- In part 3 of our Mahindra Thar Early Adopters series we catch up with Dr Roshan Shetty. An MD of radiology, Dr Shetty has been at the forefront of the Covid-19 battle in Mumbai and uses his Thar to get away from the stress of his job. A bonafide sports car enthusiasts Dr Shetty also owns both the Porsche 911 GT3 and BMW M4 Competition but uses his new Mahindra Thar 4x4 to drive and explore remote corners of India. And also to get to his clinic in Mumbai during the rains and the floods. This is his story.

10 months of waiting period only the famous influencers/celebrities getting it early and the vicious circle for increasing price making it tough to consider the car. Booked the car in March and dealership still says December dispatch from factory.

or should i wait for some FACELIFT of THAR this year ( HARDTOP CONVERTIBLE ) ?

Fabulous... Thar is my favorite... I feel Thar Diesel is far better than petrol version, in terms of power, torque (in real world), Off roading, driving egile and etc., but I never tested it, I wish I will test it in future....

Great video...What you say about thar petrol manual. I think that's d best bet to drive on mountains as you can speed up as and when required especially when you are overtaking and all of a sudden require more power
How is the AC cooling for the second row seat? I’ve heard from a few that it tends to get warm with the hard top on the back seat..

He already told in the video that you've to be really careful while driving an expensive SUV on the contrary Mahindra thar doesn't cost that much plus repairs are cheaper and you can drive it carefree.
