I made this pound cake yesterday for a church board meeting and when I tell you this flew away! Nothing but crumbs left! My first pound cake and it was sooooo good. For sure gonna make again! 🍋🍋🍋
Here a suggested , put your lemon🍋 simple syrup in a spray bottle then spray it on the cake, that's what I do hope this helps.

I'm making this right now. It is in the oven as we speak. My 6 year old went and got sophisticated on me and asked for a lemon pound cake. Starbucks is to blame because I would get it for him as a treat. The batter tastes amazing and if that is indicative of anything, this is going to be one heck of a cake. This is bad for me as I am on a low carb kick. I might steal a bite or two just to make sure that the kids will like it (excuse to eat it).
The best lemon pound cake I've ever made super moist not as dense as some pound cakes I've made yet still has the traditional pound cake crust. 😋😋😋

Ok I've tried this recipe 2x and can't seem to get it right.... I used the directions verbatim but the middle comes out gooey.... what am I doing wrong.... the flavor is there but the texture is way off...Please Help!!!!

Thank you sooo much for this recipe! It was a hit ! I made it in 4 round cake pans for my moms birthday party. I cooked them for 1hour and 10mins and they came out so bomb. I did do a little less lemon juice and buttermilk because I was worried about the weight in the middle rising right cause they were in cake pans. So good!! my mom and her friends loved it❤️

I had a taste for lemon pound cake and made this yesterday. I didn't have any yogurt, so I used lemon pudding (even tho you said not to) and followed the rest of the recipe as listed. The cake is BOMB! So moist and flavorful. My husband at 3 pieces last night. Its already halfway gone. I doubt it will make it through the day today.

I found a video that you can use with tomato Campbells soup there's one for pizza and you have to either buy the dough or make it yourself. it looks super good so you have to use the regular Campbells tomtomato soup spreading a bit on the pizza dough, add any of your favorite cheese and toppings. then fold it again and put some more of the same soup you used for the sauce then add some more cheese and put it in the oven or a toaster oven. not an actual toaster. but a toaster oven if you have one or you can use your oven. and the video is called delicious food mash ups recipes you can make with Campbells soup.

Y J Hmmm...that's a Very Hard Question. Why? Because once you follow Monique's recipe, it won't last more than a couple of days for the most. That has been my experience.

I asked this because I know cakes dry out in the fridge and if my family and I can not finish the cake in a couple of days, then I was just wondering what the maximum amount of days it will be alright in room temperature. In my opinion, it's a very logical question.
