Seriously the best days are the ones with Becky in it. The worst is when they are over seriously would easily sit and watch a two hour video no problem.
I've only been watching for a little under a year but since then I have gotten a kitchen aid mixer, got the pasta attachments, made homemade pasta for the very first time, made homemade ranch, made homemade brown sugar, and made the most amazing pie crust from scratch (that my family absolutely loved for Thanksgiving)!! ALL because you have been such an amazing inspiration! I would never have done any of those things in the past but watching you has renewed my love for the kitchen. I'm so grateful to have found your channel! We just love you around here Becky!

I bake all our breads, constantly learning and taking in new tricks to learn from her. She is amazing. I just love watching and trying.
I found Becky when I was looking for a tomato soup recipe. I made her roasted tomato soup, and it's the best thing ever! I've also made her dinner rolls, and want to make vanilla. I also bought a bunch of seeds and want to start a garden next spring.
I’ve gotten the electric canner, 30 Quart stainless steel bowl, and 30 quart stock pot, and the Ball canning book getting HTF!! Plans for more! Please place the CO² detector down close to the floor. It doesn't work up at the ceiling as CO² falls to the floor not like smoke where it rises to the ceiling. I used sell the stuff and the fire dept told us this info so when I see this anywhere I can't help but inform people so they can avoid issues because of an incorrectly installed CO² detector.
Why would anyone have a CO2 detector unless you are adding CO2 as plant food? She SAID CO2 but I think she meant to say it was a Carbon Monoxide detector. CO2 is plant food. Carbon Monoxide is a poisonous gas that will kill you in large amounts. They are very very different.
I think this is true for the radon detector too. When you test for radon the test is placed 3 feet from ground, so maybe its a heavier gas and best detected at lower levels. I have a house that has a mitigation system running continuously in order to reduce radon to safe level. So wise of you to be aware and take action concerning radon. Many blessings to you and prayers for baby's anticipated arrival.

This is for the radon detectors where they should be placed. I get it that most don't want multiple units of detectors in their house but if it's not going to be accurate because it's combined with something else that has a differing level of where it sits then it doesn't help. I don’t want to put any pressure on you to share the life of your baby once they arrive… but I did want to tell you that you have been so inspiring to me (I’m a mom of two and a full time homemaker) regarding house projects and cooking and gardening. I find myself thinking often when I watch your videos “man I wish I had all that kinda time to focus on those projects”. But I don’t in this season of life with two under 2. I’m looking forward to seeing how you balance being a mom with all the things you normally get up to in your videos. 1) I want to encourage you that it’s ok to not be able to keep up the same pace once the little one gets here. And in fact I’d encourage you to lean into the slowing down. I spent a lot of time anxious about how little I could get done with a newborn. Looking back I’m disappointed I had such crazy expectations of myself and I find it’s a very common thing with new moms, which can lead to doubt and ppd and trouble with breastfeeding and everything! I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. 2) I’m hoping that, when you find your new rhythm with the little one, that you can be transparent with your viewers about just how you’re juggling everything! I always look forward to your videos but I had no idea that my daughters watch you too. The night before Thanksgiving they asked me if I could make your biscuits. I did, and they turned out beautifully! It turns out they have a mental list of your dishes that they want me to make lol. I'm so impressed--I had no idea they paid attention.
Get them in the kitchen with you. They will need to know how to do those things too. And then they can "lend a hand" efficiently for you and for themselves. You can have a Let's Bake Like Becky" day with them!
Oh my Becky you did a fantastic job ... the dinner and setting looked so inviting and beautiful. We can all tell how much you enjoyed having your friends over with your smile, you look so happy and beautiful. I have to agree with Cassy Street, we never get enough of your video's :)
It was sooo fun watching her put together a Friendsgiving from start to finish. I'm anxiously waiting for some baby prep. I can't believe it's almost baby time. I'm sure Christmas decorations are coming soon too. What an exciting time ahead.
I almost cried while watching this (100%Gen X, dead inside, not a crier, so…….rare!). When you pulled those gold glasses out of the cupboard, I INSTANTLY flashed to my grandma bringing my grandpa a high-ball (a drink that I have NO idea of the ingredients) when I was a little kid. My gramps has been gone for 17 years & my grandma is 97 & still living in their home on her own. I miss him so much & these weird little random memories are EVERYTHING!
When you were setting the table I noticed you have a window seat - which iis great for seating!!!!! You could have a thick cushion made to fit it, or make one yourself to sit on and lots of back cushions in a variety of sizes and shapes, And you could change the covers over the years for seasonal accents, some solids and some patterns. I have collected pairs of really nice napkins and used them for the centers of pilliows all over my house, and change them out to keep from getting bored. all the best, fun being with you.
Becky: I don't know how to make a beautiful charcuterie board! Also Becky: *proceeds to make an insanely gorgeous charcuterie board* 😂 lovely video as always!!
How lucky they were to be able to sit in your home and dine at your table. As I watch you, I often have to remind myself that you are a young woman who has so much culinary knowledge! God bless you, Becky
Becky your enthusiasm is catching. Love how you get excited to cook, even though it may not come out how you want it - 'that's ok' you use it for something else, nothing to waste. A real homemaker. Your Cheese board looks delish. Glad the evening went well❤️
Becky, your large cast iron skilled looks like it's rusted, you may want to re-season it. If not the rust taste comes through to the food. The table is beautiful and the food looked amazing.
Hi Becky. Greetings from Chicago! Your charcuterie board looks yummy. I bet some of your delicious caramelized onion/fig preserves and a tiny bowl of spicy or grainy mustard would compliment the fatty, salty richness of the nuts, meats and cheeses you have chosen. This Friendsgiving seems like a big hit. God Bless and Bon Appétit!
Hi Becky I just wanted to send a msg of love and support. You look absolutely stunning in this video. I really connected with you when you spoke of your body troubles and pregnancy. I myself am not pregnant but recently lost 110 pounds and still have about the same to go through gastric sleeve surgery. Your recipes and videos have been a hugeeeeee comfort to me over the last 6 months as I have gone through surgery and the body changes. Your videos are so inspiring. I often share video bits with my boyfriend who is telling me I should start my own RUclips haha. I wish you and your family the most beautiful holiday period with your new bundle of joy. May god continue to bless you abundantly ❤️
If you're looking for something to do with your new card table over the holidays, my neighbor had a great idea. She bought a Christmas jigsaw puzzle and left it out for the length of the holiday. When people would stop in for a visit, they'd spend some time working the puzzle. By the end of the season, the puzzle was finished with everyone contributing. Your table looks lovely! As always, the food looks wonderful! Have a great time with your friends!
I love seeing how you do entertaining. I love hosting (but let's be honest, it can get overwhelming!) and have used quite a few of your tips and tricks to make it so much more fun!
Becky really makes entertaining look easy. I think that she learned that from her mom. Love these videos it definitely makes the thought of entertaining less daunting.
One of my Families favorite breads is Focaccia and yours looks perfect!!! If you want to make it again chopping up Olives and Sundried Tomatoes and kneading it in then hitting the top with Rosemary and some Sea Salt is excellent too.
Becky every time you use that cast iron pan,you have to clean it and oil it before putting it away.prior to cooking again, make sure to wipe the pan out, checking for rust, you don’t want to eat food cooked in a rusty pan, and you don’t want to poison yourself or your loved ones
Lovely, Lovely Friendsgiving Feast. You’ve done a spectacular job, and presentation all while being just about 9 months pregnant if not 9 months already. Rest now sweet pea and give yourself some grace. Happy Holidays to you and Josh and little nugget. 🎄🦃🎄🦃❤️
My daughter had a very inexpensive wedding so she could use the bulk of the money for a down payment on a home also. I was proud of her for that choice, worked out very well.
LOL Becky got an Epson salt addiction LOL Homie, I remember being so huge and pregnant the first time. I was 10 1/2 pregnant. I was in total nesting mode and moving furniture. I could not stand someone to tell me not to do something. BUT, watching you on that stool getting those glasses down almost gave me a panic attack LOL You go girlie! That bread looks amazing.
Best tip I got for cooking pinenuts (I do it on my gasstove): When it really STARTS to brown turn off your stove. Stir it while your pan is still cooling off and you have perfect pinenuts!
You look great! I’m so glad to watch this now, I’m being induced tomorrow morning and I’m so nervous so this is great to keep my mind off of everything I’m excited but so scared! Thanks for putting out these amazing videos!
How exciting for you. Before long you will have your beautiful baby. I was induced with my second and it was absolutely fine. Enjoy this wonderful time.❤
You are by far my favorite RUclipsr... I look forward to your videos! Your table turned out beautifully & what a great deal on the wooden card table! The food spoke for itself! 🤤 I remember in one of your videos you said that at times you had a body image issue.. I realize that this far along in your pregnancy YOU may not feel like it but Honey you're carrying this pregnancy very well. It doesn't appear that you've put on much weight...it's all baby & that's good.. I know parts of the pregnancy has been tough. As an outsider looking in you are glowing...Your due date must be rapidly approaching...Such a wonderful gift from God especially this time of year...
Becky, you are such a roll model to the younger generation. You are teaching the young ladies what a homemaker is and have turned it into a beautiful art! From the delicious food you create to every detail of your gorgeous home! So very beautiful!
Your carbon monoxide detector should be mounted lower around 5 ft on the wall. Carbon monoxide is heavier than air so you don't want to put that all the way at the top like a smoke detector. If this is a combo unit I believe you should mount it Midway in the wall to cover both situations
I know your friends had to have been very thankful to you and Josh for hosting them for such a lovely occasion and for all of your hard work. It looked like such a delicious dinner!❤ Btw Amazon has some small metal scoops that would be perfect for your epsom salts!
You are a fabulous hostess! I have never thrown a party where my kitchen was completely clean and dirty dish free before the party started - amazing! Not yo mention you did it all while being 9 months pregnant!!!
Haha looking at around the 34 minute mark, I love Orbit or Tibro looking into the kitchen like: Mom I want to be with you, why is this door closed, especially when you drop things!
I wish you could make a video maybe a couple times a month of the gifts you get in your PO BOX. I love the jars your friend had his salad dressing in. Thank you so much for sharing!! It's been fun to watch you get ready for your Friendsgiving!
Here in New Mexico, there is a season where people go out and actually pick the pine nuts. Also very time consuming as they are picked off the ground. But getting them and roasting them inside the shells is a real treat. A friends daughter once said "it's like a mouthful of heaven"!
You need to lightly rub your cast iron pan when you store it, that is how keep mine and you don’t get that rust look or taste. I noticed that before I don’t know if anyone ever gave you that trick. I enjoy your channel.
The charcuterie board looks amazing! Can't wait to meet the new baby! Seems like we have heard so little about him/her after you sharing your news with us! Hope you are ready and have all the things ready for the arrival! My daughter came 8 weeks early so thankful I had some things prepared!
Becky make sure you oil your pan with a little oil and paper after cleaning to season the pan so it doesnt rust. Never use soap as well. Clean the pan while its with hot water not cold water because it can crack
Warning!!! Your cO2 detector really needs to be close to the floor and definitely have one in the basement. cO2 and radon are heavier than our "air" and sink to the lowest level. Plz let your viewers know. I live in Colorado and have learned this repeatedly due to several families passing from cO2 poisoning. Love love love you!
*** You need to get you a couple of pairs of kitchen scissors for cutting & opening things. Using your knives will ruin them & also cause you to have to sharpen them more than normal. **
Becky, you should buy 1 more of the wooden card tables so that your able to extend the opposite side of your main table. Imagine how many more people you will be able to seat at your parties. I'm all about big gatherings..😁 just thought I would mention it!! And it gives you another game table for game night!! Win..Win!
Oh Becky those "girls" of yours are just like a family member or ornaments! 🥰 but I look forward to seeing them in your videos 💕 every time! Thank you for showing them & I hope your friends-giving was awesome. By the way, you look thinner (on face)❣️
Love FriendsGiving! We have been giving away seeds since Thanksgiving and tons more to come for Christmas... Glad to see this beautiful video. Thanks for sharing SoilSista ❤️
Everything turned out amazing Becky. You worked really hard and put a lot of thought into you little friend get together. I hope you took time to rest after. Take care until the next time ❤
Becky... please be careful with the oils. The peppermint and eucalyptus would tear me up in my lady bits area... sorry if that's tmi. Maybe use a small amount to see how it feels?
Every thing turned out so good and all your friends are cooks in their own. I think that both of the bread's turned out good and it looks like everyone had a great time that's truly what matters next will be your bundle of joy and I'm sure you are looking forward to seeing what you both brought into this world can hardly wait 💞🌹
You should keep your cast iron oiled at all times even being stored I saw a bit of rust on it if the rust gets to bad it will be a pain to fix just a FYI
For the first time ever I made up a charcuterie board for Thanksgiving . We have a big family, five married children & 12 grandchildren . What A big hit it was & how beautiful to behold . For Christmas I’m having it again as well as another with desserts .
We used to do a lot of entertaining and I bought an extra set for 12 of dinner dishware and silverware for 12 as well it was packed away with all my serving dishes. I'm just now using the , I've stopped entertaining due to an injury with long term effects. It's a great investment. We got all white dinnerware and a really nice set of silverware.
You make all this feel accessible. Showing the mess and dryer not iron and all the love you have for your craft makes me take a moment of pause to see if I can live more diligently. It makes me very happy! Thank you for your content and support!!!
Looks like your cast iron skillet needs to be re-seasoned. Anytime you soak it in water it needs to be dried by placing on stovetop on warm for 5 or so minutes a light coat of oil inside. I like to use Crisco.
Seriously the best days are the ones with Becky in it. The worst is when they are over seriously would easily sit and watch a two hour video no problem.

Oh my Becky you did a fantastic job ... the dinner and setting looked so inviting and beautiful. We can all tell how much you enjoyed having your friends over with your smile, you look so happy and beautiful. I have to agree with Cassy Street, we never get enough of your video's :)
The dog looking at her unwrapping the charcuterie board through the glass door had me dying!🤣
I love that your pup followed you around from room to room, lol that face in the window at 33:40 is great.
Becky: I don't know how to make a beautiful charcuterie board!
Also Becky: *proceeds to make an insanely gorgeous charcuterie board* 😂
lovely video as always!!
How lucky they were to be able to sit in your home and dine at your table. As I watch you, I often have to remind myself that you are a young woman who has so much culinary knowledge! God bless you, Becky
The Mason jars used 4 flowers would be cute if add a ribbon around the jar, especially if it matches your tablerunner...
We missed you yesterday 😢. Found out I was pregnant yesterday. First time so I’m nervous and excited!
Congratulations!
Congratulations 🎊
Thanks💕
I would love to see a wedding picture of you and your hubby❤
Hi Becky
I just wanted to send a msg of love and support.
Becky is so wonderful and kind and I love her cooking 🧑🍳
Foccacia looks perfect. Great bread for summer with fresh tomatoes, basil and Balsamic vinegar.
Becky climbs 😂 She usually just tells us not to worry.
We want your friends bread and salad recipe too, please! 😋
Well done!!!!.....but......set the dang timers!!!!!!!!!
You're gonna do great Lauren just keep telling yourself tomorrow the next day eh you only have so a few hours to go
Thank you!! I’m a first time mom so very crazy 😂
How exciting for you. Before long you will have your beautiful baby. I was induced with my second and it was absolutely fine. Enjoy this wonderful time.❤
@@Chrissyhappy thank you so much!
Oh goodness I pray your labor and delivery is a breeze!!!
You are by far my favorite RUclipsr... I look forward to your videos!
Your table turned out beautifully & what a great deal on the wooden card table! The food spoke for itself! 🤤
I remember in one of your videos you said that at times you had a body image issue..
Extra focaccia means muffuletta sandwiches!!!!!!
I love the black and gold theme for the table and the eucalyptus definitely added the right touch!
Foccaccia makes wonderful croutons. Make them 1 to 1 1/2 inches and top a good minestrone soup with them. Don't forget to add Parmigiano to them.
You can just put a damp washcloth in with your items in the dryer and it will get a lot of the wrinkles out. I do it all the time.
Win..Win!
The only thing I don’t like is that I don’t have a setting at the friend table!!! It all looks so delicious! Love from Montana ❤❤
You need to keep your cast iron oiled so it doesn’t rust like that between uses.
Pepitas would’ve worked well also. You should give them a try next time. They tie into the pumpkin since they come from the seeds. 😊
You look thinner. That is a good sign Baby is near. So glad you had a good friendgiving. Love to watch your show.
I love seeing your dogs in your videos and how they follow you ❤ They are sweethearts!
Such a great idea!
@@TheWyomingHomestead Thanks SoilFamily 💙 We want the world to grow their own groceries so we love Sharing what we have. Blessings
You are so blessed to have Josh help in anything, no matter if it’s to wash a cup, I can’t get my hubby do shit, in the 34yrs of marriage🤦🏻♀️
Everything turned out amazing Becky. You worked really hard and put a lot of thought into you little friend get together. I hope you took time to rest after. Take care until the next time ❤
Becky, I think you should trim the edges of the gray placemats. They look a bit tired, and trimming the tassels would give them a fresh look.
Becky... please be careful with the oils. The peppermint and eucalyptus would tear me up in my lady bits area... sorry if that's tmi. Maybe use a small amount to see how it feels?
Becky you should watch Country life vog this lady is amazing she gardens, cans, bakes, makes her own oven, everything is cooked out doors, ALOHA
Girl, you make me so nervous not using a timer.. I think even Ina uses timers. Lol. I hope you all had fun
For the first time ever I made up a charcuterie board for Thanksgiving . We have a big family, five married children & 12 grandchildren . What A big hit it was & how beautiful to behold . For Christmas I’m having it again as well as another with desserts
.
But will also add a chocolate fondu.
Your bread looked just as delicious as Josh’s friends,in fact I loved the crispness to yours it made me very hungry after watching your video lol x
I agree! Becky’s crunch looked SO GOOD!!
The best of the end of day is,laying in my bed and it's Beckytime💫
Turn focaccia into mini sandwiches. Cut each piece in half horizontally. A lot of bistros serve sandwiches on focaccia. 😊
Excellent job on your charcuterie board. You and your parents are so genuine it's worth taking some time out of my day to spend it with you all.
You make all this feel accessible. Showing the mess and dryer not iron and all the love you have for your craft makes me take a moment of pause to see if I can live more diligently. It makes me very happy! Thank you for your content and support!!!
The table was so pretty and inviting. Your food is always inviting. Loved this! Ty Beckie.
Looks like your cast iron skillet needs to be re-seasoned. Anytime you soak it in water it needs to be dried by placing on stovetop on warm for 5 or so minutes a light coat of oil inside. I like to use Crisco.
Becky, what a beautiful dinner you served for your Friendsgiving meal. Everything looked so amazing.❤
Becky, you need to learn how to season your cast iron skillet. It's fairly easy to do.
Love the eclectic collection of cups! They looked so pretty on your table.
I cook my broccolini in pan , hot garlic oil, chili flakes, sea salt, then when done, squeeze lemon juice over and serve.
