Unlike others that are very long, these are very condensed with small lessons so it is easier to digest. "Tabette" - would basically mean "please eat". right? something that mums and grandmas always tell kids :D Regarding the irregular verbs - would "onegai shimasu" also fit within this category, or is that a different area entirely?
As far as I know, the te-form "tte" is for u-verbs (godan) ending in "u", "tsu" or "ru". Taberu is an ichidan verb, albeit ending in "ru", so it's simply "tabete".
