Came back to look at no fuss functional planner set up videos. I’m leaning into pen and a highlighter as I’m overwhelmed with all the things presently. Back to rings, easy to switch up for low or no cost. Using existing covers and things. So yep, rings for the win Sam and I see you have circled around to that this year too! I’ve been on a health journey like you, and I feel like this is now extending to my planners and drop all the extra weight so to speak!!

Here in the UK we are never more than 70 miles from the coast, quite often far less than that, and I expect we take it for granted. Have a good month!
Now, I live 1.5 hours from the Pacific Ocean and I don't know if I can articulate the feelings, either. I'm glad you found some planner peace. Don't let social media steal it from you.

I appreciate your honesty, Sam. I have decided to try A6 rings myself. Getting off the merry-go-round and trying simple functional planning! I like the inserts you're using. I may give them a try once I get my rings!

Your planner is very inspirational! It’s a lot like mine-minus the Crayola Supertips scribbles I do. I’m very thankful for you planning the way you do. I’m not big into the stickers and stuff and feel like everyone does the same thing with sticker kits.
Love your system. This seems like the perfect fit and the cover is gorgeous! I have a Lange product that i invested in years ago and I love it! I’ll have to check out the products you love since I’m getting my hair cut this weekend 🥳

Thank you for the color comparison - I wohld have liked to see how it differs from the ochre Malden, as I have one of those for reference... 😂 A6 appears to be your sweet spot, Sam, amd your video was a joy, as always. I *totally* get the stress with social media, it can be so hard sometimes to find peace and joy for yourself when there are so darn many places on-line to start comparing - trying so hard to not do that, but it is so easy to get caught up in that...! 😳 Glad you have found something that works so well for you! ❤

Great you're not stressing about keeping up with others, trends etc. It's not their planner, it's yours, and if not sharing so much helps you then that's fine - whatever works best for you. Sometimes we need to take time out to re-group. And everyone needs some sea breezes. As we say here in the UK - it blows the cobwebs away. 🇬🇧
Great video, Sam! Love the simplicity of your planner. How long did it take from order date to delivery date? And Savannah! Last time I was there was when my 21 year old was 10 weeks old. We stayed in Hilton Head and spent a day in Savannah. I was an overprotective new mom. Would only go to the beach with my son when the sun went down. Happy that you made it to the ocean! It’s a beautiful thing.
I stopped using recurring task inserts for a while. Instead of helping me, they stressed me out. We had a lot going on with our son’s health. Stuff gets done when it gets done.

I loved how you used photos with a few words. It was refreshing and encouraging to me at the time. Thank you! ❤️

Here in deepest Herts I agree - we take our relative proximity to the coast very much for granted. Everyone needs some sea breezes! 🇬🇧

I agree with you on the Sharpie S-Gel .05! Normally I'm an .07 girl but I prefer the 05 in the S Gel!
The .7 just feels a little closer to 1.0 with the Sharpie. The .5 is definitely a sweet spot.

Since it was ready to ship, it arrived pretty quickly. About a week total from order to my door I think.

I’m glad you have been journaling. I use the Rapesco punch from Amazon. It allows for several sizes.
