    Hello everyone,
in this video I take care of a toolbox that I bought second-hand some time ago. The tool helps me in my daily work in the workshop, but has not yet made it into a video. The reason is that the inlay of the case is broken and the tools are scattered wildly in the case. Some tools are not even part of the set and have no permanent place in the toolbox, other tools from the set have been missing for years. I can't replace the missing tools and am happy to have the tools that don't really belong in the box. So to make it fully functional, I need to replace the old plastic inlay with a foam inlay.
This is also the perfect moment to test my new tool, the Makeblock xTool P2, a 55W CO2 laser cutter and engraver. xTool gave me the tool for free and asked me to test it. I can use the tool very well and will use it again and again when needed and report how I get on with it. A link to the provider's online shop can be found below.
In the video I do the Laser Setup and show you how to put the Makeblock xTool P2 into operation.
I then test laser cutting EVA foam and laser cutting PE foam.
With the cut foams, I can put together a new inlay that fits my tools perfectly. I am thrilled with the cutting quality of the machine.
Even though the toolbox is now no longer original, it is once again in top condition for daily use and thus for my needs.
As a beer, I finish by testing a "Paulaner Münchener hell".

That was nicely done, all the way around. This is the 2nd time I've seen this laser cutter used and it seems awesome. I love what you did with it here and can't wait to see what you do in the future. Your videography is so clear & precise, your storytelling is spot on and your stop motion is over the top great. Danke, Dr. B for a very enjoyable visit with you in your wonderful shop.

Excellent introduction to laser cutting. One tip, always keep you cut-outs to hand which can be used as padding to avoid extra trimming and keep everything level.

But I think would be better to add a thin layer of foam to the inside of the top cover. Just to keep tools more stable, while carrying the box

I always enjoy your channel and wish you would give us a source for those beers. The München Hell sounds just the ticket to me, since I prefer less hoppy beers. My favorites are actually stouts, which I haven't seen you review (might have missed it, or maybe Germany doesn't have stouts?"

Seems like it might have been useful to use a foam roller for the glue. I don’t know if that’s an acceptable way to apply it.
And using some locating pins to ensure the layers are set correctly might make assembly of the layers easier if you do a project like this again.
And using weights spread over the surface might make it easier to ensure a good contact when you assemble the glued layers and make it lie flatter?

looks very good, I wish I had one of those laser cutters, it would probably make some of my projects much neater. I'm just wondering about the little driver bits and how well they will stay in their places when you carry it around by the handle. they don't look that tightly held in.
