New 1966 figures are at SDCC. Toy Shiz has a Mcfarlane vid showing everything. That 7” West has a greyscale Platinum Chase and there’s a nice Wonder Woman from the 66 comic. There’s a reissue of masked Joker except he comes with the dehydrator backpack and gun. There’s also a Batman that looks like the Zur-En-Arrh suit from the comics. You’ll either love it or hate it. It’s very…..red. I personally dig that version of Batman but I didnt expect to see West in it. Provided that’s what that was then Im assuming it’s from the comic. There’s also a new West Batman statue shown.
Awesome! My Jokerized Batmobile was delayed hopefully it still comes I was able to get the Multiverse Batman from Gamestop surprisingly only place it was not sold out at here in states.
Nice additions Dean and you can bet the house on Toddy Mch releasing close to every character from the series, that’s how he does with the multiverse line,I for one like his figures 👍
Nice Batman figure! It's not often the Multiverse line comes with soft goods, so that's a bonus for you. I have about 8 Multiverse Batman figures and none of them have fabric capes. This might be the first time they've used fabric in the line. Not sure. Anyway, this is a cool looking figure, great head sculpt. I might have to get one myself. I would however be very surprised if the large import sticker comes off easily. They are often very difficult to remove. I always leave them on because they are a real pain. Luckily I've only ever had two or three on items I've bought. Great that you got these items so soon and ahead of the pack! 👍🐵
It is very rare for Mcfarlane to do fabric capes. The Michael Keaton figure's was fabric, but it wasn't wired. I think the only other figure to have a wired cape was Batman Year Two. Have you seen the Tumbler yet? Looks really nice! I'd like this, but I've found the Nolan characters quite difficult to find in general. There's going to be a Christopher Reeve Superman released soon, which would display well with the Adam West Batman.
@@stephengray8374 ooh, I will have to get the Christopher Reeve figure. My knockoff NECA one is terrible (see my video review for shocking details) I think I will have to get this Adam West figure too, as I do have a certain amount of nostalgia for the 66 show.
@@MonkeyboysToys Ha ha, yeah, I remember him. Shakin' Steven's! A brilliant video! I'm really happy they're releasing the Christopher Reeve figure, too. There should also be a Chase variant which might end up being the bad Superman from the third film. It'd be easy enough to give him a darker repaint, and an angrier head sculpt I suppose. Yeah, Batman '66 was the first Batman I remember seeing, so I do have some nostalgia for him. I think they will release the other characters but it might take some time unless they just go all out and do each of the villains from the movie in one wave.
Nice additions Dean this has been a really good line👌 I’d love to see McFarlane do a Christopher Reeves Superman movies set of figures… can you imagine having Nuclear Man, Zod, Non & Ursa in a Phantom zone gift box😮, a robot Vera Webster etc…and they could create the computer from superman III as a play set (like the bat-cave) Hope Todd is watching😉
It looks cool. I’ve got the other version of that joker. The cape is all purple. I was able to put all these retro figures into the Jokermobile from the cartoon, which McFarlane made too. I’m looking forward to that multiverse West Batman.
@@AllThings80s found him on Game Stop (still available). BBTS sold out within minutes after release, allowing 1 per customer! I don’t collect McFarlane because of this.
Hi Dean Great video and they are 2 more items that I will have to buy. I would be very surprised if they didn’t release more 66 Batman figures in this line as they got us hooked on the retro line it’s a great way of selling more expensive products.
I'm thinking that I'll pick up the McFarlane Multiverse'66 Retro Batman after seeing your review (happy to see that it comes with the figure stand), but I'm passing on the Joker-ized Batmobile (but I did pre-order one for my cousin on Amazon). I'm wondering how long it will be before McFarlane multiverse releases all the Retro '66 Batman figures in that line... 😅 Crazy how you went from being seemingly one of the last to get any of the new figures in-hands, to being the first. But I'm here for it and I love it!!!! Dying to see your Retro Batman set up in your display Dean. Thanks for the "breaking news" review. 🦇
@@MoparMcNeer Many thanks. It is nice to be able to get my hands on these before anyone else and a welcome change to how things used to be. Part of me kind of hopes that this ‘66 Batman in the Multiverse line is a one-off as I really shouldn’t be spending any more money on toys, but if they do release more figures, I will definitely find a way to get them. I’m still not in a position to start getting my displays set up, but I am thinking I might start with the Batman cabinet.
Nice one dean, yeah nice figures. maybe they did the joker car like batman's as the molding is the same so they only would have to change the colour and the sickers which helps keep the cost down. Thanks for the video rock & roll will..n.z
All the McFarlane Batmobiles are perfect for the 5-inch scale Super Powers line. I don't use them for the 6 inch scale, definitely too small of a car for that scale. I hope they do all the 66 tv show characters for the Multiverse line! That Batman is fantastic!!
Makes me wish they just did all the Batman 66 figures for the Multiverse line from the start. For the cheaper retro Batman 66 figures, do those in the Super Powers scale instead, heck I'd probably buy those too.
Nice to see that Batmobile, but not for me. The Batman figure has really good detail . But I've no room for it. I do hope Mcfarlane releases Commissioner Gordon, Chief OHara , Bruce Wayne & Barbara Gorden. .,
Idk why they even bothered doing the cape scalloping on the Retro figures if they were gonna do it so poorly. It would probably be more presentable if they just left it uncut like The Joker’s cape. Not screen accurate, but at least it wouldn’t look like someone cut it whilst having a seizure. The cape on the multiverse Batman looks infinitely better, as is to be expected.
I don’t know if anyone has said this to you before but the comic is excellent and really worth a read. Don’t want to spoil it but the last issue of the standard run is excellent and the best way to end a Batman comic ever! That being said, as someone who’s read the standard run and all 6 crossovers and loved them all, the comic figures in this run still seem like a step too far 😂
You can always get another carded jester joker and replace that figure with this new one and reglue. Mcfarlane’s figure stand are garbage. The figures can stand without them. I have all 500+ of the figures in this line and having 500+ of those stands in use would be a disaster.
Yeah, I’ll get that Multiverse ’66 Batman and any other ‘66 Batman TV figures he makes in that scale… but Imma skip that godawful purple Batmobile! Yuck! 🤢

I'm in two minds about it. Of course I'd like to see more '66 characters in the Multiverse line, but I really do have to cut back on the spending.

McFarlane is doing more cloth capes.
Thanks. The sticker really isn't that big of a deal as I'll likely be tossing the box anyway.
