  • This is the first time WE HAVE VISITED Kaymakli Underground City in the Cappadocia region.
During the lunch siesta, Milan went on a trip to the underground city of Kaymakli.
Kaymakli is a 30-minute drive from Göreme. The underground city is not fully accessible. The part of the city that is accessible is maintained and interesting for the average tourist.
During the hot summer, the temperature in the underground was relatively pleasant. The entire accessible part of the underground city is interestingly illuminated. The most interesting things to see there were round stone doors, round corridors, various niches and cavities, ventilation shafts and grooves for tools.
If you ever visit here, be sure to walk through the side corridors and rooms. In one of them, Milan found an unlit corridor that led to other parts of the underground city.
Everyone will find something here that will interest them or stimulate their imagination about the ancient builders of this underground city.
