You worked this series out so very well. Im so impressed at how You walked us through from what happens behind the scenes to common methods/plugins even advanced users use
Thank you very much for that torough review ! I did notice unpredictable results from polyverse's wider, now i understand why ! Will definitely go for ozone imager ! Thanks !
I like Polyverse Wider - it's excellent for expanding a mono source. But it seems to first convert existing stereo to mono. Never use it on a stereo mix - just on solo tracks.
I like Polyverse Wider - it's excellent for expanding a mono source. But it seems to first convert existing stereo to mono. Never use it on a stereo mix - just on mono solo tracks. Fruity Stereo Enhancer is evil - ruined mono-compatibility with it years ago. Might work in part by throwing L and R out of phase - sounds great, until that fixed-flange is then recombined.
Hey Matthias, I really enjoyed this video and learned a lot from it too. Recently I found myself using Morphine more for sounddesign. This really is like the Korg Modwave inside of FL Studio and is such an underestimated FL plugin. Do you know of any good resources or tutorial for Morphine?
Hey did you get my reply? I don't think it likes me leaving links, was asking if you would review my monomorph patcher preset, be some good exposure prior to my upcoming patcher preset being included in FL 21, your channel is awesome, I'm not great on YT vids at present. Cheers. Also Milnor stated in tech support that the stereo enhancer has an algorithm issue and only merges to 98% but the algo is due to be updated.
This is the only reply I hve seen about this tpic, sorry! Of course I can review it! Just send me the preset and some general hints to: morflstricks@yahoo.com... Thx for the info about the enhancer plugin... I will test once the changes are made :-)

@@kimandjennifer Nevertheless Ozone Imager 2 is excellent too and doesn´t create this ugly sound...
Quality Quality Quality Content 🤍🎶
Very good information
Thx!
Thank you for sharing!
Pro. Thank you.
I also listen to left and right channels to get better idea. Not only the mid.
Nice vid Trancit! What are your thoughts on EQUO as a stock spectral panning tool?
Tbh...I never tried... :-)
I used it in the old days, in principle this is mono compatible, and not so bad, but it is not very precise.
@@ze2like Must try when I find some time :-)

Your choice...if you like it...no problem...

a1stereocontrol is free and sounds really good, my goto to make sounds wider

@@flstudiotricks6903 Okay, than maybe I should make some! 😅
Can you send that patcher panning preset please 🙏
Mshifter is also good.
There are for sure many many good ones I didn´t know and didn´t tested...
@@flstudiotricks6903 great video. 🙏
thx a lot but what about NUGEN Stereoizer? it is promoted to stereowide but keeping monocampatibility?
I think it will be doing a good job... but why do you want to spend 114,-€ if you can have that all for free with the Imager 2???
@@flstudiotricks6903 Exactly, FLST.

TLDR: He recommends Isotope Imager 2 as the best stereo widener plugin.
