I applied to Uchicago for ed2 (decisions yet to come) lets say hypothetically that i got in but as im expecting that college would give me 100% financial aid, if they grant me ill definitely take it. But what if they dont will i be able to ask the college that i want to compare the financial aid of other colleges, in which i could be admitted during regular decision poll. Will they allow students to do that? Do they extend student's reply deadline?
what if I have received full aid from my ED2 and do not want to withdraw from other universities? would my ED2 university inform my RD universities? because my dream school is in RD and I only applied to my ED2 university because of the good aid. Kindly help out
When you say, "can you afford it", what do you mean? No one has $200k in cash just sitting around, per child, to pay for college, that's ridiculous. Do you mean, is it possible to get a loan? Isn't this how college is paid for now ... debt?
? this doesn't make any sense. All it takes is a simple email/call to the university to let them know you can't afford the offer. This video is very contradictory. And no - universities don't "blacklist" entire high schools because they have an ED back out. That's ridiculous.
Thanks for the informative video. Your explanation was extremely helpful.
