At the very least, it should have made it so that using a mushroom or roll increasing item just nullified both effects rather than still allowing the enhanced roll.
In my opinion the shop hop box is really useful because, although it is random, usually in maps there are only 2 or 3 shops, so if the star or even boo is near one of them(like in wiggler´s tree party or westernland) it can be very very useful and it has more chances to move you where you want to go than other objects that have a similar function

It's useful in a lot of scenarios and people don't have items that get rid of cursed dice THAT often yk. It definitely deserves to be higher. Altought rare, It can also be helpful by giving it to yourself, especially on Rainbow Castle

I think the cursed dice should stack with items people use while affected by it rather than just getting rid of it, like if you are affected by a cursed dice, then use a triple dice, you’ll roll 3 cursed dice. This way the cursed dice still has an effect and can’t be instantly countered every time

The effect is really good, not denying that but what wasn't mentioned is the shop you get it at is literally like 3-4 spaces before Boo. Why pay 40 Coins to maybe get the star when you can pay 50 and guarantee it? Even during a Flash Sale I wouldn't buy it since the Super Swap Mirror is sold at the same shop and imo is way more powerful than the Super Dueling Glove and is cheaper.

Creepy dice is waaaaay too low on this list. If your only conclusion is it's easy to offset you're thinking about it wrong. 1) There are tons of times an opponent won't have an item to offset it. Even if there isn't a negative space in front of them, forcing an opponent to move slowly for a turn can delay them just long enough from getting to the shop/star/boo. 2) Even if they can offset, they may have wanted to save that custom or other speed item for later, so it forces an unoptimal play. 3) They can also be used on yourself to increase your odds of landing on a specific space. Instead of a 20% chance to land on the two happening spaces in front of you, it's not a 66.6% chance.

I have to say the premise of "random is bad" seems flawed to me as some of these effects are powerful yet are balanced out by being random. Part of Mario Party is always risk mitigation, so stuff like Shop Hop (which gives you 2 to 3 alternative pathways before a dice roll) should be much higher while the Tower Turner should be a bit higher (a part of me thinks it should be 10 coins for its effect which I feel is a balancer; maybe 30 coins if it isn't random [as you lose 20 and waste your movement if it is Bowser]).

I do think the creepy/cursed dice need a buff in the next mario party game. They keep bringing them back, but making them terrible. I say change the roll from 1-3 up to a 1-5, but make it so it replaces the first dice they use even if they use an item. If they use a double die, it'd replace the 1-10 with a 1-5 giving a 15 max possible roll. Still not great, but it's better than it being removed from them having an item that overwrites it.

I've had games where Pipes take you to the Star Space. Whenever that happens, I'm convinced Pipes are just Golden Pipes, but they ran out of gold paint lol.
