Thanks so much for posting! My wife and I used to go up to Stan and Jane's cabin in Rollinsville in about 1970 with other friends and he would project his films for us. We were just starting to shoot with our little Bolex regular 8 cameras so it was quite a treat. Jonas Mekas came up one night and I shot some b/w footage of him howling at the moon. Jane was sweet and read Tarot cards for us. Just one of those magical mountain nights in crispy Colorado. Great memories!

I have -11.00 myopia and I am doing my university thesis on the representation of the condition in film. This has been very inspiring and thanks you so much for being one of the very very few sources i can reference for this. I was beginning to worry i would not get a decent grade with regards to references.
When you have your thesis done tell us how it went! Good luck with it!!! :D
