I didn't attend the raid because I promised Shannon I would take the weekend off to help with the baby! The weekend before was the Blizzard Tourny, and the weekend before that SOD launched, so we were definitely due for some family time ❤
you didn't attend the raid because you aren't good enough. Your character isnt't geared enough, and soda isnt going to carry you anymore and he made that clear.

i had no idea who he was before his WoW journey series, and apparently he never streamed before this relevel? I was so tuned in hoping hed do it. He had like 60k viewers when he dinged 60. Kinda dope. His content is top tier!!

Ive seen a lot of people congratulating them, but just as many long time wow players downplaying what they did... Yes its a 19 year old game, its not that hard, they had handouts etc. Its still a large number of people that hadnt played this game at all until two months ago. This type of negativity is why nobody plays this fucking game. It's really cool that they ACTUALLY followed through and did this in the first place, i didnt expect the guild to last more than a few weeks let alone clearing core with 0 deaths first try.
They bought gold (and were not banned for it when caught), had massive handouts/streamer benefits and were power leveled every time they died. People want it done legit, not with cheat codes to get there
From someone who has never played wow, you couldn't be more right. This comment section alone has made it clear that I'm not nearly enough of a toxic/elitist prick to fit in with what a majority of the community acts like.

@@Jack_Rakan Yes soda was caught buying gold as he had all of his gold deleted by blizzard along with an expensive weapons he bought with the gold. Although people like the guy in the comment section can't get over that life is unfair and if you were bringing in so much attention and money to blizzard you would also have benefits from it. Hell soda alone had 100K+ viewers watching him during the raid.

Man I’m a wow player through and through from 8 years old ever since my older brother raced me over to our next door neighbors to watch my bros best friend play the game & even I was hype for this and think it’s impressive for a guild consisting of a bunch of new players to clear this with no deaths,
It’s super unfortunate that a lot of wow players have INSANE egos when it comes to the game, go touch some grass, you ain’t nothing special because you prioritize all your time towards no lifeing an mmo

Well technically he was powerlvled to hell and back by Fangsly, but yeah, 36 hrs later after death he was atuned to Ony / Core. Plus his stream has some great Rav RP moments including looking for Howard and getting his "ghost". It was a fun ride.

I knew that, that's why I said I wish he could have been there. Regardless of even being able to attend the raid. He still committed to soda and onlyfangs to level xarbarian and he didn't even do that. I honestly don't think he will. I don't see him getting a raid spot anymore. Even if someone dies there are 20+ people waiting for a spot. It's just sad he built up this hardcore hype train for nothing. I loved that journey. I also love him playing SoD, but you should finish what you start.

xaryu is definitely missing the critical context of, they had a double pack of core hounds because the others didnt despawn yet and you're with a ton of new people and if it wasnt for a miz aoe taunt and the 20 target dummies a lot of people would have likely died there.

HC is already dead because of SoD, self found is gonna be a wash when everyone’s just playing shit version of classes again, they’ll just come back to SoD. 95%+ of normal players already played it as a self found mode anyways. HC had its hay day, it exposed what Classic is all about to alot of people now we just want more SoD content and a full Classic+ experience.
