good thing you added this, it's very annoying how some people call them mischievous light and think it's their real name, even going around correcting people.
Fun fact. There was another time where we saw the red light. In the Tower Hero’s collaboration with Doors. There was a weekly challenge where you would use towers skins based on doors entities and the premise was you were the entities. And when you die you see a red light instead of a blue light. I know this isn’t canon but it still shows that we have seen the red light before.
@@invisiblesniper2767well you see in the library in tower of heroes the guiding light will help you while tolding you the entitys that are coming well in this mode, the player avatar is figure and the guiding light is red
This might not count as the red architect’s appearance, but the generators in floor 2 have 3 fuses required to power them, each of those fuses are a different color, the first fuse being Blue, the second being Yellow, and the third being Red. Just something interesting that I thought should be mentioned.
Im pretty sure she isnt acting against the player, instead shes just deciding to put in the minimum effort to help. She alerts the player when the crucifix is failing and when seek is attacking. She also has a sense of balance as when the player does something hard they are rewarded by mischievous light. She gives the player her fuse upon defeating seek, but more notably she's the one who made the knobs and pre-game shop system. Overall people just think she's evil because shes red and the crucifix turnsred when it begins to fail. If you need more explanations for her behavior then id be happy to help.
Yo man, out of the theme, I got an idea. Yk how in the doors wiki, only Seek and Dam Seek have a render? Well, you could make a render for the Old Seek model, Seek Worm, Seek Sludge and Seek arms, since you are incredibly good at making renders. That's all, hope u have a great day :)
how much you wanna bet their name will be revealed to be "Chaotic Light?" hear me out, almost every instance of guiding light is meant to guide the player to the end, almost every instance of curious light is vague and sparks curiosity, and it doesn't a genius to say that modifiers are definitely and very likely intentionally chaotic. (seriously four eyes in every room come on.)
I head cannon the red light isn't evil, it just wants to challenge the player. This would explain why it breaks out some entities but not all of them, the modifiers being optional and give rewards, and why Seek can keep up with us while we are in a minecart but not catch us while we are on foot. This is because you can come back after death, why would it be evil to make someone's escape harder but not impossible?
I kinda agree, as there are positive modifiers too, if they were evil they would force you to play with modifiers just to progress, but they may have something to do with seek and screech because we can see a red light on them, I believe the name “Manipulating Light” makes a lot of sense because of this as they manipulate the games mechanics and entities.
I think red light is also in the lobby. If you wears any ugc with the name aura, it'll removes it from you with a red light. I dunno, maybe I'm oberthinking.
No one is going to like this theory but I have a theory that the red light is associated with hide. I suspect they are the ones that say get out in the closet like with guiding light and halt as guiding light says turn around and run away. In the mines we see hide as red but if the red light was helping us battle hide it could make sense why the red light surrounding the entity. Also there are red particles sometimes coming from where hide is. If you have anything wrong with this theory then actually give some reasons why not like everyone else does and says this theory sucks it is obviously hide and is a design choice. Tell me where we got it was a design choice.
Similar to how halt works. (Halt tells you to turn around) This is possibly wrong. Since The red light wouldnt tell you to get out. That can be guiding light intervening them but it dosent show a blue light.
Another thing to mention you could mention is that in the game's crucifix badges, they all have a blue circle around them indicating guiding light has something to do with them, but for boss monsters like Seek, Figure and Grumble, their circle is blue AND red!!
it's definitely interesting what the red light's goals are, and i hope we get more info on it sooner, because there are like 800 million concepts on the red light already despite it not even having an official name yet. (people better not start saying "mischievous light is its name!!" that name is fan-made.)
Wouldn't it technically still make sense to call it Mischievious Light because many entities are fan-named. The main examples are Window (Filename is actually Sally), Shadow and even both Guiding and Curious Light were named by players because they don't have canon names.
Fun Fact: The Red Lights symbol aka modifiers symbol is a galaxy. It is a spiral and in a painting called spacetime with the moon and a star, so a galaxy makes sense. I noticed people just call it spiral and its annoying.
Spiral can be short for spiral galaxy, and it could also possibly be a vortex as well. Both of which are celestial objects, we’ll just have to wait and see!
I thought it was a black hole, but a galaxy probably makes more sense since the red light is the strongest out of the 3 architects and has powers over the hotel the other lights don't
I realized something, red light probably is different from curious light & guiding light, because both curious and guidings symbol can be found in the sky, but we can’t find the red lights symbol in the sky
I think seek just has a red glow. They're quite the mix of interesting design choices: Infesting walls with a single eye, having eyes, being some kind of conscious bluetooth sludge, being some kind of infection, they even make surging electrical noises for some reason, glowing red can simple be innocuous. That isn't to say it hasn't been present with seek, as it can clearly be seen present in both chases. There is red light with strange patterns everywhere and that's what we see with the rooms barrier. Further we have a reason for why its there, as it can be seen damaging the location and creating obstacles for the player. This is why things start falling over and the surroundings, like the mines, start falling apart - Its actively causing damage to the locations to block your path, like with jumps and the bookcases, similarly to how guiding light knocks over the lamp in the library.
I think either Mischievous follows Seek around like a fan, or it's the other way around and Seek emits red light to try and get Mischievous to notice it
@@strangecolouredbird It follows most entities. The tower heroes event shows it gives figure support, and clearly it helps seek. It's helping entities, probably not because it likes them, but to kill the player.
Fun fact! if u disable guiding light (Gone fishing or Soundproofing) on the painting in entrance of rooms guiding light (his symbol moon) will be small
i'm not sure who my favorite doors character is, but i'm *curious* what i'll decide. i need to *guide* myself to the right choice. but i'm feeling pretty *indecisive* (get it because the red light has no official name? okay sorry i just had to make this joke.)
@@TheRealFedrikoI still *seek* to find my favourite entity, I *figured* it had something to do with *screeching* but I am still *curious* myself, I am *rushing* to find the answer. If I was *Guided* by *Celestials* I could *figure* out the answer, I will have to use my *eyes* too. Maybe my brain isn’t working, could it be a *Glitch?*
Also, if using modifiers with positive bonus knobs, the room 60 painting will showcase the Red Light bigger and shinier, and, if using modifiers with negative bonus knobs, the Guiding Light symbol will be bigger and shinier.
Another less obvious place you can see the red light is when ever you leave a boss room, like seek, and guiding light shuts the door. After the blue symbol for guiding light fades, the moon in the centre briefly turns red, but its a really minor detail.
I don’t think that seek is being controlled by the red light, and that the color in the seek chase is just decoration. This would be like saying that halt is powered by guiding light because just like seek, the room changes color.
@@invisiblesniper2767 It does kinda make sense but it’s obviously unconfirmed. Halt being controlled by guiding light obviously makes no sense at all because guiding light is confirmed to be on our side while halt is not. Seek and mischievous light (or red light) are against us so I say why some people think they are related
The third light is just more likely to be appearing in floor 3 in the castle or what not, i mean curious light appears in 2 places such as the backdoors and the rooms, guiding light appears in the mines and the hotel, sooooo its probably gonna be appearing in the castle and for floor 4 or a sub-floor for the other elevator in the mines entry
Yeah, that's a *good theory.* *Curious* mainly for *subfloors.* *unnamed red light* possibly for other *subfloors* or later *floors* or if in a _future update_ appears when *modifiers* are enabled *Guiding* for main *floors.*
since the beggining i always thought that the red light wasn't exactly like a talking entity like the other lights but actually a force, but idk if that keeps up now but i like that idea
We need to get more lore on where the entities came from to know what the role of the red light is. What we know right now so far is that Guiding Light is likely what set everything up for you to survive, Curious Light doesn't really know how to explain things or word things properly but would still be at the same level as Guiding Light if it knew how to, and tries its hardest to help you out, and the red light is still unknown. All we know about it is that it created the modifiers. It could be the one who created the entities as well, and it could be neutral, nobody knows
Red light could be seek, seek referred as Lucifer said by Tom in game theory, the architect red light might rebelled against curious light, as I beleive the god,and this is why red light became distorted and as control over hell, doors’s dimension
If curious light was his and the red light rebelled against them it would not make sense for curious light to listen to the red light. But who knows maybe curious light doesn’t they maybe bad
The red or “Mischevious” light in my opinion should take the place of guiding during modifiers, essentially acting like “the Sebastian Solace” when it comes to its death screens, insulting you for dying whilst using it to make your runs your difficulty of choosing
Could it also be that the Red Light has something planned for us players? We can crucifix any entity that will just appear again later on. But, unlike the Boss Entities like Figure and Seek, we can't crucifix them. Is it because the Red Light doesn't mind us killing the ones that can respawn, and those who can not respawn can actually be killed? Unless, of course, the boss entities are actually just too big for Guiding Light to crucifix.
Entities respawning seems werid. Perhaps it could be a whole species like grumbles and giggles? I mean.. it doesn't make much sense though. Especially for entities like rush or ambush. I mean others like dupe or gloombats? Yeah, they're probably a species. I don't know too much to say but it doesn't seem to make sense for entities to respawn. I consider the "dupe hole" theory where dupe is a species making sense. Kind of. And gloombats are definitely species. But still a cool theory you got. I'm not gonna talk furthermore and do not say anything like "why u jus takkin abut dup and gomblatz???" Anyway, bye.
For anyone wondering, at 3:30 he says that the red on seek dam has no explanation for its existence, although if you have played and beat floor 2, it shows where the seek hand, seek monster, and seek worm will go, meaning it's not the red light, it's just there to help players know when they should go and where they should go.
Another piece of foreshadowing for the red light is the generators having 3 lights. Blue (Guiding), Yellow (Curious), Red (Red light). I also personally think that the entities are trapped souls and crucifying them sets them free and the red light trapped them in the hotel in the first place. Thats why the crucifix goes red when it fails.
my theoty is that every single light from any entity (not item) is releated to some architects, including lights we never thought about, like green light or purple light. that doesn't change that blue, yellow and red are the most important in the lore and some entitiess may be posessed by multiple lights and all of the bad guys are posessed by red. for example figure flashing yellow (curious) light but being dominatd by red light, which is why its trying to kill us. i don't know so far will this theory make sense since there's both blue and red gloombats that act the same, but i developed that theory while ago and i still want to go for it.
The crucifix theory might be wrong, because, well, the hotel+ update was so well made and so much effort was put into it, that maybe they'd code it so that the red lights icon would replace the moon icon in the crucifix middle when it turns red. Idk tho correct me if im wrong
maybe the modifers logo hadnt been created yet? though there was proof of it before the modifers update due to the rooms painting having the blue and red dots before modifiers released
I have a theory. What if we were the mischievous light ? Bc WE actually activate modifiers and maybe the power of the player is too powerful when he finishes the floor 1 and the player blocks curious light itself from getting out of the rooms, because he knows if he goes in here he will have a bad time with entities. The only thing with this theory is that i don't know how to link it with other red light indication
3:47 i personally believe that Seek could be Red Light's true form or somesort of avatar. Each Light so far has an object associated with them. -Guiding Light has the Crucifix and the Possessed Candle -Curious Light has the vial, bottle and barrel of Starlight - Red Light so far doesn't seem to have any object affiliated with them so far. But given how much there's red lighting around Seek, who says that it couldn't be true?
I personally think seek and the red light are separate entities. Seek has a ton of different design choices which means them glowing red could be a coincidence. They make electrical noises, have eyes, are blue-tooth, are some kind of infection, are sludge, can take shape. Glowing red is the least weird thing about their design. I can't personally tell what starlight is other than something created by curious light, but the items guiding light uses are clearly tools they're able to sync to to fulfill some purpose. The crucifix is a holy item that gives guiding light the power to banish an entity, though temporarily, and the candle is literally "possessed" by guiding light, its in the name.
this doesn't make much sense. saying seek is controlled by the red light is like saying halt is controlled like the guiding light just because he's blue. it's likely a design choice
@@microwave1141 Yeah. When theorizing, people really need to learn that not everything is a clue. Seek has a million strange design choices and glowing red is a mere one of them.
I believe that the reason the entity is saved by the red light when figure or seek is being crucified is because they either know that the character is strong enough, or its because they know the character is not in a species, but instead in a singular person.
I like to imagine Mischievous light (Still calling her that) isn't evil in the slightest, she just has an incredible lack of foresight and never takes anything seriously. I imagine while Guiding is desperately helping players against Halt and Seek and all, Mischievous is just cheering like it's a football game
however i did notice that when the seek chase is happening in floor 2 ( the first one) i think that its the red light throwing the boulders down to slow you down and make it easier for seek to catch up to you and how at door 145 i think the red light is the one that breaks the board so you fall to your death thankfully guiding light saves us by pushing the minecart ( cheddar balls i hope you see this :) )
Personally i dont think the red light stops the crucifix, because why would he only do that on seek figure or grumble and not the other entities? My thought is that its related to the entity's power, and guiding light turns red as a warning that he cant ban those guys
A theory I've had on this is that some entities require a bit more effort from guiding light to crucifix due to their natural strength. Their resistance buys the red light enough time to get involved and overpower guiding light.
Red Light's power, based on the modifiers, is to change the rules of this Hotel/Mines... dimension? world? This lines up with interfering with the crucifix too, since the crucifix is meant to drag its victim into the ground. Red Light changes that rule whenever the crucifix hits Grumble/Figure/Seek. Seek's red glow only shows up around parts of the goo with a modified structure: humanoid, hand, glob (dam stage 2 monster that grabs you), worm, and mound of eyes. I think this makes it clear that the goo is infused with Red Light's power: it can change its shape. Is it Red Light itself, or is Red Light controlling Seek, or is Seek a separate entity from Red Light? We can't know for sure, but given that Red Light can provide both good and bad modifiers, and they are only in effect if we choose so, it's highly unlikely that Red Light is evil, he seems much more like a neutral character. This would make Seek a separate entity. Other supporting details are that the other two architects have items powered by them (candle and crucifix for Guiding Light, Starlight potions for Curious Light), so it's not unexpected to see something infused with Red Light's power. It's the goo, but the big question is how come it's sentient? The other items aren't, so what happened to the goo? Another thing is that we can never walk the full length of the Hotel and the Mines, it is always just a handful of rooms, and all of it is floating in a starless void. If you stay behind, the room can disappear from around you, and the void will move you forward again. Some rooms however, are in a fixed spot: midway/end boss encounters, Jeff's shops, but also the Rooms entrance and the big cellar (60 & 61), the infirmary (67), and the courtyard (89). All of these locations seem to have some lore details, which is why I think they are set apart from the rest. Interestingly, Seek chases also have some limitations. In the Hotel, the entry point may vary, but the length and sequence of rooms is always the same (not the directions in intersections, but the actual room types linked together). Same goes for the mines, except the starting points are fixed there too (and again, the pipes seem to have story implications; Seek is moving through pipes, or is contained in pipes, for the most part? Who knows), but there is more variance in the intersections. The point is that the fixed sequence of rooms is always accompanied by red spots on the surface of these rooms, completely independent of any Seek presence. I think this is another sign that Red Light is not Seek, because these spots show that Red Light is actively influencing the chase rooms to stay in that specific sequence.
I do have a theory that the red light (dubbed the mischievous light by the community) is actually the main antagonist alongside Seek given that they'll happily make your life a living hell just for the fun of it when you have mods on. Im also speculating that they're directly helping Seek kill you as in phase 3 at Door 200, they'll mark your location on the scrap with a red light, prompting Seek to launch a giant leach over to that area.
We can find this “Mischievous light (its its nickname)” inside a candy called “Can-Die” in the “Trick Or Treat” event. If you eat it, it instantly kills you.
I personally think that hide is pretty much the Red light, before y'all try and prove me wrong, hear me out.. When it comes to the light entities abilities, they're pretty strong, for example: they can appear everywhere all of a sudden ( Seek Chase ), literally everywhere, they also obviously emit light and can be interacted with ( Starlight stuff for example ).. Hide is a Red Entity who can emit light, can appear literally everywhere ( except Door 50 and 100 for the temporarily removed Heartbeat gams ), hide also emits ghost particles which i like to believe it's our dead souls from the past orbiting the unamed Light aka Hide, there can also be multiple of them if for example 4 people hide at once, like guiding light emitting multiple lights at once to help us out, and his design is kinda familiar to the rooms barrier when u use a modifier... I'm not a theorist.. okay kinda but I honestly believe the unnamed light and hide are related, but it's only a matter of time until we find out unnamed light's true identity! Holy moly how much did i type
One thing is that the light entity’s can communicate with the players in text. This happens after death. Hide not only Emmitt’s red light, but red text saying get out. The only thing that’s weird about this it halt emits a blue light and says turn around. So basicly I’m adding on to your theory and countering it. As for your theory, some entities are just a color. The text is for gameplay purposes. But this theory has crossed my mind so maybe. Mainly what I think is that the red light has control over all entities, but is more present in more entities. For example, the lowest tier of control is, window, shadow, useless ones. Next is average ones like rush or screech. He spawns them but has little control. The next is hide, and haste with a red light and text on screen. Next tier are bosses. They have most of his power and he protects them. But I think the only one he controls 100% is seek, which is why seek infects others to give himself more power. Also technically screech and grumble would go here because they are under seeks control. The final boss of the game should be this light. Fighting a god would be awesome or perhaps helping the other lights defeat him with their items. Note: he has no power over friendly entities, but he can interfere with them like when disabling guiding light or blocking rooms. Note: hide isn’t helping you when he says get out, he simply does not want to waste his power forcing you out, he wants you to not hide so you can be killed by other entities. Then he forces you out if you don’t listen. Or perhaps hide is his own entity who was created for this purpose instead of “being” the red light. Note: I wrote more than you haha
@@Spider_Monke_Vr well, if he really gave rush, grumble etc... power, wouldn't they emit red light? And as we know, the unnamed light and guiding light can't enter the sub rooms so haste, lookman, A-60, A-90 etc are NOT related to the unnamed light. Also idc if you wrote more than me.
@@QuazarQZ maybe BUT Hide also shows text and stuff, which only the light entities can do so far.. I'm unsure about halt, he is an entity but.. he has the guiding light details and stuff.. Idk but it doesn't explain the souls orbiting him, wouldn't the unnamed light keep them to himself or smth?
I have a theory when it comes to doors, but it’s a little far fetched You theorised that figure would be the “big bad” in floor 3 because of the festering meat by the castle, but we also saw seek pretty much kill the queen grumble. They wouldn’t have spent all that time making the animation if it wasn’t important. I think seek and figure might join forces. We could see figure die, and see seek take over figures body. (Also this would be terrifying because then figure could see due to seeks eyes)
honestly i dont think the crucifix failing is because of the red light, i think that the entity is simply more powerful than guiding lights power hence it can only stun them for some time instead of banishing them completely, i think the red light shows that guiding light failed to banish the entity.
Tbf I could definitely see the red light being a light against the player, seeing as they are the symbol for modifiers that make the game harder. Interesting fact, idk the exact percent, but something I found out on my 150% run is that the painting at room 60 will have a much smaller blue moon, maybe signifying red light countering guiding light?
One more the place the red light appears in is the rift, with all the blue flashes/ triangles one flash in the sequence is red, this could be because I have a crucifix in the rift but it still appears in the rift.
my oppinion is that there is no sign that they are evil so i think it just is like guiding light but with more controll dirrectly to entities like knowing when theyre going to attack (door 200) or if they will survive the crucifix.
Personally I believe the crusufix turning red is not a sign of modifer light. It is the universal color for something failing so I don’t there there is any real lore behind it other than just to show the entity is too strong to be banished. For example Grumble can’t be banished but it’s very likely it’s not due to MODIFER cus it’s ways to be and strong for a simple small thing to take it down.
2:35 I think that it's just because seek figure and grumble are just stronger than guiding light because even if you don't have modifiers it still won't be ABLE TO DIE
seek might’ve never been hostile in the first place, the red light could’ve taken over seek because of his power to turn anything into his own slave like giggle turned into screech
my theory: The third architect is our power because I think we control modifiers like how in Scp containment breach D-9341 is a scp that can load saves (Weird Elaboration ik)
I don’t think that this red light is totally evil. This red light offers modifiers that make the game easier but at the cost of less knobs. If anything it feels like this light makes things harder to give the player better rewards which isn’t something that is against you would do. If this red light were to cause the crucifix from failing when used on a boss entity it seems more like they want to give you a challenge for the better rewards to help you. This red light seems to make you want to earn what you want rather than just handing it to you on a silver platter.
Adding to the modifiers, if you use harder modifiers you get more rewards. This red light seems to prefer balance over helping the player to make it fair. So in conclusion, guiding light wants to help the player by offering actual help to make things easier for you, curious light while not entirely helpful to you, they still decide to help you but they aren’t the best at it and seem to be learning with the player. They are more observant, and this red light will offer help to the player but at a cost of a difficult challenge. They prefer to keep things balanced and fair. They aren’t biased.
the reason why they dont allow you to kill the boss entities with crucifix is actually because their boss's and also because of their weight since their big
seeks aura isnt mischevious, i think its his own, since there would be particles around him. but there are none. and besides theres another thing thats red in the seek chase. blood. so maybe its the splattered blood on seek.

I feel like that the architects were actually 3 friends and one friend just trapped them all inside because of his evil intentions, to stop him going out into the world , the other two friends brought the 3rd friend inside , so I think that the other two friend cursed him to be a different entity, but the third friend overpowered them and basically somehow all of them became lights , the only way out of there is with us, so the other two lights help us , while the red light prevents us , so that the other two architects can't spill the beans of the red architect, therefore many entities were created, I also do think seek was a neutral entity that was always present in the hotel/mines but was overpowered by the red architect and forced them to be aggresive, I also do think hide in the mines IS the red architect, there may be another reason why the red architect may stop us from going into the rooms, there probably are OTHER entities in the rooms that can be so hard that it cannot be beaten by a mortal like us.
there is another place for the red light, after beating door 50 in floor 1, at the door u see the guiding light, but then u see the mischevious light for like half a second
LSPLASH had the opportunity to replace Guiding with Mischievous if you have modifiers enabled. They could've made her tell the player to stop playing with bad modifiers (bad as in modifiers that increase the knobs reward), each death being her getting more and more desperate in telling the players to stop the modifiers stuff, and go back to regular Doors. And if you're playing with good modifiers, she'd tell you that if it's worth it to lose a couple of total knobs if you die. Before you comment, I'm well aware that Mischievous doesn't have a confirmed name and gender. I'm just going with what people assumes what the red light's identity is. Also, Mischievous is not yet confirmed to be an evil being that's trying to kill the player, and some people think that Mischievous is helping the player as well. There's some things that can back this up as well, like the Crucifix turning red, indicating that the player must run away from the failed Crucifix, and the red light indicator where the Seek-like beings will attack during the the Sewer boss section (I like thinking that Guiding and Mischievous were helping the player during the Sewer boss, Guiding helps with making the valves more easier to spot, and Mischievous indicating where the Seek-like beings are going to attack).
Taking all info from people who looked through things like the wingdings it quotes something about 3 gods if I’m right so the red light is probably a failsafe of the crucifix’s power to keep them stalled for a bit, curious light might be involved.?
I noticed that when you put the bulbs into the generator there is 3 colors. Blue, Yellow, and Red. I also noticed that the curious light only appears in subfloors. I have a theory that the red light is evil and very powerful
3:26 my theory is that Mischievous Light is actually helping Seek which is probably why is the reason why Seek is most likely the strongest entity in the doors verse although there is no information that is backing this up i like to think this because we only see the red light in seek's chase. Edit:i fixed a spelling error
OR like Game Theory's newest doors theory video mentioned, seek is the third architect. But maybe seek is its physical form, also explaining why seek emits that red light.
@@gabrielafuentes8766seek already has this red light before the curious and michievous light, so.. no, seek is not the mischievous light, cuz when doors was released, seek already got this red aura.
I know that the red can disable guiding light and make the game harder, but what about helpful modifiers, the literally make the game easier for you, the red light obviously won,t help you by making everything easier for you to complete. I do think the red light still has some interference with helpful modifiers, because some modifiers disable rifts.
I would say the red light around seek is a cause of his goop being inside the Walls and is creating heat and when seek emerges That creates an opening for the heat to Come out and ray a red light.
I believe seek might be the red light, think about it How would seek cause rocks/furniture to fall down then? Also the statue in the courtyard that people associated with guiding light has a ring on it's head with what can be compared to seek's eyes, so that might not be guiding light, but rather the red light
I have 2 things to say 1. I have a question: Could Guiding Light banish Seek, Figure and Grumble if the red light didn't intervene? 2. IN the April Fools Voice Acting Modifier, there is a voice line for entities when they are crucified where they shout loud that "It burns! AGGGGHHHH!" SO could something be related to this specific burning felling, e.g being banished to hell or something?
Well u can see mischevous light when u activate modifiers i think like u cant go in rooms when u have them and mischevous light is blocking the way and idc if it unnamed or smth i used to call it mischevous light
their name is not "Mischievous Light" they are UNNAMED!
good thing you added this, it's very annoying how some people call them mischievous light and think it's their real name, even going around correcting people.

That's all, hope u have a great day :)
how much you wanna bet their name will be revealed to be "Chaotic Light?"
hear me out, almost every instance of guiding light is meant to guide the player to the end, almost every instance of curious light is vague and sparks curiosity, and it doesn't a genius to say that modifiers are definitely and very likely intentionally chaotic.
Bro u may be onto smth
the red light's name might be: Challenging Light.
@@Davey1993 Or "Challenge Light"
I kinda agree, as there are positive modifiers too, if they were evil they would force you to play with modifiers just to progress, but they may have something to do with seek and screech because we can see a red light on them, I believe the name “Manipulating Light” makes a lot of sense because of this as they manipulate the games mechanics and entities.
Wait.... no, no, he's onto somthing
A thing I want to point out is that we can maybe see it in one more place: in the rare jack red room event
And the red shows that red light aka mischievous light is trying to free the entities, and it succeeds
@@DoorsRBLX_Seek yeah they state that in the video if I'm not mistaken
it's definitely interesting what the red light's goals are, and i hope we get more info on it sooner, because there are like 800 million concepts on the red light already despite it not even having an official name yet.

@@kovolusIsn't the painting the galaxy?
@@wowlookyes The other lights in the painting could be other galaxies, but its still unclear imo

This would be like saying that halt is powered by guiding light because just like seek, the room changes color.

since the beggining i always thought that the red light wasn't exactly like a talking entity like the other lights but actually a force, but idk if that keeps up now but i like that idea
It could be the one who created the entities as well, and it could be neutral, nobody knows
i watch your videos to fight my depression cuz your videos spark alot of curiosity and mystery and i like mysterious things
Red light could be seek, seek referred as Lucifer said by Tom in game theory, the architect red light might rebelled against curious light, as I beleive the god,and this is why red light became distorted and as control over hell, doors’s dimension
yeah, in the dam there's a red glow if the seek worm is about to attack the player. I think the light is guiding the worm to where the player is
If curious light was his and the red light rebelled against them it would not make sense for curious light to listen to the red light.
Rush be bigger than seek so I think Ur right. Cool theory!
I'm not gonna talk furthermore and do not say anything like "why u jus takkin abut dup and gomblatz???"
Anyway, bye.
For anyone wondering, at 3:30 he says that the red on seek dam has no explanation for its existence, although if you have played and beat floor 2, it shows where the seek hand, seek monster, and seek worm will go, meaning it's not the red light, it's just there to help players know when they should go and where they should go.
It could also be mischievous light guiding seek
When I saw the notification it cut off at “third re..”
I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA SAY THIRD REICH
The crucifix theory might be wrong, because, well, the hotel+ update was so well made and so much effort was put into it, that maybe they'd code it so that the red lights icon would replace the moon icon in the crucifix middle when it turns red. Idk tho correct me if im wrong
maybe the modifers logo hadnt been created yet?
though there was proof of it before the modifers update due to the rooms painting having the blue and red dots before modifiers released
@@AwesomeDanimations yeah but still, theyd already have updated it probably.
-Guiding Light has the Crucifix and the Possessed Candle
-Curious Light has the vial, bottle and barrel of Starlight
- Red Light so far doesn't seem to have any object affiliated with them so far. But given how much there's red lighting around Seek, who says that it couldn't be true?
This is exactly what I think of week and another thing is seek is (presumably) the main antagonist that would be more evidence
I think the third light isn’t evil but instead, just a little devious and keeping the game fair
Hey Cheddar Balls, big fan! I just wanna ask u what editing app do u use for ur videos?
I believe that the reason the entity is saved by the red light when figure or seek is being crucified is because they either know that the character is strong enough, or its because they know the character is not in a species, but instead in a singular person.
I like to imagine Mischievous light (Still calling her that) isn't evil in the slightest, she just has an incredible lack of foresight and never takes anything seriously. I imagine while Guiding is desperately helping players against Halt and Seek and all, Mischievous is just cheering like it's a football game
Curious light is just like
“Ok cool, umm, that is wierd, you die to funny thing. bye!”
Or
“You found another wierd place, good for you”
3:33 It's probably from Seek itself, as the red glow appears around any presence of Seek. Meaning that it's probably from the entity itself.
however i did notice that when the seek chase is happening in floor 2 ( the first one) i think that its the red light throwing the boulders down to slow you down and make it easier for seek to catch up to you and how at door 145 i think the red light is the one that breaks the board so you fall to your death thankfully guiding light saves us by pushing the minecart ( cheddar balls i hope you see this :) )
Personally i dont think the red light stops the crucifix, because why would he only do that on seek figure or grumble and not the other entities? My thought is that its related to the entity's power, and guiding light turns red as a warning that he cant ban those guys
it could work from both perspectives, a design choice & lore choice. we can't decide just yet though, we need more info.
A theory I've had on this is that some entities require a bit more effort from guiding light to crucifix due to their natural strength. Their resistance buys the red light enough time to get involved and overpower guiding light.
What if the red light doesn’t have infinite power, it only will try to protect TK bigger treats
The threats
@@Spider_Monke_VrWe know it doesn’t have infinite power, if it did it make the game literally impossible with like +200% modifiers
3:00 it would be cool if they made the modifier symbol partially flicker over the moon during seek/figure/grumble failures
That's what I was thinking!
but this is not confirmed that Modifier Light is canceling crucifix’s power in order to save Seek, Figure and Grumbles
I do have a theory that the red light (dubbed the mischievous light by the community) is actually the main antagonist alongside Seek given that they'll happily make your life a living hell just for the fun of it when you have mods on. Im also speculating that they're directly helping Seek kill you as in phase 3 at Door 200, they'll mark your location on the scrap with a red light, prompting Seek to launch a giant leach over to that area.
or it's just helping by warning us that seek is about to strike in that area

Okay hear me out, you know how he helps prevent figure and seek from getting crucified, what if he helps amplify Hides powers?

I have a theory when it comes to doors, but it’s a little far fetched
You theorised that figure would be the “big bad” in floor 3 because of the festering meat by the castle, but we also saw seek pretty much kill the queen grumble. They wouldn’t have spent all that time making the animation if it wasn’t important. I think seek and figure might join forces. We could see figure die, and see seek take over figures body.
(Also this would be terrifying because then figure could see due to seeks eyes)
Yo that’s actually a good theory
honestly i dont think the crucifix failing is because of the red light, i think that the entity is simply more powerful than guiding lights power hence it can only stun them for some time instead of banishing them completely, i think the red light shows that guiding light failed to banish the entity.
Game theory fact: In the Hotel that red stuff is actually fire from seek and seek shows every sign that he is Lucifer
One more thing you missed that red light also appears when you encounter jack (blood room) so it somewhat tells us about the lore..
i doubt jack's room has anything to do with the red light, let alone being canon.
One more the place the red light appears in is the rift, with all the blue flashes/ triangles one flash in the sequence is red, this could be because I have a crucifix in the rift but it still appears in the rift.
The generator balls also have 3 lights, yellow, blue and RED
*bulbs
We have seen the red sparkles, if you have a no progress modifier on and you try and go to the backdoor they will block the path

You should check is the wingdings text of the crucifix changed when the crucifix fails, maybe the message changes
Personally I believe the crusufix turning red is not a sign of modifer light. It is the universal color for something failing so I don’t there there is any real lore behind it other than just to show the entity is too strong to be banished. For example Grumble can’t be banished but it’s very likely it’s not due to MODIFER cus it’s ways to be and strong for a simple small thing to take it down.
both perspectives could work, so we can't really decide whether it's a design choice or an actual lore thing just yet, we need more info & evidence.
I've always headcanonned this one's name as The Blinding Light
2:35 I think that it's just because seek figure and grumble are just stronger than guiding light because even if you don't have modifiers it still won't be ABLE TO DIE
In the Haunt Roblox event for doors, we see a candy with the logo of the red light that kills you
also it might be removed but u could use the crucifix in the rooms showing the coolor of curious light
My theory is the red light helps seek break from the crucifix
IDK if this counts, but the fuses you find for the generators are blue yellow and red and may possibly be paralels to the arcitects
seek might’ve never been hostile in the first place, the red light could’ve taken over seek because of his power to turn anything into his own slave like giggle turned into screech
my theory: The third architect is our power because I think we control modifiers like how in Scp containment breach D-9341 is a scp that can load saves (Weird Elaboration ik)
Something that I don’t think anyone noticed is that the red light is around ambush too
Is cool.

I feel like that the architects were actually 3 friends and one friend just trapped them all inside because of his evil intentions, to stop him going out into the world , the other two friends brought the 3rd friend inside , so I think that the other two friend cursed him to be a different entity, but the third friend overpowered them and basically somehow all of them became lights , the only way out of there is with us, so the other two lights help us , while the red light prevents us , so that the other two architects can't spill the beans of the red architect, therefore many entities were created, I also do think seek was a neutral entity that was always present in the hotel/mines but was overpowered by the red architect and forced them to be aggresive, I also do think hide in the mines IS the red architect, there may be another reason why the red architect may stop us from going into the rooms, there probably are OTHER entities in the rooms that can be so hard that it cannot be beaten by a mortal like us.
bro is using prenerf floor 2 footage and thought we wouldnt notice
literally the only time we see the red light is in seek chase or when ever it breaks the crufixion of guiding light and modifier sub rooms ofc
there is another place for the red light, after beating door 50 in floor 1, at the door u see the guiding light, but then u see the mischevious light for like half a second
Taking all info from people who looked through things like the wingdings it quotes something about 3 gods if I’m right so the red light is probably a failsafe of the crucifix’s power to keep them stalled for a bit, curious light might be involved.?
ykw? in the crucifix sigil, when the crucifix fails, the moon icon should fade into the galaxy icon
But maybe seek is its physical form, also explaining why seek emits that red light.
what the fuck is a mischievous light
The red light @@MufftinsTheMuffin
I believe seek might be the red light, think about it
How would seek cause rocks/furniture to fall down then?
Also the statue in the courtyard that people associated with guiding light has a ring on it's head with what can be compared to seek's eyes, so that might not be guiding light, but rather the red light
i was literally just watching one of your videos lol
Lsplash confirmed in his official guilded server that its called mischevious light
Wow, I sure do love characters that hardly ever appear!
we could say that the red light is the antagonist or the main villain, but also there are good modifiers, how do you explain that?
Earlier today before this I was thinking of the lights and I just played doors and saw the red barrier and later today now this came out
I have 2 things to say
Neutral Light is most powerful
who is neutral light
The red light controls where dam seek puts the arms or seek leech ECT. so it seems that seek is the red lights follower or at least they are connected
The red light should deserve the hate from blocking the rooms
um actually we do kinda see their sparkles when we try to enter the rooms while having modifiers
I think the red light is the main antagonist of doors. Seek is the right hand man of thr red light
