Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the blessing of the moisture to refill the empty lakes and refill the rivers. Great country, from my husbands old stomping grounds!

Pam, when we travel with you and Jim, we get to experience both the good and the bad just like real life, because it is! Your bike will be repaired and you'll take us along next time. Thanking God for easing the drought.

Oh Pam, I am so sorry about your not feeling well on your camping trip. Been there and it is not fun. Also, I know how you feel about your bike. So sorry! Hopefully they will be able to get it back in riding order soon. I would love to know where this CG is. We have camped several places in Bryce but have not been totally satisfied with any of them. We are planning on a trip there in Sept this year. We don’t have four wheelers but they sure look fun. We will bike and hike. I was right there with you when you lost Jim…😢 That had to have been very scary for sure. It is such fun camping but we always love coming back home again. With all the unpacking..hahah! I will be waiting for your next adventure.
    Be safe.

Thank you so much! I guess we will try there. We are selling our camper this summer so back to tent camping for us. 😃 We have gone so many different ways throughout the years but we don’t like to haul the camper over the passes out here in Colorado. To go West, we have to go over one pass or another. Your lucky to be already in Utah.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful scenery and your beautiful lives. When our girls were younger we enjoyed camping in Maryland and Virginia and Pennsylvania . We loved being outside in the cool weather. Later arthritis took its tole and about 1 1/2 years
ago leukemia took my sweet hubby. Unfortunately he waited too long to retire and right before he did he was diagnosed with 2 blood cancers. We had many road trips from OKC to MDAnderson in Houston for
his clinical trial. I miss him so much and the things we “hoped” to do. Thank heavens you guys are still able to enjoy these times together and to share 💕😊

My one suggestion for next excursion walkie-talkies stashed in the riders. Keep batteries separate until at your site and take them out at the end of the trip. Separation at vacation time can be quite daunting.

Losing Jim long enough to have a mild panic reminded me of the importance of communications, whenever away from cell towers, but also during a grid down situation. I believe you have covered radios, but have you covered walkie talkies and ham radios? I let my ham radio license lapse, but will go through the training and get it again. It's a bit scary, looking at the training manual, but it is easily doable to get a ham radio license, and it allows you to communicate over a wide area when no other communications are functioning.
