  • Digital Truth in an Era of Suspicion:
How the intersection of reputation, digital asset management, and proactivity can lead your organization through this turbulent era.
Defending against disinformation can be one of the greatest challenges organizations face. It can erode reputation, trustworthiness, and ability to attract and retain customers, staff, and supporters. Furthermore, it can spur chaos in virtually every department, including PR, legal, HR, IT, marketing, investor relations, and more.
This colloquium, presented by the Continuing and Professional Studies Department of the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information, originally aired on November 14, 2024 on Zoom, will provide ideas, strategies, and techniques for navigating the murky world of digital truth, artificial intelligence manipulation, deep fakes, and the brighter world of digital provenance and content authenticity.
    You will learn:
    • How to build trust in challenging environments
    • Proactively preparing for mis- and disinformation
    • What should be the role of digital asset management in your preparation
    • How to work with top management throughout the organization by knowing their varied issues
    • How to strike back if you've been affected
