- A Jezreelite who owned a vineyard near King Ahab's palace. Naboth refused to sell the vineyard because it was a family inheritance.
Jezebel plotted to kill Naboth so her husband could take possession of his vineyard. Jezebel falsely accused Naboth of blaspheming against God and the king. Naboth was then stoned to death.
