole30 approach, which is essentially to understand your own very unique inflammatory and metabolic triggers, and to focus on whole food, not processed stuff, heavy on fructose, corn, and soy. I realized after the Whole30 how badly my body reacted to ordinary grains, like oatmeal and dairy. Sugar and fructose and starch altogether another challenge. I’ll keep my balanced, fairly low-carb approach, with emphasis on cruciferous vegetables, leafy greens, mushrooms, nuts, and whole eggs. I’ll also nix dairy, except for sensible amounts of grass-fed butter and ghee, and I’ll stick with the occasional grass-fed meat or fish, especially when I feel my body needs it. My family has been vegetarian for generations but we’re cursed with heart disease and lately, we’re fielding an epidemic of diabetes. Part of it has to do with our shifting lifestyle, food availability, and definitely food choices. Vegetarianism or veganism apparently doesn’t always guarantee you like vegetables.

      We are in our 70s and gave followed Dr. Ekberg for two years. We each list 45 pounds and have lowered our triglycerides and increased our HDL. Our A1C levels are both normal and our fasting insulin has come down along with our HOMA-IR scores. I know our inflammation has come down as well so much so that I know longer use a cane or walker to get around.

    Lmfao, did he just try to use the teeth argument? I thought he'd hit a low when he was like "maybe cloudy blood is good, we just don't know!"

    Somebody using a whiteboard is an instant red flag it seems. It makes them look professional without having to show studies for evidence.

      Because it's true?
      We also have bicuspids instead of flat grinding molars. 200,000 years of genetic history doesn't lie.

      @@ciaranra1 just leave them with their plants. You can not reason with them anyway. They have a right to eat what they want. People arguing on what freaking gladiators ate. Everyone is very sensitive nowadays because they are not up to the task to kill to eat. Release all the cows, lets see how many plants they will leave you in 10 years.

    You should write a book stuffed with info debunking anti-vegan arguments. I would buy it at the drop of a dime.

    I became totally vegan after watching the movie What the Health about 8 months ago. Everyone knows that the way to good health is to eliminate all fat, cholesterol and salt. When I go into a supermarket I first check the ingredients of the processed food item to make sure that there are no animal products in the item. Then I look at the nutrition box to find out how much fat, sodium and cholesterol is in the item and then I select the item with the lowest numbers. There is no need to check for sugar or carb content because there is absolutely no fat in sugar. So you can have as much added sugar that you like. For my 5 servings of fruits and vegetables I purchase a couple of bottles of orange drink. Then all I have to do is have 5 drinks per day to be getting my 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.

    It's obvious that he was suffering from major thyroid problem, with the lose of his hair. The sides he has the pre-stub, but not the top.
    My question is what causes excessive blinking?
