Been blessed never lost anyone close to me aside from my grandparents but they were all 80-90 when they died....I dread the day I lose my parents or siblings.

You can tell he loved Jack deeply and he still felt immense pain at the loss of him. Seeing a big, strong, tough man almost brought to tears makes you feel his pain too.

At 17 I was in a bad car accident & I saw heaven too. While I can't wait to get to heaven...I want to enjoy the life here on earth that the Lord gave me. I enjoy the sunrise & sunset....I enjoy my walks with nature & watching the animals in their home. Yesterday I went to our local state park with my husband & walked the trails.....we saw three humming birds flying around some flowers that looked like tiny orange orchids. I tell y'all if you haven't went for a walk with nature you're missing out.

I’m 21 and just this past July I almost passed away in a car wreck myself. I swear in that hospital bed one night I passed but got woke up like life had been thrown back into me. It was all the sudden just bam I shot out of my sleep but it wasn’t like waking up. It’s so hard to explain but regardless before waking I swear I just saw nothing but white and something said you’re not ready. While I’m like you I’d love to see heaven but I’d also like to enjoy the rest of my time here on earth. I struggle with depression but I still try to enjoy the little things in life when I’m finding myself in the gutter. I try to look around at everything I have and just be grateful I have it cause someone would kill for it. I try to talk to my family as much as I can because I know some desperately would love to see theirs together. I’m glad you survived your car wreck and have been able to live your life.

Johnny Cash's books are excellent - The Man in Black, and The Man in White. Well worth reading. Mr. Cash was a genuine person.

He not only lost his brother in this terrible accident but he was wrongfully blamed for the brother’s accidental death. So painful. I’d imagine that was part of his path to substance dependence.

It's an interview about his book. He tells the story. It's a beautiful story to share...almost makes me believe I heaven. How's that bad?

But when he asked a question, he shut the fuck up and let Cash speak. Most reporters don't do that. Kudos.

Disagree. God wasn’t surprised by Jack’s death and nothing happens outside His will.

This was a time where people, no matter the age, weren't lazy and ungrateful. A time where children had to help feed the family. A time where people weren't laying on their backs, popping out babies produced by multiple fathers, just so they can receive EBT and welfare. 🙄
