- A new year, a new editing software and a fully booked hotel led me to this city, which was much better than I expected.

I don't know why some say that Brasov is the most beautiful city in Romania. In my opinion Oradea is the best and it is closer to travel from London. Thank you for the video.
I guess people consider it „better“ due to its close proximity to the mountains and other historical landmarks like Rasnov Citadel or Bran Castle. There was quite a marketing push in the region done for people to visit and you can see that weekend after weekend on DN1. Oradea also have Baile Felix, but has the disadvantage of being at one end of Romania, as opposed to Brasov, which is as center as it can be.
I've never thought about Romania as a tourist destination up until a few months ago. Then I saw a video about the night train from Vienna to Bucharest (I'm a big train enthusiast).
A while later I stumbled upon your videos, and I have to say, it's been steadily moving up my list of places I'd like to visit. So yeah, thank you for further expanding my horizon eastward, and I hope you enjoyed your stay in Switzerland!
Romania has definetly improved as a touristy place. Just be mindful of the places you book and preferably go with your personal method of transportation if you plan on wandering. The public transport network is nowhere near Swiss levels. I also hope by the time you do take the Nightjet to Bucharest, the whole Arad-Alba Iulia-Brasov line has been fully refurbished, as using it now(or the next two years for that matter) is slow…. Really slow….
Switzerland is always a pleasure to be in, I have in backlog some footage about Bern and the Bernese alps. Eventually I‘ll get to posting that.
