Hi guys! Sorry the video took so long. I hope I answered all your questions but if I forgot something leave it in the comments and I'll get to it ASAP! Hope everyone in Texas & Florida stay safe
Hi my name is Kenneth D Carver you are very attractive do you think if we can get to know one another!! Please write me back as soon as possible!! Thanks!!
As a fur mama myself, I recommend putting a little Bell on the puppy when they're small. That way you can hear where they're at and the chances of them getting stepped on are small
Tanya Niemetz-Lein every animal likes to gave their ownspot, but crate training is stupid. Dogs are pack animals and separating a young animal and locking him/her away is idiotic and goes against their way of living.
Aw, Nala and Bambi are so cute! I couldn't agree more with crate training, even for cats. My Siamese cats have their travel crates in the living room with heating pads and throws draped over them. They love sleeping in them, and because they associate their crates with comfort and safety there's way less drama when it's time to go the vet.
I have a 5 year old male Yorkie and when I was living with my ex we got a female Yorkie puppy. My older Yorkie totally ignored the puppy for weeks and was territorial also. Because she was so tiny she broke her leg when she fell off our bed and I felt awful. Little dogs are so fragile is the point I'm making but I love them. Unfortunately, I had to leave behind my little princess when he and I broke up so seeing your little baby reminded me of her. I miss her but I'm going to get another little princess soon. Thank you for sharing your fur babies with us! They are adorable.
All good info - I have a 3 year old Havanese - Chloe - I brush her teeth every other day she also gets the cleaning once a year. There is also a brushless enzyme you can buy that you rub on there gums which helps if they don't like the brushing - I use a water additive as well. Health is very important along with vaccinations as you mentioned.
I am a professional dog trainer and behaviorist and putting electrical heated blankets in puppy crates is incredibly dangerous and should never be done. Puppies chew and Ken Frei wires be electrocuted start a fire etc. Additionally, crate training requires that no bedding or padding be put on the bottom of the crate. By doing so you are completely on doing the point of great training which is that puppies don't like to soil where they way. Pads and blankets act like a diaper that pull liquid away especially from the small amount that a tiny dog pees. I do have a 4 pound Chihuahua so I have crate trained a tiny puppy. They need to be warm in that you should keep them away from a draft in a warm area but please people know electric blankets! If you're very worried about heat put a hot water pad specifically made for puppies in the crate. I realize this is what you have done and that you are not a dog professional and it's worked for you so far, but I would hate for disaster strike. If you want to make a video on the professional's viewpoint of the best things for puppies I would be happy to give you the information to post in the video.
+Sarah Kalnajs Do you think the blankets are still a bad idea even if the cables aren't exposed or within reach inside the crate? I definitely want to keep Bambi safe!
Thank you! I just got my very first yorkie puppy as a therapy dog. I've never dealt with such a small dag. This is a wonderful video to start out! Thank you so much!
Omg they are so cute. I have a lab pit mix. She is 2 almost 3 now. I don't plan on getting another puppy anytime soon but I feel like you had some great tips in your video. I kennel trained my dog and she loves it. She has several plush beds around the house, but sometimes when she is nervous during thunderstorms or if there are to many people she likes to go into her kennel. So I think your right about the kennel being a safe spot for them. As she has gotten older she sometimes sleeps with my kids at night or on one of the beds, but sometimes she wants to go in her kennel. If we leave the house we have to put her in her kennel so she doesn't chew on something or get into something that can get her sick. One time we left her out and she ate a solar light we had setting on the kitchen table. She was so sick! Luckily she recovered fine.
This Video Makes Me Want To Have A Fur Baby, So Badly. I'm just to tired from Raising Kids!! Hopefully in the next few years. Love The Video. They Are Sooo Cuttteee!!
Hi ... I have 2 rescued full yorkies and love them to pieces! One is 3 and the other just a little over a year. I LOVED this video, you were very informative and spot on ! I learned so much when I got the first one, she was 5 mo and I had never had one that small . But she had been so abused I had to get her and show her what love is.♥ She is so ornery and then she will give me THAT sweet angelic look and I forget any bad thing she just did LOL Now my newer one is the sweetest baby ever and does nothing bad or wrong, in fact my older girl is picking up some great things AFTER she had made it clear she was the boss LOL I found a forum for Yorkies that was so very helpful ,it is called yorkietalk and just teaches everything to do with Yorkies. One thing I feel very strong about is not having a collar on my girls, they can have alot of trachea problems even if they dont pull on the lease. Harness" only please. Mine wear clothes, they wait every am after breakfast for me to dress them and then every pm they will grab their pjs off my bed and bring them to meLOL They get their faces, ears, bodies and paws wiped down every am and pm. They bring so much joy and happiness to my life.♥♥
Their soooooooo adorable! My dog just died recently and this video just reminded me of them. My dog was also very territorial and protective of her toys
Great film! I've been a shih tzu mom for almost 2 years now, but last weekend my husband found an abandoned yorkie in the forest - for the time being, i'm looking for her owner, but if noone shows up, I'll definitely keep her - she's already fallen in love with me :)
Omg they are so cute Also try saucer plates for them to eat out of they don’t have that big of a snout so they won’t really like deep plates. It looks like you really love your dogs and I would recommend looking into better food for them royal canine is like McDonald’s for dogs and blue buffalo frequently have to make recalls on their food and they have been known to lie about their ingredients. Idk where you live but look into better pet stores such as healthy spot and centinela*
My vet recommends that we do not feed our Yorkies wet food until they are at least 1 yr for a few reasons, main reason is it is extremely difficult to brush their teeth and the wet food does stick to their teeth causing dental issues, 2nd is their system is not quite developed enough to digest rich wet food. Has anyone else heard these facts?
MissLizHeart So funny we do the same thing but I'm kinda inconsistent because I heard when they bite or nibble it's just because they want to play with you and I feel bad I don't want him to think I don't want to play with him 😂
+Melissa Gradillas we ask the groomer to trim the hair around her eyes and it helps but other than that if it gets really bad we will go in with dog wipes. Bambi doesn't have watery eyes so we she got lucky.
Yes prayers for Texas and Florida. I enjoyed this video so much nala and Bambi are so cute. Good to hear they got along well. And love the ending how excited Nala is for the box you can tell she knows and loves getting them
Hey I love your puppy, thanks for the advice and the list of puppy supplies I have a question. I have been looking for a Yorkie male to call my own pet do you have any advice or places I can find one. Also thanks you again for the advice on the supplies.
Love the video and your dogs, I have 4 yorkies and they are some of the best dogs , the one on my profile Abel is very perceptive with me an helps alot when i have panic attacks
Hi Liz ..your fur babies are ADORABLE!!! Thank you so much for the tips they were so helpful.i to just got a new baby ..his name is Charlie and he's black pug
Omg your little Bambi looks like our sweet baby Scarlett!! We're having so many issues introducing our teacup yorkie Scarlett to our other dogs, this video is super appreciated!
can you link what book or source(s) you read to help you with this transition? if i missed a link above i apologize. we're going thru the same thing, sort of! i went to adopt a puppy from the rescue but was turned down after our dog got scared of the other dog. they said they were not compatible, yaddda yadda, i had a heartbreak and now im trying to socialize with other dogs but im totally antisocial myself lol. thanks for all the other tips. i think we will just purchase from a breeder next yr.
+christine c I read trough differ dog forums, I honestly don't remember the names. I googled introducing a new puppy to an older dog and read for hours anything I could find lol It's hard to adopt from a shelter when you have to consider your own dogs, i know :(. I wish you the best of luck either way💕
Oh my gosh Liz, I was so distracted by the beautiful velvet sofa you sitting on, so gorgeous! You know I love your home decor right! Lol welcome Bambi! I hope I spelled it right.....thanks for Sharing.
Yeah i plan as soon as i am sure i can stand a job long enough withiut getting hirt getting a yorkie. I had one but we lost her last year to kidney failure. I just been having bad luck with my job aleays get hurt around christmas time and have to take a medicial leave from work. I miss her so much and getting another yorkie wont ever replace her but will help me with my depression alot too.
+Michelle Trejo When it was just Nala I would put her in her crate because she would get nervous from all the noise outside when we were gone. Now that they can keep each other company I let them roam free. I just make sure to close all the bedroom doors.
Very informative video, thank you. Can you also tell us a few tips about potty training and how can I clean my dogs teeth cuz they just run away and it's impossible to clean their teeth plus I can't take them to anyone as my dogs are very aggressive as they see any other human being. Thank you
Awwww Bambi is so cute!!!!! I love her!! This was a very helpful video. I plan on getting a puppy next year and I'm so excited ☺️ it gets pretty lonely in my apartment, I talk to the hamster a lot lol.

As a fur mama myself, I recommend putting a little Bell on the puppy when they're small. That way you can hear where they're at and the chances of them getting stepped on are small
+Mbunny That's such a good idea!! When we have people over I just keep her in my arms the entire time lol 🙈
We did that too- great tip!
That's such a neat idea!
oh ya thats a great idea.i step on some friends puppy and kitten before specially when your holding something and cant see what is in front of you.
Thats a good idea. I did that to my yorkie. She's was barely a pound when I got her.
I recommend buying a cat collar with a bell and then attaching a tiny light onto it! Helps you stay aware of where they are at all times!
I am thinking about getting a teacup, and I didn’t even think about this! Thanks for the information!
Most dogs prefer their crate. And they want to go to their crate when they are ready to lay down. It makes them feel safe.
Tanya Niemetz-Lein every animal likes to gave their ownspot, but crate training is stupid. Dogs are pack animals and separating a young animal and locking him/her away is idiotic and goes against their way of living.
wolfsrain0000 Dogs are also den animals and actually prefer and feel safe in their crate.
The video is about dogs 🐕,not hairstyle or color.
The video is about dogs 🐕,not about Hair color or style.

Isn't it funny how animals know when they're headed to the vet?! Nala starts panting as soon as we turn onto the street where her vet is 😂😂
Yes! Poor babies. I always feel bad when I see them get all quiet and nervous. I have to make up for it with extra cuddles and treats after.
There should have been an alert at the beginning saying watch with caution: this video will cause puppy fever!! Lol love your babies! ❤️

I want a Yorkie puppy so bad, but I'm a nurse and I work long hours right now!! Your dogs are so adorable!

I bought the ones made just for puppies and they work fine. I was a little scared when I heard electric blanket.
Thank you! I just got my very first yorkie puppy as a therapy dog. I've never dealt with such a small dag. This is a wonderful video to start out! Thank you so much!
Clearly I meant to type dog 🤣 not getting much sleep

Mrs. Liz, your babies are living 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. You are such a great mommy.

Does Bambi bite you and your husband? If so do you correct it and how do you correct it? My yorkie puppy is 12 weeks and always bites on my hand.
+Leah Turner She shorten a lot better, we do the Cesar Millán "poke and shhh" lol sounds silly but it works!
MissLizHeart So funny we do the same thing but I'm kinda inconsistent because I heard when they bite or nibble it's just because they want to play with you and I feel bad I don't want him to think I don't want to play with him 😂
@@leahturner7643 he just needs to learn the boundaries when playing, like it's okay to play but not bite
Love your puppies! Obsessed with your videos , love love love.Super excited for your Iheartfall videos💕
+Tiffany V Thank you😘
How do you keep their face clean? My yorkie will get brown tear stains occasionally. I heard sweet potato treats can help!
Also your videos with nala helped sway my husband to get us a yorkie lol. We have a 5 month old yorkie and we love him!! :)
+Melissa Gradillas we ask the groomer to trim the hair around her eyes and it helps but other than that if it gets really bad we will go in with dog wipes. Bambi doesn't have watery eyes so we she got lucky.
That was sooo cute watching them opening the bark box together! very good tips!!🙂🙂

With the bowl thing I would get a cheap collapsible bowl at first so you can see what they’re ok with and then get a more permanent one after
When you leave your house. Do you leave them in the crate or just free to roam your entire house?
+Michelle Trejo When it was just Nala I would put her in her crate because she would get nervous from all the noise outside when we were gone. Now that they can keep each other company I let them roam free. I just make sure to close all the bedroom doors.
