I just hand a glance at the first minutes of them, and it just shows that Ben is him. He fantasticly made the pose, the talk, literally everything is screaming about him that he is Astarion in this sketch.

There’s only 4 minutes worth of video, but in reality, they would have dragged it out to about 40 minutes. Throw in all the ads, and you can fill the one hour slot.

Believe it or not that effect isn't owned, it is achieved by adding "Bars and Tone" audio track over the audio you want to bleep in most video editing software.

in the old Baldur's Gate games we didn't have camp and whoever you booted from your party threw a massive tantrum and acted as if you'd gravely insulted them
That's why I preferred Icewind Dale (1). I created my party (looks shamefully around), and even wrote back stories for each of them, made them as married couples, with siblings etc.... ok, I get carried away a little bit with character creation... :(
@@warrenwiley5656 last time I played IWD1 I went completely overboard and wrote a full page of backstory for each character and how they fit together. If memory serves, the theme was "exile king and retinue". Honestly really added to the RP element of the RPG, had a lot of fun with it
In BG1 you could leave them in Friendly Arms Inn and they'd wait for you there to pick them up again.
I don't remember how 2 went down.
you could leave them anywhere, and they'd usually wait in the same spot until you return (if your rep differs too much from the character's alignment they might leave forever in some cases)
some Enhanced Edition-exclusive characters returned to the Friendly Arm, but nobody in vanilla
in BG2, they'd often go to a specific location, like the Copper Coronet or locations specific to them (like the Harper building for Jaheira)
You know Mage just leveled up and got fireball. That's why he got picked.

Sorry but wizards are the master class of BG3. Most utility, most firepower and most knowledge of the world. I am playing as Gale and he is carrying the team. Clerics and rogues are useful, but not AS useful. And then fighters are just muscle which is optional
@@CalvinJary Mage is definitely powerful AF. My personal favorite right now is Brawler Berserker, cuz the items that give bonus dmg to throws makes that build OP as all hell against single-targets. But, even so, Mage still takes it for AoE and utility. Ground effects alone are so OP. I thought Sorcerer would be my fav for sure, but it ended up being a huge disappointment, since Dual-Cast applies to so few spells.
@@CalvinJary my guy clearly hasn't seen monk/rogue with illithid powers literally 1 shot everything. I usually leave the rest of my party out of the screen so I don't have to deal with them during combat but they are their in case of emergency. much easier to just go with mc
Mages once they reach level 10 are so ridonculously overpowered, it's not even funny. OK they are a bit squishy but they can literaly make a party a powerhouse, luckily the mage xp in AD&D makes them hard to level up, but they are essential. I'd say more so than a healer with pots.
New guy who joined the party and is a higher level than everyone else, except his stats have all been reduced after he joined the party...

No matter who I choose for my adventure, I always end up feeling guilty for the ones I didnt pick.

BG3 in a nutshell. Each time I have to leave somebody back in camp it feels like betraying them. If only there were more roses.
What a difference to "Dragon's Dogma", where half the time I gladly throw my companions off a cliff to get rid of them...

The redundancy of the the first comments and the host's recap was hilariously spot on.
Very cool. The only thing missing was the commercial break conviently placed right before the last rose was announced. I was half expecting a mock-commercial to be inserted there.
Or heck, who needs a mock-commercial? Would have been the perfect spot to sell VLDL merchandise.

I love Trails into Reverie where your party pool gets up to 51 characters and you have a party of 4. Camp is a whole pocket dimension practically ready to build the village of those left behind.

Characters, acting, writing, costumes and especially timing (with "at the camp) were perfect. I find all the small details with facial expressions and tones and accents when speaking very hilarious (no over acting or such). Difficult to find right words here but you guys nailed this! Same with Poop McDinglefart scetch, great comedy!
