It ended like Return of the Jedi : "I want moreeee!!!" 😅 I absolutely love this series! It's the opposite of Andor in tone, but it as good as Andor in Star-Wars-iness! 😄💜 and it improves Star Wars with the addition of the Jewels of the Old Republic, Pirates! 🏴☠️ arrrr!, incredible characters with these kids, 33 and Jod Na Nawood. 🙂 I'm very happy with how this turned out. I love that you never lost hope in Jod. He never did hurt good people... only bad (stinky backstabing) mutineers... (with a gun or with acid...) Kanan at least knew life as an apprentice at the temple, but Jod was kind of trained briefly by a runaway Jedi after the end of the Republic, and his Jedi benefactor was killed in front of him... so it is a sad story. It doesn't justify him being a pirate (he did kill the captain of the ship they boarded in episode 1...), but there is at least an understanding from us that he didn't have a proper childhood and youth. So, it's the sad story of any criminal. I love his last eye acting sequence at the end, looking at the ship falling. He looks at it, then he looks down and ahead, and we know he will get away from there with a sack of gold and vanish (Long John Silver style...). 😉 And it doesn't need to be written that "Thanos will return", because we know: Jod will return! What an amazing and complex character! He will be a hero, some day! I love the episode, the series and watching parts of it again with you. 😄 Cheers from Brazil, from "uncle" Gus.--
It really has been such an incredible show! At least we don't have to wait too long for Andor Season 2 😂I absolutely loved Jod and his character, his complex dynamic was fascinating!
I totally enjoyed this series and the last episode kept me at the edge of my seat. Yes the only thing lacking was what happens to Jod and what happens to the citizens of At Attin now that the barrier is down. As for Tak Rennod, SM-33 already told them the story as they were on the way to Skull Ridge Mountain (Lanupa) where he was stabbed by his concubine (errr no wait I think you're still to young to know what a concubine is) and he crashed the ship killing everyone else. The big knife the Jod held on to was the one that killed the captain. Again to reiterate and take your mind of what happend to the pirate captain, Tak Rennod made a recording about the At Attin being a mint and plating the hull with armor before he was stabbed by his concubine and had the ship crash that killed the rest of the crew so he never was able to make it alive to the hidden planet. The skeletons in the captains quarters where Jod got the knife from one was the captain and his concubine.
Loved this show and I kinda want more from theses characters. Season 2 + grown them in the sequels era in my Wishlist for sure since I loved the sequels too.
We did hear what happened to Tak Rennod, because SM-33 told us - he was stabbed to death by his concubine, and his last act was to crash the ship, killing his mutinous crew. That’s the skeleton we saw in the first episode, the one that Jod pulled the dagger from in the third episode
I think the ending was great.The look of wonder on Wims face as he imagines what adventures he may go on or what possibilities out there to me is satifying. WE all have imaginations, lets use them instead of always wanting finality. If there's a season 2 we can explore them if not then we can write fan fiction. Regardless the cast is rumored to show up in the Mandalorian movie.
It was nice to get verified use of his powers against an organic thing (people), after only seeing him use it on metal objects. It's going to be interesting in hearing what people try to figure out who his mentor was that gave him his rudimentary training.
@analyticalplum One time there was an article in IMDB that stated Haley Webb plays Jedi Ninaa Nawwood in the 2024 Star Wars TV episode "Way, Way Out Past the Barrier" from the series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The article was then taken down so now it's only a 404 page. I guess they did a portion for her as a back story but decided to cut it out of the show.

Captain Rennod is the skeleton with the dagger. The other skeleton there is his concubine who stabbed him. The rest of the crew died. As SM-33 said.
I wasn't completely sure if he was dead as he mentioned about the stabbing but there wasn't solid confirmation
