The US is the only first world country that does not have community healthcare. In Australia if you have a heart attack you go to hospital, you get treated, operated on etc and you leave the hospital. You pay for your prescription. My mum at 93 was rushed to hospital after a fall, was treated in emergency. Was admitted to a ward and then spent 5 days with 24-hour care in palliative care for her end-of-life care; and they gave me a fold out bed next to her. There was no fee and the hospital was wonderful. We all pay a 2% tax for this privilege, if you are on a higher wage we pay a small Medicare levy. It's for the good of all.

I would take these cases to our in-house RMD ( Regional Medical Director) discuss the case and denial of treatment. 10 out of ten times our RMD would overide the opposing parties Denial and I would get the treatment authorized. If the opposing party would really study the case put forth to them them the cases would more than likely not be denied. Maybe having a RN/RMD involved with these medical decisions there would be less denials of treatment moving forward.

A family member of mine was denied healthcare that was needed to save her life, and her doctor actually went to bat for her up against the insurance company and was continuously denied for years. Due to her illness and lack of care from the insurance company she died in a horrible way and three months later and approval letter came in the mail for the Services that she needed that would’ve saved her life, but she was already dead so I understand the pain in the anger and the frustration but that does not mean murder is OK.

Imagine feeling sorry for a CEO that was literally headed to a meeting to BRAG to his investors the claims he denied to sick people that desperately needed that coverage that made them billions of dollars, this isn't about empathy ,this is a revolutionary thing and I believe the USA is tired and fed up 🤷‍♀️

It’s not lack of empathy, it’s a strong need for change. It’s never ok to kill someone but that seems to be the only way things get attention now a days we are living in sad times all this is crazy!

Sorry Sarah but people should not be checking in with their ministers. They are ones who voted for trump. We lost our right to say we are a civilized country when trump won.
