Its been a whole year since I was at Deseret Industries Thrift Store in Cedar City, Utah. I had planned to buy just a few small items because our minivan was all ready packed full of gear, but that plan went out of the window.... Thrift with me and see exactly what I found......

Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Its the beginning of our annual family vacation to Navajo Lake in Utah and I'm at Deseret Industries Thrift Store. We always stop here on our way up the mountain to Navajo Lake Lodge to go fishing, hiking and metal detecting. This year we had our 8 month old German Shepherd puppy, Bear, so it was extra fun watching him romp in the lake and lay in the sun on the boat while we fished. Although I didn't have my Thrifitng Vegas Blanket with me, I found lots of treasure and the bottom of my cart was soon packed full. Thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. Stay to see everything I purchased in my haul where I arrange my finds out on the campsite picnic table and Bear supervises from a grassy spot nearby. Great thrift store. I loved it and the drive up. Bear looked so sweet laying in your daughters lap and your son laying on Bear. Adorable. Those fishing rods may have been a good item to take with you.

Hi Tiffany, great video once again. Really enjoy them. The plaque with French writing is an advertisement piece that your viewers who do needlework might enjoy as it deals with all types of embroidery floss: wools (laines), silks (soies), etc.
Make sure and check Bear for ticks.
Navajo Lake is a beautiful place.
Lovely trout.
Sticks are really bad for dogs. Splinters will perforate there stomach lining and intestines. I had a dog that lost major weight stick was wedged in roof of mouth cross ways. Could not break him from chewing on sticks. Many years ago worked for vet a lot of chew toys like knotted rope can be dangerous also some treats pig ears chew sticks.
Bear seems to be enjoying Navajo Lake.

I love translating French and Russian on You Tube videos. The blue paddle you purchased seemed to me to be a little sign that would hang in a French fabric shop about what they carry in stock. “Silk wools and canvas. Cordonnets and Chenille. Embroidered cotton at all costs.”

We lived in CO in the 70's as my husband was at Lowry and I was at Fitzsimmons Army Med Ctr. We use to go camping at Carter Lake most weekends. You brought back a lot of great memories. I loved this video!
at 19:51 I think that blue glass votive is "Villeroy and Boch" from their 'New Wave' line. I am not sure if they are worth much for resale, but I nearly jumped out of my chair haha.
Loved watching you shop. They lake looked wonderful with Bear and your son in that clean shallow lake, would love to go there with my dogs. Also, would love to shop in the thrift shop at the bottom of the mountain.

You passed my favorite D.I. at St. George. I love that store. I visit Cedar City often, but have never gone to the D.I. there. I will need to go the next time there. There is a small thrift store just a small distance north of Walmart on the east side of the freeway. They have great prices and lovely people working there. I think it is run by a church, maybe Methodist???

Bear sure is a good boy to stay near. Well trained!! I had a Labrador Ret. Who would run like Secretariat if she got loose, despite her training. She would side eye me as if to say "you can't catch me!*". And zoom!! Off she went

How beautiful to see Navajo Lake! Seeing all of you was such a treat, particularly seeing Bear running around! I'm glad everyone caught fish too! I'm inspired now to make a run up to Utah; I haven't been there in quite a while! The thrifting at Deseret was great to see too! Such a fun vacation!

I rescued the nearly identical globe crystal paperweight as you did. I think these were made and then personalized to be gifts at places like Banks. Mine has been personalized as follows: “ consumer behavior and payment choice Federal reserve Bank of Boston July 2006”. I don’t know if yours is personalized and you didn’t see it or not but I wish mine was not personalized. That said, since I sell on Etsy and it’s not 20 years old, this is in my private collection now. I think I probably paid about a dollar for mine as well. I really like it
