Lasagna Soup Recipe:
1-2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 pound Lean Ground Beef
1/2 Yellow Onion, finely diced
4 cloves Garlic, minced or pressed
1 (15-oz can) Diced Tomatoes
1 (15-oz can) Tomato Sauce, or tomato puree
½ (6-oz can) Tomato Paste
5 C Water
1.5 T Better than Bouillon, Chicken
1-2 cups Water (Possibly needed as an addition)
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
Pepper to taste
8 oz Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
Instructions:
Sauté the aromatics: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
Brown the beef: Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess grease.
Add the sauce: Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce + paste, water, bouillon, Italian Seasoning, salt, and pepper. Give it a stir and heat to simmering.
Add pasta: Add preferred noodles (Bowtie or broken-up lasagna pieces). Reduce heat to a medium simmer and cook soup on a low simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until pasta is cooked to your liking, stirring every few minutes.
Add cheeses: Stir in your favorite toppings such as, mozzarella, Parmesan, and ricotta.
Knead Crusty Bread
This artisan bread recipe is the low-maintenance recipe you NEED! I’m convinced I keep my house too cold for a sour dough starter.
Recipe:
450g bread flour
2 tsp instant or rapid rise yeast
2 tsp kosher salt , NOT table salt
2 cups (375 ml) very warm tap water, around 120°
Directions:
Mix Dough: Mix flour, yeast and salt in a large bowl. Add water, then use the handle of a wooden spoon to mix until all the flour is incorporated. Dough will be wet and sloppy - not kneadable, but not runny like cake batter. Adjust with more water or flour if needed for right consistency .
Rise: Cover with cling wrap or plate, and proof in your toaster oven at around 85-90 degrees for 1.5 hours. If you leave on counter it will prob need 2 - 3 hours until it doubles in volume, it’s wobbly like jelly and the top is bubbly.
Preheat oven - Put bread cloche or dutch oven in oven with lid on and preheat to 450°F
Shape dough: Sprinkle work surface with 1 tbsp flour, scrape dough out of bowl. Sprinkle top with 1/2 tbsp flour.
Fold the sides inwards and shape the dough into roughly roundish shape.
Transfer to parchment: Place a large piece of parchment paper next to the dough, then quickly move the dough onto the paper - seam side down, smooth side up.
Moving quickly Remove piping hot dutch oven from oven. Use paper to place dough into pot, place lid on.
Bake 30 minutes covered, then 12 minutes uncovered or until deep golden and crispy.
Cool on rack for 10 minutes before slicing.

I have watched your videos from the beginning. Julie was a wonderful person. I remember her in the kitchen making pizza dough and tossing it in the air. She even caught it. What a nice celebration that you will all share in November. I live in SC, and it is so sad to see the destruction that Helene caused to many. We had very strong winds in my neighborhood, no destruction thanks you Jesus. I feel so bad for the families who had lost their lives. We just got our power on late last night. In the mist of all of this we had to drive to my youngest daughter 2 1/2 hours away to watch my grandkids because she was giving birth to her son. A baby boy. Mom and baby doing well. We all need to respect everyone and spread kindness. Without love we have nothing.

Karen, the hurricane was of biblical proportions !! heartbreaking I always watch hurricanes during the season. So glad your family was helped, there are so many good folks that come together in these perilous times. When I worked for Red Cross people would call into our center when hurricanes occurred and offer to go to Puerto Rico or anywhere and help for free it was amazing. The bread and soup looked so hearty!! Comfort food!! The jewelry was gorgeous it's my weakness lol. Will continue to pray for the hurricane impacted families!! God bless.

What a kind and generous gesture to help complete Julie’s vision by these friends. They are not asking for anything in return, very admirable. Our town is doing a drive to take supplies of all kinds to NC storm victims. Four tractor trailer loads left yesterday!! A local restaurant has opened their doors to still take many more donations. It warms my heart ❤️ that I live amongst these amazing people! May God Bless the victims of this horrible storm 🙏

Wonderful and cozy Fall video. Im in Western NC mourning the loss of people and animals who perished (so many). My town was in the eye if the storm so we came out virtually unscathed, so thankful but surrounding areas are devastated. Please keep praying for the South. Love to everyone watching ❤

Karen I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom to cancer. She is in a better place now. I am so glad that the deck is being finished. by these kind folks. I can feel your sadness coming thru the camera as you told the story. Yes it is awful what hapened to so many people with Helene. I dont think ive ever seen a huricane do so much devastation even after it it kept moving inland. When i see the picstures and vidos it looks like a movie not reality. I pray for all the people that lost their life and their families. I alway like it when you cook you make such yummy food. Your jewelry is cute. thank you for sharing everything.

nice video, thank you for sharing your life with us. your right, it is good to see good ppl & to help as well. there is too much evil in the world, mean ppl. Julie is watching over all of you & i know she is glad the deck is done. have a lovely Oct. things are hectic here. being put to work helping in the reno of someone elses home i have a room here. but it is taking a toll on my back & neck. also I was asked to go through my things & toss some out. to keep my things outside in the heat. that will ruin somethings. i need to get plastic boxes. this is such bad news for me. too much to do in this triple digit heat with humidity. pray for me please. thank you, my friend.
