Something that would be fun to do would be to react to the Genshin in-game cutscenes! Specifically maybe the archon quest cutscenes? They follow the main story and usually have really cool cinematic fight scenes (like the clip at the end of the 3.2 trailer). They're usually my favourite part about doing the story as its so cool to see characters in a movie-type action sequence haha. Loved this video and your reactions, hope to see more soon!

I always love more Genshin content. Nahida, the little girl in the 3.2 trailer, is one of the seven archons or gods of the world in Genshin Impact. She's the god of wisdom and rules over the element of dendro (basically just nature/plants) and the nation of Sumeru which is the area featured in the trailers between 3.0 and 3.2. I can also say that Nahida is by far one of the best characters in the entirety of Genshin from a writing standpoint after playing through the entire story questline for Sumeru. She has such a sad and tragic origin and even her ending in the arc is incredibly sad despite also being shown to be incredibly powerful and capable despite being the youngest of the seven gods. She's also an incredibly good character gameplay wise and one of the most fun that they've added, which is insane because most characters in Genshin are extremally fun to play. They've been knocking it out of the park with 3.0 and onward and I'm super excited to see where they take the game next.

As far as we know, there could easily be 5 different dendro archons existing at differing points in history. Hard to pin point it since everything get's edited away from the reality warping effects of Irminsul. (Mistress of Flowers, Queen Aranyani (creator of the Aranara), God of woods (Viridescent Venerer set), Greater lord Rukkhadevata and Kusanali)

I'm glad that with the introduction of new characters and content Hoyoverse did not forget the earlier characters. Razor was one of the OG characters and still we got a glimps into his child life 2 years after the game was released.
That’s a tough balance to being in new characters but not lose the old ones and make them irrelevant. Glad to hear they are figuring out the right balance 🙂
I finished the new update today and god was it amazing to play! The writers really know how to write some cool stories! Also the animators are getting better and better as well!
After 3.0 onward, it actually felt really Hollywood, including the music. Btw, I would love to see you guys' reaction to Nahida teaser and demo. It's really good. Basically a little tiny Disney princess. Or just the ones that you guys haven't seen yet.

A lot of people hate Paimon but I think the VA has come a long way. I think people like to meme it up though because she's always there dragging you along. Also I'd still recommend the animated cutscenes. I'm not sure if that's what they're called but they aren't super spoilery. They're pretty random in the story and often apart of side quests. The art is also pretty good.
I think most people hate Paimon because her dialogue is often just her explaining what we literally just saw or heard. We don't need a recap that often unless the conversation or cutscene is genuinely confusing. When too much of her dialogue is useless, people feel less like listening to it. The worst instance I can think of was in the Perilous Trail quest in the Chasm... (Spoiler for those who haven't done it) When Yelan refused to go into the room that draws from your memories to show the things you fear or struggle with. Yelan explains that, because she does work for Ningguang, who is the Tianquan, she knows some things that are meant to be top secret. After a brief conversation about that that sufficiently explains it, Paimon goes "Oh, Paimon gets it now! It's because Ningguang is the Tianquan!" Completely unnecessary dialogue, but that's on the scriptwriters at Hoyoverse, not on Paimon's VAs.
*FUN FACT:* ［When Paimon spoke very little at first］ Everyone: Why is Paimon so little, isn't she a tour guide? Dislike ［When Paimon is changed to a special dialogue and is a cute fool who can easily say the wrong thing］ Everyone: Why does Paimon talk so much and keep saying important things every time?! it quite the opposite, if you listen to the orginal english paimon in the first patch, she doesn't sound as annoying. somewhere down the line, the VA was ask to change the tone, corina mention it in one of their stream. it one reason I play this in Chinese, as paimon in chinese still kept the same tone as the original. as to why they might want paimon to raise her tone in english, i speculate it is to make it easier to identify that paimon is speaking, in chinese the VA work as a team, so they know how paimon sound and create their voice around hers, in US, VA are independent, they can't practise their line in the same room, especially since when they really got into it, it was the start of covid, so everyone just recorded their lines seperately. thus making paimon more distinctive make everyone's job easier.
Didnt expect you guys will continue with genshin trailers. Glad you are still enjoying them. The high pitched girl is paimon, she is the main characters companion guide. Sumeru is the newest region they released and it is inspired by the middle east. Genshin lore is really vast and the story is super engaging, dramatic and immersive. The little girl, nahida, is sumerus god. she is the god of wisdom and is the youngest god of all the nations.
We had kept wanting to do Genshin cutscenes but the videos are long and in trying to figure out the best way to do it it keeps getting longer haha. But we just need to revisit Genshin more often because it puts us in a good mood 🙂

That actually is pretty funny, the timing of your first reactions and 3.2 release right after. I'm playing it right now and I got Nahida(the little girl) and now I have all playable Archons But yeah if you aren't planning on playing the game I would recommend reacting to cutscenes to get somewhat of a better understanding of the lore it is really great and they're just beautiful. And in relevance to the Balladeer(the character that kept calling himself a god) you'll have a better understanding of his character when watching them before his character gets released in the next update

Considering how well the in-game cutscenes are made, I want to suggest that you watch all the cutscenes in the game. There are many, but each one is more interesting than the last. given your time frame in the video, you will have 5-7 videos of 30 minutes each. If you’re not planning on playing the game in the future, I would totally recommend watching the in-game cutscenes. They are best enjoyed when you have the context of what’s happening, but they’re also really good even if you don’t know much about what’s going on. I’ve shown my mom a lot of cutscenes of this game and she always likes watching them with me even tho she doesn’t really understand them. Also, Genshin Impact is working on an anime if you’re interested to watch it once it comes out, there’s still no release date so it might take a while.

Nice to see your thoughts on the latest version trailers. Also have seen some people that requested you to watch Honkai Impact 3rd. One of Hoyoverse’s more older series. Character and version trailers are probably fine to see. But there are certain animations which are actually cutscenes within the game. You are free to watch them if you guys only want to see some very good animation, but you will be missing a lot of context and probably not get some emotional beats that happen. By that I mean, you will be affected by the situation, but not have the knowledge beneath the surface to really appreciate the cutscenes. Unless you guys have some room in your schedule for it, I would suggest holding off on the cutscene parts if you want to get the whole context first. And you guys might want to find someone that actually knows what the cutscenes are to avoid them. If you don’t really care about spoilers and whatnot, then enjoy animations as they are as in I’m certain you’ll still feel what they want you to feel.
I don't know if you already reacted to this, but if you want a basic idea of where the game' story will go (its "roadmap" so to say), there is the Teyvat Chapter Storyline: Travail preview you could watch. It doesn't contain any spoilers (or rather, you only start making sense of some of the things said in it after you've played some of the quests), and according to the comments it's a regular rewatch for many of the players, myself included (then again I'd lie if I said Act VI and Act ??? haven't hyped me).

Another Hoyoverse game you might want to check out is Honkai Impact 3rd. It's a game they made before Genshin Impact that is still in ongoing today. They're great at the emotional impact of storytelling, and they've got really good looking animated shorts (read: ingame cutscenes).
If you're enjoying this then the Honkai Impact cinematics would be amazing for you to react to - getting the order right is important though.it's a completely separate universe and really really well done

Great to see you two reach this far in the updates of the game! By the way, I don't know if you have already been told, but, you missed a very early trailer of the game. It's called, Chapter of Teyvat. It's about how the storyline is going to advance.
i highly recommend looking thru Honkai Impact 3rd trailers/animations sometime, though the latter you will be missing a LOT of context for (there are Honkai Chronicles videos that give context, the very first video especially as it’s the world backstory, but they often also miss some context or present things slightly wrong) the trailers slowly ramp up in quality, so the very early ones might not be that interesting or high in quality, but they get extremely good; on par or better than the stuff they’ve done for Genshin
The trailers don’t make much sense without lore, and I think there are some lore collection videos, it’s pretty nice, suggest you to check it out in future.
Do you have plans of doing the Honkai Impact story cinematics? Same devs that made Genshin. The animation for the cinematics are amazing, and you can tell even with Genshin making them the big money, it's Honkai that's their special child. There's a reddit guide that assists new viewers in watching the video order while also watching the chronicle videos that give lore.

In genshin case when things get dark on the history it's usually stuff that don't exactly affect the traveler (protagonist) directly, basically awful things (very awful things)that happen on the history already happen/keep happening but don't cause bad to him directly (for example those hillulichurls going to the chasm,they go there to die,all monsters like hillulichurls and their variations,abyss mages etc used to be all people but their kingdom got cursed transforming almost all people on monsters most of them losing their memories and cursed to lived hundreds of years until they go to the chasm to die, sadly this curse has been up for 500 years and the traveler cannot end it so all he can do is let them go there to die in peace.) For now extreme awful things don't happen directly with the traveler. *For now* *Shivers in Honkai player* But genshin has a lot of hidden extremely dark histories,the game desing doesn't pass it but playing and reading stuff around on the open world give you a idea.
I want to say I really appreciated the positive recognition given to the English VA of Paimon. I think their voice is adorable, fun to listen to, and well suited to the character.
Let me give you guys some insight about the last trailer Mainly focusing on this so called "God",his name is Scaramouche,or Balladeer,or Wanderer,or Kunikuzushi OR *_"Shouki no Kami the Prodigal Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom"_* Yeah,that guy has many names (just like his mom lol),now a bit about his "Godhood" and story (there’s way more to him than then,Genshin stories can be massive so im just narrowing down),he is a Puppet created by the God/Archon of Electro Eternity (It’s Ei/Raiden,you guys might remember her) she had big plans for him but after seeing his fragile nature she found that doing that to him would be too cruel,but she didn’t want to destroy him either,so she gave him a pendant showing her protection over him and left him to wander alone and free in Inazuma,soon he was taken in by a family of smiths,but for some "unknown" reason they became scared of what he could potentially do and left him after what seemed to be a ritual (tbh it’s unclear what actually exactly happened between him and the family),then he found a young sick boy,they both apparently promised to *live* happily and be friends forever,but the boy succumbed to his sickness,making this the 3rd time Scaramouche was "betrayed" ,sick of this feeling he swore the be more "like he was always intended to be" and to get rid of these feelings,soon the Fatui found him and recruited him making him the 6th Fatui Harbinger (and possibly messing with his mind but that’s just a theory) to be more specific the Fatuus that found him was one called "Dottore,2nd (not confirmed but extremely likely) of the Fatui Harbinger" [also quick side note: Fatui Harbingers are ranked by power and the top 3 are as strong as Gods,there are 11 in total),after many years Scaramouche came back to his homeland and took the Raiden Shogun’s "Gnosis" (Gnoses are like magical chess pieces that each one of the 7 Archons/"main Gods" have),now later in the story Dottore with the help of many people from "The Akademiya of Sumeru" is using Scaramouche himself,the Electro Gnosis and human knowledge gathered by the Akasha (a device empowered by the Dendro Archons’s/God of Wisdom’s Gnosis that collects knowledge and grants it to people but Dottore weaponized it and make it suck knowledge out of people for this experiment) after a pretty damaging event,now with all that combined Scaramouche actually succeeded to become a God,not a complete one but still a God,and a pretty powerful one at that. Also one last thing: These trailers can be pretty misleading with voice lines put in scenes that they don’t even belong in or scenes showing in a wrong order,Scaramouche isn’t the reason that the little girl called Nahida is crying,it’s actually a pretty bittersweet moment.

Considering how well the in-game cutscenes are made, I want to suggest that you watch all the cutscenes in the game. There are many, but each one is more interesting than the last. given your time frame in the video, you will have 5-7 videos of 30 minutes each. I really want to see your reaction to them, I've been waiting for this since your first video on genshin impact
If you’re not planning on playing the game in the future, I would totally recommend watching the in-game cutscenes. They are best enjoyed when you have the context of what’s happening, but they’re also really good even if you don’t know much about what’s going on.
I’ve shown my mom a lot of cutscenes of this game and she always likes watching them with me even tho she doesn’t really understand them.
Also, Genshin Impact is working on an anime if you’re interested to watch it once it comes out, there’s still no release date so it might take a while.

Also have seen some people that requested you to watch Honkai Impact 3rd. One of Hoyoverse’s more older series.
Character and version trailers are probably fine to see. But there are certain animations which are actually cutscenes within the game. You are free to watch them if you guys only want to see some very good animation, but you will be missing a lot of context and probably not get some emotional beats that happen. By that I mean, you will be affected by the situation, but not have the knowledge beneath the surface to really appreciate the cutscenes.
Unless you guys have some room in your schedule for it, I would suggest holding off on the cutscene parts if you want to get the whole context first. And you guys might want to find someone that actually knows what the cutscenes are to avoid them.
If you don’t really care about spoilers and whatnot, then enjoy animations as they are as in I’m certain you’ll still feel what they want you to feel.
You should see the latest Genshin character demos and teasers.

I don't know if you already reacted to this, but if you want a basic idea of where the game' story will go (its "roadmap" so to say), there is the Teyvat Chapter Storyline: Travail preview you could watch. It doesn't contain any spoilers (or rather, you only start making sense of some of the things said in it after you've played some of the quests), and according to the comments it's a regular rewatch for many of the players, myself included (then again I'd lie if I said Act VI and Act ??? haven't hyped me).

Anyway, I actually recently started playing Genshin and it's mainly because I play Hoyoverse's other game, Honkai Impact 3rd, speaking of which, that game has a lot of great trailers and animated shorts, as a veteran Honkai Captain, I would highly recommend you guys check them out. Another Hoyoverse game you might want to check out is Honkai Impact 3rd. It's a game they made before Genshin Impact that is still in ongoing today. They're great at the emotional impact of storytelling, and they've got really good looking animated shorts (read: ingame cutscenes).

i highly recommend looking thru Honkai Impact 3rd trailers/animations sometime, though the latter you will be missing a LOT of context for (there are Honkai Chronicles videos that give context, the very first video especially as it’s the world backstory, but they often also miss some context or present things slightly wrong)
the trailers slowly ramp up in quality, so the very early ones might not be that interesting or high in quality, but they get extremely good; on par or better than the stuff they’ve done for Genshin

Do you have plans of doing the Honkai Impact story cinematics? Same devs that made Genshin. The animation for the cinematics are amazing, and you can tell even with Genshin making them the big money, it's Honkai that's their special child.

In genshin case when things get dark on the history it's usually stuff that don't exactly affect the traveler (protagonist) directly, basically awful things (very awful things)that happen on the history already happen/keep happening but don't cause bad to him directly (for example those hillulichurls going to the chasm,they go there to die,all monsters like hillulichurls and their variations,abyss mages etc used to be all people but their kingdom got cursed transforming almost all people on monsters most of them losing their memories and cursed to lived hundreds of years until they go to the chasm to die, sadly this curse has been up for 500 years and the traveler cannot end it so all he can do is let them go there to die in peace.)
For now extreme awful things don't happen directly with the traveler.

Let me give you guys some insight about the last trailer Mainly focusing on this so called "God",his name is Scaramouche,or Balladeer,or Wanderer,or Kunikuzushi OR *_"Shouki no Kami the Prodigal Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom"_*
Yeah,that guy has many names (just like his mom lol),now a bit about his "Godhood" and story (there’s way more to him than then,Genshin stories can be massive so im just narrowing down),he is a Puppet created by the God/Archon of Electro Eternity (It’s Ei/Raiden,you guys might remember her) she had big plans for him but after seeing his fragile nature she found that doing that to him would be too cruel,but she didn’t want to destroy him either,so she gave him a pendant showing her protection over him and left him to wander alone and free in Inazuma,soon he was taken in by a family of smiths,but for some "unknown" reason they became scared of what he could potentially do and left him after what seemed to be a ritual (tbh it’s unclear what actually exactly happened between him and the family),then he found a young sick boy,they both apparently promised to *live* happily and be friends forever,but the boy succumbed to his sickness,making this the 3rd time Scaramouche was "betrayed" ,sick of this feeling he swore the be more "like he was always intended to be" and to get rid of these feelings,soon the Fatui found him and recruited him making him the 6th Fatui Harbinger (and possibly messing with his mind but that’s just a theory) to be more specific the Fatuus that found him was one called "Dottore,2nd (not confirmed but extremely likely) of the Fatui Harbinger" [also quick side note: Fatui Harbingers are ranked by power and the top 3 are as strong as Gods,there are 11 in total),after many years Scaramouche came back to his homeland and took the Raiden Shogun’s "Gnosis" (Gnoses are like magical chess pieces that each one of the 7 Archons/"main Gods" have),now later in the story Dottore with the help of many people from "The Akademiya of Sumeru" is using Scaramouche himself,the Electro Gnosis and human knowledge gathered by the Akasha (a device empowered by the Dendro Archons’s/God of Wisdom’s Gnosis that collects knowledge and grants it to people but Dottore weaponized it and make it suck knowledge out of people for this experiment) after a pretty damaging event,now with all that combined Scaramouche actually succeeded to become a God,not a complete one but still a God,and a pretty powerful one at that.
Also one last thing:
These trailers can be pretty misleading with voice lines put in scenes that they don’t even belong in or scenes showing in a wrong order,Scaramouche isn’t the reason that the little girl called Nahida is crying,it’s actually a pretty bittersweet moment.
