for anyone who wants to know the meaning, all it means is a grown man still relying on his mother for his daily needs like brushing his teeth, grocery shopping, etc.
The song talks about a man being dependent and childish. Throughout this song, Melanie mocks the man for still relying on his mother at an adult age and being unable to take care of himself.
I'm terrified of becoming like this one day. I am disabled, but still can do some things on my own that i don't simply because they are hard to do with my disability. I've had to repeat two grades, and i can't seem to concentrate on schoolwork, no matter how much i study.
My mom does evrything to me, and i feel so comfortable with that. But it's wrong.

For me, the song is about a men who is relaying on his 17 years old daughter for his daily task (my girl is super sweet, seventeen, no that ain’t a crime to me). She wants to leave the house because she is tired of being the "mom" of her father. For him, it’s just like she was dying (so mother, don’t you die on me). The family is very poor because the father don’t have a job, so the daughter have to work the night (so she won’t be called by her father) on small jobs. The girl did what she could to give her dad nice food, but because she was poor, she almost never got to do the grocery shopping. So, they had a lot of rotten milk. The men never liked the rotten milk and was always complaining about it. That was pissing of the young girl. The dad is pleading his daughter, saying that he will stop complain about the rotten milk ( rotten milk tastes good to me ).
Melanie is making fun of it by saying "mama" each time she meant the father calling his daughter.
