Nicky's got such silly OP-ish perks! Thats so funny BHVR actually just made Nicolas Cage into a protagonist with semi-plot armor.
So plot twist, unbreakable, flip flip and power stuggle. You go down early on a pallet when you have good distance and then they literally cant pick you up, and youll have full health

Otz is right for pointing this stuff out. I know we need more fun and goofy perks like this, but with how the community is it won't be long until they ruin it for everyone. Give toxic survivors/swfs an inch and they'll take a mile. :(

The fact a dude is already calling for Dramaturgy to be nerfed when Plot Twist is the strong one with no downside is crazy. It’s like whenever something fun is included into the game but it can be seen as slightly strong it’s immediately called to be nerfed.
I mean plot twist *does* have a downside, the fact that you go down and it shows that you went down on the left side is pretty bad, especially how you get literally the same effect with inner strength\healing except you dont down yourself, theres no indication to the killer and you get to do it 5 times instead of once throughout the match and once at the end
Like imo nic's perks are bad (but fun so I'll be using them) I feel like its another thing where people jump the gun and say "NEW THING OP" because its new so they dont know how to play around it, I mean while dramaturgy seems like old deadhard but for healthy, 1. Its effects are not guaranteed, you could get the extra speed boost (besides the first one) as much as you could get exposed, or scream, or get an item, and like even if we say you get the second speedboost or that the first is "enough" and *DONT* get exposed, its just about as op as sprintburst, its just sprintburst with extra steps, and theres this thing with sprintburst where you can mix time it and get hit as you activate it, but at least with sprintburst you still just get the massive speedboost, with dramaturgy you could scream or get a brown toolbox or exposed, one thing you dont get is invincibility frames like old dead hard, so you can be hit as it activates, none of his perks are going to replace stuff like DS or unbreakable or reassurance or anything lile that, they just aren't good (but they're fun, so use them anyways)
I think that's it, I'm not typing this reply to be rude or anything, just trying to kindly say why I think you(and others) are wrong about these perks IN MY OPINION and to give you a different view of it, if I'm wrong and somehow a nic cage perk becomes BROKEN OP PERK OF 2023 WILL WIN ALL YOUR GAMES FOR YOU YOU DONT EVEN NEED TO PLAY THE GAME then I will bite my jeans(fate worse than death) but whatever happens have a good day and thanks for reading this comment that is way longer than I meant it to be lol

I did some scuffed calculations on dramaturgy to determine that, In a chase, you buy yourself similar distance to old dead hard. The key differences are:
you need a .5 second startup, meaning you cant use it to react to a lunge.
The speed effect is only 25%, meaning a killer lunge can catch up if they’re close enough.
The effect lasts 2 seconds, meaning to get the full distance out of it for a window or pallet, you need to use it 2.5 seconds in advance, but in practice you don’t always need the full distance to be safe.
You need to be healthy, so the stakes are lower and acts less like a second chance, and more as an incentive to heal instead of staying injured (which is good)
The base 2 second sprint effect is basically just the old dead hard distance, with extra conditions making it harder to use last second, or when it impacts the killer the most.
The problem lies with the random effects. The scream doesnt really matter, the random item might be pretty strong combined with bringing your own item at the start of the match, but doesnt seem like a direct issue. Being exposed for 12 seconds doesnt mean much if the perk allows you to reach a pallet or good window. Not too threatening for the survivor, i feel like it can he a little longer.
I think the only real problem with this perk is the ‘25%’ chance of getting 2 more seconds of speed. This random chance as seen at the start of the video, has the potential to not just make it to the pallet safely, but also run past it, and make it to the window in jungle gyms. I feel like that’s a bit insane, but to be fair, maybe you can’t even tell you got the extra speed until after you should’ve dropped the pallet. So it’s a huge gamble, potentially making you exposed and not having dropped the pallet.
I absolutely love this perk, especially cause it brings back old dead hard’s distance in a way that’s very acceptable. The wacky random effects make it very fun to use. And i can’t wait for the moment i just fall over in chase cause i gave myself the exposed effect
Plot twist really doesnt seem that strong to me. It’s a telegraphed self heal that takes 32 seconds, can only be used once before endgame, can be hard punished by a killer getting a free hook if they know where you are. Making flashlight or pallet save plays with it isn’t any easier than just doing it out of a normal chase, except for being able to make sure you’re under the pallet correctly.
Using power struggle with it seems strong, but just like with other multi-perk power struggle strats, it’s often obvious to the killer and can be outplayed by just ignoring them. Or pickup mind-gaming them.
Overall it doesnt give any major advantage over any other selfhealing perk, and doesnt facilitate save plays that well. So its just risky
It is a complex perk though, so i might be missing something important

Dramaturgy needs to have the exposed status more common that or nerf the shit out of it lol, then theres a chance to get purple medkits and flashlights... That is insane lol. Saying this from a survivors side.
All effects can only happen once per game and you have a chance of screaming with no added effect so it's a risky perk to use. There's a chance of two bad effects and two good effects. That's pretty fair

Imagine crying for a MEME PERK to be nerfed, one that already has a 50% chance of fucking you over (extra yell with no effect, exposed). What should be changed is Plot Twist as it affects Corrupt Intervention.
@@weskintime4177 thank you for the correction. Even not being able to get it in a row is still fair. You still risk being exposed or just screaming instead of getting haste or a item swap. I think it's a pretty balanced perk with its pros and cons
