1975 BMW 2002 Restomod - Featurette

The BMW 2002 is arguably one of the most important cars ever made by the marque, as many of its modern production cars can trace their lineage directly back to the sporty little 2.0 liter coupe. In this video we feature Coleman Maguire's 2002 that he restored and was invited to show at the Audrain Newport Concours & Motor Week in the 30 under 30 class. The 30 Under 30 is a class designed for hobbyists under thirty years of age who have not spent more than $30,000 on their project.

I love the 2002, and wish I had one. I passed one up when I was 16 because my mom said, "no, that's too expensive...look at all that rust". Been kicking myself ever since...

I bought my first BMW a 1972 2002TI in 1974 Currently I'm restoring a 1973 2002tii Oh 2002 stands for 2002 places you'll find rust : )
