I remember Australia 1998, and it was very different to Austria 2002. Coulthard wasn't under any contractual obligation to let Hakkinen past, and wasn't asked to do so 'for the championship'. He was asked to let his team-mate through because of Hakkinen's rogue trip down the pit lane, and David agreed with the team that Hakkinen deserved the win.
