Wellington decided to march on Madrid.. forcing King joseph to abandon the capital and retreat to Valencia to join up with Marshall suchet. on 12 of August Wellington liberated the city..to scenes with wild celebratation. soult now at risk of being cut off from andalucia, abandoned the siege of Cadiz.. which have dragged on for two and a half years and march east to joing joseph and suchet. Wellington then march north pushing the French back at Valadolid and besieging the castle of burgos. but his army lacked heavy guns and the french garrison fought bravely. as powerful french armies gather to the north, and south. wellington was now in danger of being trapped. and had no option but to withdraw. wellingtons retreat turned into a desperate forced march through autumn rain. the supply system collapsed.. and many starving soldiers looted what food they could find from Spanish villages. Madrid was abandoned and reoccupied by the french. wellington was back where he started 5 months ago. but despite the campaigns dismal conclusion, his strike into spain had liberated huge sway of the country and left the French more overstretched than ever. reinforced and resupplied wellington will be back for the next year to deliver the final blow to Josephs spanish kingdom.

Imagined Davout was forced march his army 70 miles in 2 days (thats fcking crazy dude) Lannes was so frustated that the Emperor did not praised by the emperor, instead it was Soult, Lannes was so Furious he resigned and he returned to France And to Prussian Campaign, Lannes had also an achievement he destroy the prussian army at Saafeld, killed the cousin of the king of Prussia, and it Was Lannes who pushed the Middle prussian army in Jena.
