It’s really funny you pointed her out! I saw her 5-6 times on my walk over a 4 hour period and I’m convinced I was being followed 😂 she’s in other clips I recorded that I didn’t include in the final video.
Great images. How do you manage to take such sharp images while you and the subject are both walking (like with the hands). I've tried and it's just a hot mess.
I don’t know if this is why but when I do a shot like this I take a longer step and almost stop slightly while I press the shutter. The key is to match the speed of their walk / movement to minimise camera shake 🙏
50mm - 80mm defeats the purpose of street photography, it removes you from the scene. Actually makes you look more invasive because it now looks like you’re spying on people.
Nice new concept, but the pov is definitely better.
Loving the vlog-like style, definitely feels more engaging and it's cool hearing the thought process that goes into the shot
Never been a Leica fan but I love the way it seems to be driving people back to using the viewfinder. Great video ad usual
Hi Sam, great video again in that new style with the Q2 Reporter playing the main actor. Also Barcelona - well done! I'm looking forward to Paris 😂
Love that camera, super cool, compact and great colours
@7:10 that lady standing there on her phone would have made an excellent shot. Really had a mysterious look.

@Opticalwander what!? You should put the clips together for a short/reel.

@@Opticalwander Ah, thank you. I'll try that in future.
I like this style of video.
hey bro What camera to use to record yourself?
I would assume the dji pocket 3!
I miss my Leica Q. I see a q2 in my future.
What's your thoughts on leica Q2 👀
I love it personally 😊
Also - be careful with your gear. Lovely city though. I'm a US/Aussie expat. Cheers

Street photography doesn't have any purpose
There's no designated focal length for photography. It's whatever gets you the shots you want to take
Also instead of thinking it removes you from the scene, maybe think about how it takes you deeper into the scene
@ yeah being further away from your subject, definitely takes you deeper into the scene. lol
@ does it not, so capturing candid reactions is not a purpose?
