Never heard of Cristina Vane but so glad to have clicked on this- she is so talented on the guitar, vocals, and writing! Also, takes a lot to self-finance music. The AEA mics sounds so good too!!!
This is too cool. Saw and heard Cristina Vane for the first time in Portland, Oregon this year. Can't wait to hear her and Bronwyn's new music! Great to hear her singing more.
F. Y. I. - Y’all should check out Bronwyn’s (pretty) regular Monday night gig at Dee’s Lounge in Madison TN - a ‘suburb’ of Nashville where she lives - and so do a bunch of ‘Nashville Cats’ . Dee’s RUclips channel usually will post a live feed and every show is archived and available immediately after. Watching Bronwyn evolve as a singer and an entertainer AND as a bandleader has been a delight- I have a hunch her singing confidence has grown greatly thanks to her fairly recent engagement to Jason Carter (fiddler and backing vocals w/ Del and the Traveling McCoury’s) - sorry fellas 😢! When the two sing together that special bond makes her shyness go into hiding and everybody’s smiling! Kinda proves that music and love come from the same place (imho).
In most circles the Queen is better than the King...just look at a chess board. Queen Elizabeth > King Charles. Catch my drift? She has certainly mastered the fiddle. No need to assign a sex or gender to it. Your comment is borderline sexist...although I am pretty sure you don't realize it.
Not to take anything away from these two oh so pleasing musicians, but the mics are like wow, so clear & present! Noticeable both in the intro bit of talking and the instruments. The dobro sounds so sharp & gritty. The fiddle so full. Nice!
When Cristina came back for a second bucket list artist, mentioned slide and she was still alive, I said Bonnie Raitt… like who else. Rory Block? Who the hell is that? Homework assignment for tonight is a go! Thank you ladies. That was a real treat!
in todays music-world "singing" seems to be the only way to express oneself. That's a shame :( Not that Bronwyn isn't quite good at singing ... it's just that her fiddle playing is extraordinary and theres way to less great instrumental music if everyone feels in need to sing. :(
Thanks Molly for leading me here. I swear I'm hearing hints of Fairport Convention.
love U Bronwyn!!1
dont stop singing...or
playing the fiddle!!!☺

Hope to hear more of Bronwyn's lovely vocals soon. Heard her with Molly Tuttle in Vancouver. Her delivery is so cool.❤️
Fiddle playing to perfection, and now she found a voice to match, what talent! There is something pleasant about Bronwyn, talent with no arrogance.

Bronwyn is not “The Princess”, nor “The Queen “…….She is the freaking KING of the fiddle!!!
