Lao Youth on a Mission for Nature Conservation Cohort 2024

In 2024, Association Anoulak, in collaboration with EconoxLaos, initiated the Lao Youth on a Mission for Nature Conservation: a training course to inspire and encourage the new generation (18-30 years old) of Lao nationals to pursue careers in the environmental and biodiversity conservation sectors.
This program provides an overview of the current issues and conservation interventions by conservation institutions in Laos and an opportunity for the participants to network with these organizations. We focus on providing basic knowledge in the Lao context, focusing on fun and interactive format delivery.
In 2024, we implemented the first pilot program: from over 100 applications from Lao nationals aged 18-30, thirty-one outstanding candidates from across Laos (20 females, 11 males, from 09 provinces) were selected to participate in this first-of-its-kind 2024 pilot program!
We aim to run this program annually.
