The pumpkin spice latte, in all her glory. The moment the soft sage coloured mug touched my lips, I felt a satisfaction I had never experienced in my life before. I was autumn and autumn was me. I felt it coursing through my veins. It was refreshing but warm and sweet, like a sweater on a cold day. It felt like my inner child was receiving a hug it had longed for, for so long. I’ll never forget this day and continue to make glorious pumpkin spice flavoured beverages at home.

I do think that companies have lost their damn minds putting it in anything they can think of. And when my local small donut shop put out pumpkin spice donuts, these are not regular donuts sprinkled with pumpkin spice. These are donuts made with actual pumpkin with the appropriate spices. They are more like pumpkin bread donuts. There have been fights over the last one in the box.
