That’s awesome! Presenting as humble and putting mission first.
Thank you for all your hard work to help make our country and the world a safer place. You make us proud to be an American🦅🇺🇲
Its really wonderful to see someone able to take advantage of an opporunity and love it. The F15 is still an incredible aircraft after all these years. Best wishes to Cpt. Sanfilippo!
Outstanding, Captain Sanfilippo! On behalf of the good men who share my enthusiasm and hopes for your career, I say take no notice of the few poor souls with inadequate upbringing and manners. They are probably jealous and ashamed of their ... smallness.
WE ARE SOOOOOOO PROUD OF OUR COUSIN!!°🎉🎉🎉 CONGRATS!
I’am retired now but back in the late 80’s at McDonnell Douglas in St.Louis we had one of our Customer Pilots that was a female pilot she test flew our planes and she was real short I believe her name was Trish very nice person, I helped her with the shoulder straps as we did for all the pilots.
Good for you Capt Sanfilippo 👍🏻
All the best to you, make us former EAGLE DRIVERS proud. I used to fly against (F-15 As & Bs out of McChord [318th FIS]) the Fresno dudes when you all had F-4s......that was 1988 I think..........a loooooong time ago.
Note for authors of these articles; always include the fighter pilot's Call Sign. It's important info and it's always overlooked.
Outstanding! You go girl! 👍👍
This'll be a story to follow, appears to have gone through the same rigorous training and testing as every other pilot, no cutting corners or DEI, achievement unlocked by hard work.
Robin Olds in the background….Salute! Get it done girl….👊🏻🇺🇸
Congrats and cheers for your F 15 qualification!Hi from France !
Respect ma’am 👍👋
Used to live near PDX. Go National Guard!
Great job. Girl power!
Greetings and congratulations from 🇮🇹
Well done Capt. Sanfilippo.
She shouldn't need to thank anyone for "trusting her". She will have earned the position through her capabilities which should match requirements made of all fighter school candidates. It's about capabilility and aptitude not gender. F15 single seat variant is one of my fave aircraft........
You go girl!
Anybody who's been in the military knows how stupid it was keeping woman out of the service
God Bless Her A Proud Fighter Pilot .
You will regret picking a fighter when you have to fly cross country in it
LOL
Less than three hours coast to coast. I think she's spent that much time in the saddle before.
Very Kewl!
So glad we're meeting our DEI goals. I feel safer now!
Heeeeey the 144th right here in Fresno
Well done Annalisa👍🏻😎
She talks at Mach 2 too ! 😂
All the Russian bots on here acting like DEI in the fighter world is a thing💀
Why is this a story?
I'm over asking the same thing.
ya. shes a boss without sayin shes a boss. mad respect.
wish these pilots were better looking
Incredible accomplishment 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, but get serious with the braids!!
How cool
How come guys can’t have ridiculously long ponytails?
well need a follow up on how this ages lol
We’ll = We will. How can you criticize a fighter pilot, commissioned officer and college graduate when you can’t even get your punctuation correct in a RUclips comment??? Check yourself and be better.
@@earlstevens7312 Thank you, too many rude people on this app
@@earlstevens7312 buy a treadmill white knight you need one I can tell
Found the russian bot🚨
@@kaba4466 found the fed calling everyone a bot back to the rats den we all know who you are
Bet ya can’t park it😂
Cole seems like a cool dude
We just can't get past these "fist" this and "first" that. Shut up!
Agreed.
Impressive aviator.
This is great. I have a question, though. Why is it that male fighter pilots have to have short hair, while female fighter pilots can have hair as long as they want. Doesn't seem like equality to me. lol
mAGNIFIQUE
I know that guy with a mustache.
Military is getting sooooo weak
Why is that? She’s clearly a more capable fighter than you and smarter.
If standards stay the same for everyone then what’s the issue? She got through the training. It’s not a walk in the park.
Females have higher G-tolerances. Also, comment once you're an F-15C pilot.
@ak9079 BEGONE RUSSIAN BOT
Outstanding! The best part is, she's flying the "C" variant. That means she has plenty of room behind her for groceries. And at Mach 2 they'll be no excuse for her not to have dinner ready when her husband gets home.
A testimony to aeronautical engineering yhat enabled an aircraft of such sophistication to be flown by pilots not nearly as qualified as in the past.
You've never sat in an 4th Gen fighter cockpit vs say a piston fighter have you....?
@@ISAFSoldier I've lost track of which generation is which. I flew F-4s for a while. I think the onset of F-15, 16, and 18 defined the next gen, followed by today's modern day front line airframes.
@@theshadow5800 Okay, so you are familiar. The F15, specifically the A/B and C/D are very much manual like your phantom, it just integrates weapons employment so you dont have a RIO/WSO manning the missiles and radar. Outside of that, the F15 is VERY much flown manually.
The only aircraft that would fit your "criticism" would describe be the F22/F35 fifth generation fighters. However that is always the point of fighter aircraft, make it as easy to fly as possible so the pilot can do their job, which is finding and killing the enemy. I've heard older Mustang pilots say their Mustangs enabled them to be "sloppy" while flying and the airframe would forgive them and enable to them to shoot down opposing aircraft.
Many women have sat in the cockpits of our fighters, and many of them are just as qualified as men.
@@ISAFSoldier My take is the 15 & 16 may not have been fly by wire but everything else was a significant upgrade from the F4 generation. Materials, electronics, aerodynamic design, and power systems...the difference between a 60s muscle car and a 80s Maserati. F15 & 16 heads and tails more Gs, more acceleration, more easily flown, much better weapons delivery. That generation approached the boundary of having capabilities far beyond the abilities of pilots. I'm saying there's less piloting in today's fighter environment, less head space and timing challenges with aircraft being pretty much capable of flying themselves. It's approaching manned drones. As to the women being as capable, no way. Just like all the highly competitive sports, they can emulate the male counterparts and apply their skills and abilities expertly to their capabilities, but they are women, not men, and built differently physically, mentally, emotionally. That's why McEnroe was right saying that Serena Williams can be considered the best women's tennis player ever, but she's not even competitive against men. Today's airplanes are built so well and so advanced that it doesn't take as much as it did in the old days to pilot. I've every confidence that some women are exceptional pilots in these modern aircraft, but I wouldn't want to go to war with them over a sustained period of time or have one as wing. It's the difference between performing in a scripted air show and going into battle.
why are you discriminating against blind pilots? Diversity now!
Cole looks male to me.
ROTC to F-15C...work hard, be the best you can be!
Would
Definitely not the kind of wingman I’d like to see next to me in combat
Why is that? Also what gives you a say? You clearly aren’t a fighter pilot 😂
It's nice to see women acknowledged, if not yet totally accepted. Maybe one day they will be just pilots and women will be the norm. They can do it as well as anyone and they want to succeed more than anyone!
Oh really?🤔
@@martintimmer8574 Yes, really.
davemanone3661
You made me get all misty eyed.
Super cool. Physiologically speaking, females make better pilots than males because their bodies handle g-forces better.
Literally who cares
I'm with you. Only her friends and family should give a sh!t.
Fail.
Is she adhd?
So dumb
I'm "sure" she's qualified.
😂
@@carycoller3140 I've been around this stuff. Standards are definitely lowered.
@@88mike42 Yeah, I see it. I was in the Army 23 years. I've seen it since I've retired.
