I do like the the story giving you just enough tease into the future to keep you interested. Hey, Max just met Gunny. Although i think he was promoted to Sargent Major. If they burn the Witch on the last day then i am correct. Yep, now i get what camp Gunny went to work for and why. Nice, great ending, almost. Looking forward to the nest saga.

Wow, I know some strange stories about men/women awakening from coma. All those who experienced such trauma, have stories so much real for them, that it has changed them to the core. So sci-fic story or not, this is a fact that everything got different for them. Can't wait for the follow up. (look for the movie "what about Harry")

To much time in hospital not enough ending, need more to add to the story. Back story and more ending like maybe an epilogue or something. We all want more.
I love this series. I caught the great white shark reference from the other one by this author. However, I would suggest finding synonyms for the word "said". It is repeated far too much in the story. Try, answered, uttered, replied, and expressed for just a few. A Vuclan neck pinch!?
