That's one tough buggy Troy. Sure handled the tall grass without any trouble too. Lots of competitors in budget RCs these days is really great for us as consumers. Thanks for the test.
Agreed, Troy. I bashed mine hard in my review and didn't break anything. I'm actually impressed with how hard the tires are but how well they grip on the loose stuff. I like how you showed the community the droop screw set up. Another great video.
Awesome review on this Troy. As a matter of fact I think it’s my number one purchase of Rc’s this year. I don’t have any jumps quite as big as yours , but if I did, I would of sent it too! That was awesome! It’s a really well built buggy. I say Rlaarlo and MJX are raising the bar for budget Rc’s!👊🏼👍🏻😎
This Rlaarlo has certainly made a name for themselves with their speed demon everyone was into and now this. It makes you wonder what they are going to bring out next!
Hopefully, a 1/10 scale. It will really test durability as the models get bigger and heavier. The small 1/12 scales are usually tough because they are light and do not have much leverage on impacts.
@@robinkesterlives Yeah I just got the AK 787 and it's so fun to drive even as a street basher it handles really well. Does excellent power drifts even with one hand on the controller and the other holding a camera it's effortless to drive fast and hard. It holds power drifts without the tail washing out. I'm impressed. What I'm not impressed with is that they advertise all their cars with an unattainable top speed on the box then in fine print, you have to buy a bunch of upgrades that cost twice the price of the car. Any manufacturer can claim that but it's unethical for beginners who don't understand thinking they are going to take home a 200mph car.
@@robertshelton2605 yeah, you would need a dumborc receiver with gyro too. Anyway, this car is so stable that I don't think it would even need a gyro :-)
Great vid Troy, very informative. I recently got into rc (2 months ago and I already have 3: hbx 16889, sg1603 and the zd racing ex 16 is on the way 😂) I'm currently looking for a rc that could easily run on grass ( for my kid and the dog 😂). I was set on the rival mt10 but now that rlaarlo looks good too and seems like it can handle grass. Any recommandation on which one I should get for the grass? It can be another model too
If you already have those other models, I would say it is time to step up to the next level. These are great and fun vehicles - but getting you into something like an Arrma 3S lineup would be my next suggestion.
@@RoadsideRC any one in particular you'd recommend? Keep in mind that the grass at the park is not always cut short and id really for the dog to run after it without the car getting stuck. (Yup i know i'm a lazy dog owner sometimes 🤣)
Hi ! Thanks for your video and tips! Which one would you choose between this RMAARLO and the MJX Hyper Go 14209 ? I feel like the MJX has better/tougher steering component. But the RLAARLO has a slip differential ? Thanks in advance for your reply
@@RoadsideRCThanks. I am strongly considering it. I know WLtoys aren’t that durable and this Rlaarlo is supposed to be related to Wltoys. But it seems very durable from the videos. A big plus is the hex screws, and not Phillips like MJX. It also has better quality tyres and adjustable shocks. And the droop screws as well.
@@RoadsideRCMJX is 32cm while the Raarlo is 41. I thought that maybe the size of 41cm is not realistic because the tyre in the back ads to the length. But seeing them in videos. The Raarlo seems quite a bit bigger. The tyres are very big on it for it’s size, maybe that’s why.
Great Review ! All Smiles on this Rig , I want One
Glad to be a bad influence! :)

Agree 100%!!! These things just keep getting better! Some of the mainstream competitors better watch out!

Yes - this seems like a very solid truck!

Yup another on my list of wants. Reminds me of the lasernut so much.
Yes! But perhaps more durable then the Lasernut!
Another great review. Can't wait till next live stream hope i can keep my phone from overheating 😂
Ha! Yes! I need to get that on the calendar in the next couple weeks!
Radio is a re-branded Dumborc transmitter. Binds with their receivers if you want gyro
Thanks!
Maybe I'm wrong but the rlaarlo transmitter has only 4 channels so no control for the gyro.
@@RinkaiKouen You are right. I found
But you can bind it to the channel 6 Dumborc transmitter.

Very cool Troy i like this one may have to grab one up.Great review as always bro👊
Thank you!
This is my favorite rc car right now. I like to drop the power to 50-60% and pet my 5 yo rip it around. Thrn i crank up the power to 80-90% for myself
It really is a great truck! Rlaarlo did a really good job on it.
Amx12 or this which is better?
This is MUCH better than the AMX12

@jysgameplay3701 Here is my thoughts on them: ruclips.net/video/EYyNnaoa_FM/видео.html
I didn’t know about the EX16. Why is it so much more expensive than SG/Udirc drift cars?
looks a cool truck nice to see a good manual and parts lists too oh yeah we like FAST goes well all good then
*thumbs up👍Au💯full viewed😀*

I have not driven that model from MJX, so hard for me to say directly. However, it would be hard to beat this model from Rlaarlo.
Can you tell me the tire's outer diameter in mm? Thanks, bro. Nobody seems to go over full specs anymore and the website doesn't list tire diameter.
Sorry for the delay, I've been out of town.
Tire OD is right around 100mm.
It’s a little spaz Manian devil 😈
Ha! That should be the new name!
Looks like this one is much better than their last Truggy based on the 1/14 scale buggies
Yes!!! 100% agree. They are continuing to learn.
Is it any better than MJX 14209/14210? It looks like it’s bigger. The MJX has CVDs.
Sure seems like a different design. Without them side by side, it is hard for me to say which is better.
All I can say, is this one is very solid.

Lol i lost a turnbuckle my first drive too
Spray the tires with CNC brake cleaner, and they will soften up.
I ended up not really having traction issues - they did pretty well.
CRC??

Yes - similar in some ways.
