The key card principle is without a doubt the best one in magic, yet the most simple! It allows for so many things, and it's so sneaky, no one can detect it!
I kept getting it wrong and not having my spectators turn the deck face up before the last step and they kept saying 'Noooo thats not my card, its two cards over!!' so I came back and re-watched it and now it makes sense!!
Yes got it on 1st card like you did wow and I know how on command you did it in the tutorial watch it at blooper part ...thanks a lot bro GAME CHANGER!!!!
This is a great idea. If l were doing it. Maybe have them shuffle the deck, then to show the cards are mixed up well, still have them call out say about 10 cards, ask them if they feel that THEY have mixed up the cards enough, if they say yes, have them place the cards dealt off back on. Have them do a Ose cut. Then have them give the cards a cut, look at that card, place it on the half they cut off then complete the cut. Then proceed as noted. By doing all this they will most likely forget the cards from earlier. 😊👍😊👍👍😊😊
I just say that I am not sure if their card is in the first pile they deal out. Takes you off the hook. Also you can bury the top and bottom cards for them and just remember the second card down. Many ways to disguise knowing the key card.
The part that messed it up for me was when you had the spectator pick a card put it back in, Then take it out and put it back in thus doing it twice is like why am i doing it twice in a roll
I like the idea. But if the person dealing isn't familiar with cards they could easily mess the order up and ruin the trick. Never trust spectators too much to handle cards right. Like the idea!
Come on Vinnie ... that trick wouldn't fool a beginner. Essentially all you have to do is peek the top card and get the spectator to drop their card on it; their card is always going to be the one on top of the key (top) card that you can reveal any way you wish - which is essentially the first trick a beginner learns
I found it helpful because even though I knew the key card technique I wouldn't come up with this idea. Sometimes the simplest tricks create the greatest effects 😁. I think he is mostly sharing the performance idea.

The sneakier the better! (Without being too convoluted)

This is pure gold. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
