Figured out the problem with mine, built it underground and the Y level of the portal was below 0. Moved the bottom of it to Y=1 and having zero issues now. Great design thanks.

This actually works so well when i tried it out! But i’m just curious, do the solid blocks have to be Smooth Stone? I’ve seen other tutorials of similar farms that state that the blocks do, and that it wouldn’t work otherwise

Sadly not, they removed that in an update a few months back.
Check out my recent community post for more info, but holding a looting sword does actually help rates of trident killers. Sorry for the confusion.

If you are too lazy too get the resources needed for it just make it underwater make the portal on the surface and the killing chamber far underground that's how i usually do it

Yo my nether portal is at y-100 in the nether and i made a ice hallway wich wont spawn mobs but if i make the farm close to the portal will it link to the same portal?
Works extremely well thank you I’m gonna make a villager trading hall nest to it and sell the rotten flesh and maybe gold but the best bit is definitely the xp😊

finished making this, wondering if i could build like a box around the xp area (so i can afk) or would it mess with redstone?
Nope, just try to not get too close to the redstone
this farm works really well but I would like to add that you could make an auto-crafter from the new update to turn the gold nuggets into gold bars if you consider doing this you need 2 auto crafters once you get those place them one block beside the chest but make sure they are facing where they shoot out stuff pointing forward then you put a hopper under the gold nugget chest facing the auto crafter after that put a double chest one block in front of the auto crafter where they shoot out and then put a hopper in the middle of the auto crafter and the double chest and then add the Redstone clock thing from the auto sorter and put next to the auto crafter and now you done

I just built this farm and it is so good. The only strange thing is that the chests on left side are two times more efficient then on right side.
Sometimes it’s just where the mobs end up dying 🤷♂️ glad it works so well though!

it is the way that the piston pushes, because there are only 2 minecart with hoppers
Am loving the farm very simple just a few hundred blocks lol and a few obsidian honestly for most people that's gonna be the harder thing

@@BlazedMCs true but the trident killing setup is top tier in my opinion and that’s bedrock exclusive to my knowledge, pistons work better in bedrock, especially if you are resetting villager trades, sticky piston and a lever come in clutch when re-rolling for specific trades, for future reference for whoever may not know
Yea bedrock definitely has its perks. I really wish Java had trident killers they are SO useful

Theoretically it should work, but I've had 2 people say they did and the rates were bad. Honestly the farm is so good you don't really need to

No. Think it like water. Dispenser placing it once it get activated, filling bucket inside it with the water it just placed when activated once more

Been thinkin a lot, if i really wanna boost my rates and gold for my bartering farm cant i just build like 4 of these portal builds going into one hole? So jts not 2 portals its like 8???
You could, but I have had 2 or 3 people saying they built 4 portals and the rates are slower. In theory it would work, but that is just others. 2 is honestly efficient enough

Will this work on 1.21? I know there are new mob spawning mechanics as well as trident killer nerf but I’m unsure of what farms I can make atm due to mob spawn changes.
I tested it, and in the current Snapshot it will not work :(

No
It will never break because your not actually throwing it you only throw it once to put it where it needs to go

Does not need to be turned off, but might as well. And as far as my knowledge goes, it must be built in the overworld.

one of my portals isint lighting is there a way to fix this? ( i double checked to make sure i did it right and i did it this just a bug?)
Is it 22x22? Are the trapdoors correct? Try lighting with a flint and steal to test

Nope. Make sure your dimensions are correct
does this farm not work on java and is there a work around for it? the nether portals will not auto light

Very Very Very Good Best farm in Minecraft and very easy (tip if you want to do the auto sorting system don’t open the farm until you finish it because it will fill up and u will need to take all the items out of the hoppers) I recommend everyone to do this and this does not work on flat world I tried in creative to make sure it works but it didn’t and when I made it in my survival world it worked very well I reached level 30 in 2mins and level 60 in 13 mins Edit : I made the base up 2 times bigger and added 2 portals and the farm is like 3 time faster now
I don’t know why but my trap door thing to light the whole thing isn’t working could you help on why

@@theunknown345oh u mean to light the portal maybe you put the lava and trap doors thing in the wrong place or you put the observers the wrong way or another reason maybe you made the portal the wrong size

Exp is not bad on Easy (my friend's server setup unfortunately). I'm guessing you get more spawns on hard ?

Since they go into the fire, just change the fire to a chest and they will sort there

Hey this farm works great just having trouble setting the items I want to go in the lava
Make sure the hoppers are leading INTO the comparators, and you have 41 blocks in the first spot followed by random blocks in the others
I’m also having the same issue some are having. Portal is 22x22 and isn’t lighting. Found the issue, I somehow had fire spreads off 💀

For some reason mine spawns random glow squids in it. Not really complaining bc the ink sacks are useful, but any explanation for that?

In the material list, you only have 68 obsidian, it's too few for this farm 😉

I found out that the exp farm was not very efficient in Bedrock Edition due to the rule that only a maximum of 10 mobs can appear.(ex. Enderman farm)
It looks like those rules don't apply to this exp farm, is that correct? This farm appears to be the best exp farm in the Bedrock Addition.

That is correct. That rule only applies to the enderman farm since the piglin are technically spawning in the nether and coming over here.

Yes, it does. Altough, in 1.21, it will be less efficient holding looting with trident killers. It will always increase the rates, but just a little, not as much as it is now

Needs to be 41
You can have 1 of each and when the farm starts working, the items will build up to 41 before being deposited in the chest

I built this before. It was good. So after alot of farming on my new world i made it again. But. I built 2 portal sections one on the left one on the right. 4 portals in all. And its to good.

I made this but as a quad portal, but for some reason i get 0-30 in 7-8 minutes which seems abnormally slow.
that is quite slow, I get it faster with 2 portals. To be honest I have no idea what the problem could be

Farm is incredible, after a few days it stopped working the portal wouldn’t turn on anymore for some reason when the snow flicks it never turns back on. Help
Try removing the snow buckets, turning everything off, reloading your game and turning it back on with the snow buckets in
I have the same problem, I’ve tried to do what you suggest but still the same. The snow clock works, the portal indeed dosen’t lit up. I check if the lava it’s still there and it does.
Can I add more layers? If I its possible could you do a video how to add more layers to it?
Just extend the portals and make a second redstone torch tower :)

Flick the levers on and off
the observer clock being on 24/7 updating the lava will cause some lag in the area even when the farm is not in use, brilliantly cheap farm though, I have a really advanced version of this farm but its costly
Yea, you could just flick the levers off though. Very very good farm :)
@BlazedMCs you don't have anything connected to the observer clock under the lava so you can't turn off those observers updating the lava, I get that the farm will technically be off but those updates still happen :-)
@@TnTIIDarkness you could lay down another little line of redstone with a torch tower, connect it to a sticky piston that would pick the further observer (the one that is on the external side of the farm) so the other observer won't see that one and not be sending redstone signals
Aaah i get what your saying. if it really matters you could remove them when you leave
@@BlazedMCs single player i think were fine haha, minecraft realms are abismal, if you make this farm 3x in the same area it causes to much lag , I recommend everyone do what u did on the other side and have a piston move the observer down on the lava clock to turn it off

Make sure all chests are being sorted properly.
