Thanks. Yes I have all codes and paint for them. I restore bikes for customers also. This was a tidy up job really. I,m about to start another one. Something I do struggle to get is the headlight shrouds.
Nice work. Good video. Got a like from me and a subscribe. From someone who is about to start a restoration of a 1999 dt125r/blue some good footage here. One small bit of constructive criticism which is only my opinion, the front light, may look a bit better in blue but original only for me. Even the later re units I think they look nice front on but side on view is not good. Either original or yz race number plate for me. Good job with the seat cover and 10/10 on the painting. 👍
Hey. Thanks for the like, subscribe and input. Criticism is good, its what makes us improve. Your absolutely right about the headlight, I have 3 more to do that will be much better than this one with original headlights so look out for those video. 📹 😀 🤙👍
Thanks. No i was a bit stuck really without having an original in stock. I have an original on the one I've just finished. Video coming soon so hope you subscribe 🙂👍

Very good. Yes i am. My van is a camper without windows lol. I wanted to keep it as a van because there is not as many about. I will update a video including interior when i have done the GTI engine conversion.

I had 4 of them, very fun , i had 2 black ones with blue seat one of engines was gold coloured, was like a YZ , I killed a KX 100 on it, an I had a purple one with a cream seat an a white one with a red seat
@jasonchatwin6795 I've used motip before. You only want to paint the outer cases. Just clean the centre engine cases up and leave alloy. I do prefer using a basecoat and a lacquer though. Prime first.
I have a 79 DT 125. I'm probably going to star a rebuild on this winter. Nice video
Thank you. I have a couple more im going to do. Will make one special for myself 👌👍

@@Supercarlsunday I know , hard to find now
What paint did u use on the engine did u also use same paint on engine casings
I'm not sure on that one. It may have been base coat and lacquer out of the gun.
@@Supercarlsundayah ok I was thinking of using engine heat paint on the head and barrel but not sure what to use on bottom part of the engine

Is it 2003 yamaha dt 125,because i have got the same model as you, with this front light, and is it r or re model
I haven't got a clue what model it was. I don't have the bike anymore. I build and sell them. Is the re electric start or something?
@@Supercarlsunday yes re have electric starter
@ivanhorvat1019 it was a r model then.
The second the plastics flex all that paint is going to crack and look a complete mess.
It would take a real lot of flexing for it to crack, trust me, I do this for a living!
better if ya went customized get more money my 2000 fully built from ground up went for £4000
A lot of people like them as standard as possible. Its hard really. You may have been lucky.
