Thank you for the inspiration to use wedges in a way I've never though before :D
11:30 that part was difficult to understand and I tried several times, it wouldnt rotate with that "attachment" to the side until I realized I have to allign the block to the "corner block" and not the "edge block". Nonetheless great design idea, couldnt have come up with that without the video!

Sometimes it's difficult to show off curved designs for newer players but I really enjoy your enthusiasm 😊
I found that if I start building the ships with this method is alot easier and the ship will have its own personality.

The hardest part is the bit you skipped, getting from that first outline shape with the first few layers on it to the final shape. I always find that you inevitably get whole sections that don't fit and it's figuring out techniques for transitions and joins in the overall shape.
I've seen where people make "snap" joining parts on the frame so they can swap out parts - I could be wrong, but that's what I'm assuming. I'm just too lazy to try and get better at ship building lol.
that's amazing. but no chance i could ever build something as beautiful as the ship you showed off at the end. is there any chance you'd share the xml for it? :P
Not yet! As is not ready im still working on it once finished i will Upload it on the workshop , if you check the workshop you will find some of my works :D
