I don't live in New York, but I'm sure I can get off the subway and be at the courthouse. It's easy to tell from the TV coverage that cars are on the streets, so why not people? It's not blocked. The thing is, we all have better things to do than go hang out there for no reason at all. Going down there isn't convenient plus there are expenses, loss of work, missing school, and so on.
