    Hey David. First of all I would like to thank you for your great tuturials. It has improved a lot my knowledge about parametric Design. I use this tutorial to plan a House but what i miss in this tool is a way to set the squares in a negative way. I mean the organisation from the end to the beginnin in the axys X. (because of the solar orientation according to the plot). Is it possible? thank you and greetings from Austria

    I appreciate your work, one thing come to my mind is that instead of solid difference you can first do all work on flat ground and do all operation of wall and opening creation using region union and difference. I think it will save resources. Then just like we extrude cad plan, you can do that.

      I think, we can utilize second plate to use arrangement for second floor. Few challenges i am imagining-
      1. Location of stairs should be same in all floors
      2. Plumbing line should be in same vertical line to have optimised planning.

      I am also thinking about some dynamic input method to make it more practical. Specially to make openings.

    How can we attach text also to name the space along with length and width.

    Can you explain a bit more about the loft + region union + boundary surface combo? What is the logic?

    • @kalpit3d934
      @kalpit3d934 7 месяцев назад

      Loft is the basic function of rhino to connect surface between curves. Region union is to combine all the seperated boundary surfaces into single surface. Boundary surfaces create a surface between the selected curve. I don't know if you used hatch full, it is something similar.

    Hi, how could you add another geometry which would start from another corner of the specified sheet (with a different point than the origin)? And how can you make the room expands in both direction instead of lining up against one side of the space sheet (in case the sheet is much larger than all the combined rooms)? Thank you in advance.

    i have also started my version of floor plan. Now the problem is how i can build relationship between spaces and also lock position of certain curve (like stairs position) in opennest so they dont change with seed value.or by any attractor method to define their position. Also, opennest randomly rotate rectangle but what if we want to lock rotation of rectangle.

      If you want to create floor plans where you know exactly where you want things, check this tutorial out. It shows the process for creating floor plans. ruclips.net/video/c1jxgMnkIo8/видео.html

    at 1:20, instead of copy pasting multiple sliders why not use "gene pool" component to have multiple value inputs.

    how did you copy the commands???

    • @DCOParametric
      @DCOParametric  Год назад +1

      when you move a component, tap alt, and this way you can make a quick copy of anything

    • @AamirWaseem-p5s
      @AamirWaseem-p5s Год назад +1

      kindly also specify how you can unlink the commands thanks in advance

    • @DCOParametric
      @DCOParametric  Год назад +1

      Hold down ALT and unplut it. you should see a - show up that indicates it is being unplugged. you can also right click on top of the input you want to unplug, then right click, disconnect, and pick the component you want to unplug.
